A few notes from our visit here: - came on a Saturday with a somewhat large party - 8 people. They were able to accommodate us because we called ahead and made a reservation. It doesn't look like there is much seating. There is some bar seating and a couple booths. They put two tables together in order to seat us. - when we ordered, they said it would take about 15 minutes. It was more like 45 minutes to get our food. They brought out our milkshakes very quickly so we had dessert before dinner. - since it's a smash burger, if you only get one patty, you're mostly eating all bread. I enjoyed the chili cheese fries. - the decorations were cool. Very spot on with the theme. I'm open to trying this place again for a better experience.

It's cutest burger spot. The diner is cute, decorated with a lot of posters, lights. The place is not very big has in door and out door tables. We walked by one time so we decided to come try it out. I was there before everyone else. The cashier told me "You order then find your table. ". Friday night dinner rush time and they are nice enough to let me sit at a table first to wait for my family. We all got different burgers and sides to try only thing is they are at a higher prices and still charge for sauce. Milkshake is good thick and you can tell they use good milk but just one cup, no extra. Float they use good soda but ice cream a bit sweet so it makes the float more sweet Fries and tots are just regular not very crispy . I guess I'm missing the sauce but I'm not sure $2 sauce is worth it. Onions rings are very crispy and favorful. The smash burgers are very good the meat is small if you don't get double. I did not try the Philly cheesesteak so cannot comment on it.

A retro inspired 50s diner with a modern twist of smash burgers. Their milkshakes are delicious. The food is a bit small of portions for the price but all ingredients were tasty and quality made fresh. Seating was self seating and ordering was at the counter.

Ordered for pickup few times. They are quick, tasty and very clean. I like their indoor sitting, and would go there for their dining service as well. The indoor sitting is very lively.

Looking for a quick bite while in the area, I found this little gem in Yelp. The space is nicely decorated in 50's era pop culture. The booths and seating areas are very clean and updated. I tried the signature mash burger and loaded garlic fries. The burger patties were delicious and the fries were crispy and well seasoned. My server was friendly and the food came out very quickly from the grill. They also serve floats, shakes and hot dogs. Happy travels !

Classic diner vibe. I ordered a cheeseburger and shared chili cheese cries. Both of which were delicious. The burgers are similar to smash burgers and have a nice crispy char on them. The chili cheese fries were really good as well and coated the fries really well. The place was very clean and has a wide variety of options from burgers to shakes. You order and pay at the counter then recieve your food. This place had a consistent flow of people dining in and ordering take out. I was not a huge fan of the bun. It wasn't toasted and was a cheap bun, didn't match the burger. I also did not like the AI generated photos of the food. It didn't feel very accurate.

Very cute diner! Was walking past and decided to stop in to check out the menu and ended up walking out with a Pattys Burger Salad bowl. And it was delicious. Healthy but tasted amazing! I was greeted upon walking in. And it was a breath of fresh air. The lady was kind and immediately sent me the way of a menu. After ordering, it was quick. Took maybe 5 minutes max to get my food. The gentleman who took my order handed me the nicest to go menu ever!! I would have mistook it for a regular menu if he didn't say it was a To go menu when he handed it to me.

New addition to downtown Burlingame, Patty's looks welcoming with open space and nostalgic decor. There are 5-6 tables and bar seating. Not a ton of seating so keep that in mind! You order up at the cashier before you sit, so depending on how packed it is you may want to take it to go. All tables were full when we got there but thankfully we got one before our food came out. We had: Double Oklahoma smash burgers: 10/10 they were so good. The caramelized onions embedded into the patties was a nice touch. Super soft bun, melty cheese; and an outside crispyness to the patties. Perfection! Added house made smash sauce: great sauce, paired well with burger Peanut butter cup milkshake: 8/10. This milkshake tasted great it was just a little difficult to drink. Theres a lot of grit in the milkshake from peanuts or chopped up peanut butter cups. Often got stuck in the straw. They do give you a spoon as well but I prefer straw :) All in all a great smash burger joint and I'd definitely go again! P.S. the lady at the register was very friendly and welcoming

