Decided to try Patty's Diner and ordered the smash burger after hearing good things about it. It definitely lived up to the hype. The patty had those crispy edges, the meat was juicy, and everything was perfectly balanced, just a bit greasy though. The fries were fresh and crispy too. Love the root beer float! Next time, i'll try their milkshake. The staff was nice, service was quick, and the diner had that classic, cute, cozy vibe that makes you want to come back. If you're in Burlingame and craving a really good burger, this place is worth checking out. I'll definitely be back for another smash burger!

Visiting from out of town and when we walked by we thought it looks super cute inside. It's a small place that is retro themed. They were playing I Love Lucy on the screen. The milkshakes sounded delicious so we decided to stop by and get a couple. We ordered at the counter and the staff looked like they all got along together and it was a fun environment. We got the cookies and cream and banana cream pie milkshake. Both were very creamy and sweet. I would say that I liked the banana cream pie one more though. Overall cute place.

Order at the counter and grab a seat! Had the southwest and classic burger and flavors were amazing! Huge onion rings and some tater tots that were fine. Grabbed some spicy sauce because I love that heat and I would say it's not that bad. Milkshakes are not your classic malted or thick shakes, but i thoroughly enjoyed my creamy mango shake. My son was not a fan of the mint shake and said he wish he had the cookies and cream instead. Decor and art were the highlight :D grab some friends and enjoy some drinks and watch some shows like Leave it to Beaver! Street parking and prices are both painful, but this is a nice sweet treat. Thanks!

It was a warm Tuesday afternoon. My partner and I were deciding on a lunch spot and I recalled this spot that had an amazing retro vibe that I'd seen on tiktok before. Thus, we made our way over to Patty's Diner in Burlingame. First off, the decor and vibe of this place are outstanding. It is huge and has plenty of space even though it's squeezed into a classic small downtown space. For food, we ordered the Oklahoma Smash, Bacon Jam Smash(summer special), Garlic Parm Fries, and a Banana Cream Pie Shake. The Oklahoma smash was great. It had a really well smashed patty that could've used a little more onion, but flavorwise did everything it needed to. The Bacon Jam Smash was also a great burger. Super juicy and really well topped, it was hard to find anything wrong. I just simply don't prefer a Pretzel bun, but even in this case it was pretty soft and worked well. The Garlic Parm Fries were also awesome. The fries themselves had great texture and were super crispy on the outside and smooth on the inside. The garlic and parm flavor were also really nice, though it was a little oily of course. Finally, the Banana Cream Pie Shake was so bomb. It tasted just like any good banana cream pie and it had a good variety of texture including real banana in the mix. The food, vibes, and service here were exceptional and I will definitely come back.

A few notes from our visit here: - came on a Saturday with a somewhat large party - 8 people. They were able to accommodate us because we called ahead and made a reservation. It doesn't look like there is much seating. There is some bar seating and a couple booths. They put two tables together in order to seat us. - when we ordered, they said it would take about 15 minutes. It was more like 45 minutes to get our food. They brought out our milkshakes very quickly so we had dessert before dinner. - since it's a smash burger, if you only get one patty, you're mostly eating all bread. I enjoyed the chili cheese fries. - the decorations were cool. Very spot on with the theme. I'm open to trying this place again for a better experience.

It's cutest burger spot. The diner is cute, decorated with a lot of posters, lights. The place is not very big has in door and out door tables. We walked by one time so we decided to come try it out. I was there before everyone else. The cashier told me "You order then find your table. ". Friday night dinner rush time and they are nice enough to let me sit at a table first to wait for my family. We all got different burgers and sides to try only thing is they are at a higher prices and still charge for sauce. Milkshake is good thick and you can tell they use good milk but just one cup, no extra. Float they use good soda but ice cream a bit sweet so it makes the float more sweet Fries and tots are just regular not very crispy . I guess I'm missing the sauce but I'm not sure $2 sauce is worth it. Onions rings are very crispy and favorful. The smash burgers are very good the meat is small if you don't get double. I did not try the Philly cheesesteak so cannot comment on it.