Patty's Diner is a refreshing yet nostalgic dining experience that I had the pleasure of visiting. I went there within the first few months of it opening and there's honestly not many restaurants nowadays that compare. They operate as a 50's-60's style diner with tons of cool relics of back in the day such as music albums, movie posters, and props. They have classic music playing and old movies playing all the time which really add to the atmosphere. I really appreciate a themed restaurant that put much effort to highlight their gimmick. They compliment their theme well with great customer service, they greet and cater to you right when you enter the door and they seem genuinely nice, nothing forced or fake in the slightest. Even at your table to check in frequently to ask how the food is or if you need anything. And in their downtime you see them constantly cleaning and making sure they present their place well. You can tell they put pride in their work. They were so nice it lowkey pushed me to compliment them before we left on their food and service, which I would never really do naturally, they honestly just deserved a vocal thanks. I left with a smile and this place is now one of my favorite trendy but classic places to eat! The food itself is pretty good, not life changing but it tastes good and it's not too expensive anyways!

Not to shabby for this spot in Burlingame, smashed burgers with several ways to get it your way. Here is breakdown of what I sampled and how it faired. Chilli cheese fries - piping hot, good meat to bean ratio, heavy/filling you can share this but why lol, crispy fries Oklahoma smashed burger - you may need to do the double cause the patties are small lol, grilled onions and decent taste, you can opt for the impossible burger or wagyu meat , I stuck with the regular and was pretty happy with everything, I would order this again Son had the classic opted for the double with wagyu meat and side of fries his take on it was it was filling and delicious Daughter had the nuggets and fries, her take she would come back lol Super retro look and feel, scarce seating by the time you get your order seats open up. Definitely dine in Definitely if in the area try this spot Food **** Price $$ Service ***** helpful staff, friendly Ambiance **** retro, different, nostalgic

My husband and I were just walking around downtown and we took one look inside and it made us go in. It has that retro diner vibe with classic old Hollywood movie posters all around the walls. Everything was also very clean and surprisingly spacious, which made it comfortable to sit and enjoy the meal. Service was excellent from start to finish. The person taking our order was genuinely friendly, and our food came out very quickly We kept it simple with a burger and garlic parmesan fries. The fries were so good. They were crispy and perfectly cooked with a great balance of garlic and parmesan flavor and not too salty either. The burger was good but I wish the bun had been better. Overall, a really enjoyable experience with great service and atmosphere.

Came here for lunch and I was disappointed. We ordered a pattys melt and bbq smash burger with an order of Parmesan garlic fries and chili cheese fries. Paid over $60 for 4 items. The patty melt was thin and felt like it was missing something. You can view the pic in this review and see why. The saving grace was the chili cheese fries which were crispy with a very tasty chili. But like I said, that's pretty much the only redeeming quality. Won't be coming back unless quality changes.

Must try if your in the Burlingame area. Was craving a smash burger and found this place in the way home. The decor has an old school diner feel. Straight forward menu with great service. Got the Oklahoma double smash burger with garlic fries and it didn't disappoint. They have amazing ranch that's made in house as well.

Huge credit to the sweet mother to be working the cashier register. I ordered the Palermo, hot chocolate, orange juice, and the Siena sweet crepe with no strawberries. My fiancé had the omelette and the French toast order. Buttermilk pancake and Milano crepe were fine - both were relatively sizable and tasty. New Orleans benedict was a huge miss. I'm not sure how long my plate was sitting out before it was served, but the English muffin was soggy, the egg was very overcooked/not runny at all, and the hollandaise sauce had developed a noticeable skin. The entire dish was lukewarm at best. Our food came out quickly, so it's obvious Crepevine pre-makes everything and nothing is fresh. As we were leaving, we saw a plate in the kitchen with a giant stack of pre-made crepes on it. Lastly, service was a HUGE disappointment. When we were at the cash register placing our order, the employee NEVER looked at us. Instead, she kept looking around and was very distracted, which is probably why she asked us to repeat ourselves 3 times. Then, in the MIDDLE of our ordering, she turned and started talking to a woman behind us in line. They literally proceeded to have an entire conversation while we were standing there, holding menus in our hand, waiting to finish placing our order. We should have walked out right there. After we sat down, no one ever brought us water. Our food arrived and we still didn't have water, so we had to flag someone down. That person didn't bring anything, so we had to ask another person.