    50's tables and booths

First off, Patty's is a 50's diner complete with leather booths, formica tables & chairs lined with memborablia from the 50's. Plenty of photos listed. Food didn't disappoint with 50's & 60's music rocking the place. An enjoyable experience. I had a good old fashioned patty melt and it was what I expected, crunchy toasted rye bread, burger with Swiss cheese and enough mustard to add some spice. I'll definitely stop by when in town. Looks like Patty's Diner is doing brisk business. When leaving the place was already bustling with families & young children who were really enjoying the environment.

Such a cute diner with great food and even better service. The staff and our server were very friendly and welcoming. The whole place has a charming, nostalgic vibe, and having "I Love Lucy" playing in the background made the ambiance feel cozy and fun. Everything we ordered was delicious, and we will definitely be coming back again. Btw. Definitely get the shakes!

Classic diner vibe. I ordered a cheeseburger and shared chili cheese cries. Both of which were delicious. The burgers are similar to smash burgers and have a nice crispy char on them. The chili cheese fries were really good as well and coated the fries really well. The place was very clean and has a wide variety of options from burgers to shakes. You order and pay at the counter then recieve your food. This place had a consistent flow of people dining in and ordering take out. I was not a huge fan of the bun. It wasn't toasted and was a cheap bun, didn't match the burger. I also did not like the AI generated photos of the food. It didn't feel very accurate.

Very cute diner! Was walking past and decided to stop in to check out the menu and ended up walking out with a Pattys Burger Salad bowl. And it was delicious. Healthy but tasted amazing! I was greeted upon walking in. And it was a breath of fresh air. The lady was kind and immediately sent me the way of a menu. After ordering, it was quick. Took maybe 5 minutes max to get my food. The gentleman who took my order handed me the nicest to go menu ever!! I would have mistook it for a regular menu if he didn't say it was a To go menu when he handed it to me.

New addition to downtown Burlingame, Patty's looks welcoming with open space and nostalgic decor. There are 5-6 tables and bar seating. Not a ton of seating so keep that in mind! You order up at the cashier before you sit, so depending on how packed it is you may want to take it to go. All tables were full when we got there but thankfully we got one before our food came out. We had: Double Oklahoma smash burgers: 10/10 they were so good. The caramelized onions embedded into the patties was a nice touch. Super soft bun, melty cheese; and an outside crispyness to the patties. Perfection! Added house made smash sauce: great sauce, paired well with burger Peanut butter cup milkshake: 8/10. This milkshake tasted great it was just a little difficult to drink. Theres a lot of grit in the milkshake from peanuts or chopped up peanut butter cups. Often got stuck in the straw. They do give you a spoon as well but I prefer straw :) All in all a great smash burger joint and I'd definitely go again! P.S. the lady at the register was very friendly and welcoming

A retro inspired 50s diner with a modern twist of smash burgers. Their milkshakes are delicious. The food is a bit small of portions for the price but all ingredients were tasty and quality made fresh. Seating was self seating and ordering was at the counter.

Not to shabby for this spot in Burlingame, smashed burgers with several ways to get it your way. Here is breakdown of what I sampled and how it faired. Chilli cheese fries - piping hot, good meat to bean ratio, heavy/filling you can share this but why lol, crispy fries Oklahoma smashed burger - you may need to do the double cause the patties are small lol, grilled onions and decent taste, you can opt for the impossible burger or wagyu meat , I stuck with the regular and was pretty happy with everything, I would order this again Son had the classic opted for the double with wagyu meat and side of fries his take on it was it was filling and delicious Daughter had the nuggets and fries, her take she would come back lol Super retro look and feel, scarce seating by the time you get your order seats open up. Definitely dine in Definitely if in the area try this spot Food **** Price $$ Service ***** helpful staff, friendly Ambiance **** retro, different, nostalgic

At 20% sweet, I think I could've been ok with 50% sweet too. I tend to get drinks at around this sweetness level and I loved that the mango sago was on the less sweet side already! I forgot to take a picture of my white peach tea with agar and chia seeds -- this was soooo yummy as well. Also got this at 25% sweetness and found it sweeter than the mango sago, but the agar jelly was chewy and the overall drink was so smooth and just packed full of peach flavor. I couldn't stop drinking it after my first sip! I'd love to come back and try some of their other drinks and egg waffles next time when I'm in the area. Service was also super nice and quick.
