    Strawberry matcha

I've been coming to Philz every now and then for a coffee. I came back today to try the new matcha. I would say the matcha is pretty good, however, the strawberry syrup reminds me of strawberry flavor medicine. In that sense, it made the drink not that enjoyable. The wait time for a drink is pretty long especially on the weekend. The wait time estimate is pretty accurate. I recommend ordering ahead of time or risk a 20 minute wait on a weekend!

Great ambience and environment to study/work on projects either solo or with a group. Playlist on point. Staff super welcoming, but also very busy(ofc!) I noticed new flavors on their menu. I ordered a tiramisu flavored coffee(hot). My friend ordered the salted butterscotch(hot). Delicious flavors, but served slightly above room temp. I feel I would prefer this temp over scorching hot though, but for the full experience, I feel it should have been hotter. We ordered the piña colada croissant. It was pretty unique, a 7 out of 10, according to my friend. I had the cherry almond coffee cake and it was delicious! Fluffy, sweet with just a slight bit of tartness from the cherry. Ordered warm! Definitely coming back here to brainstorm ideas for my website.

Ordered Green Chile Burrito & Roasted Chicken & Golden Rice Burrito both should have 2X Hot Sauce. Did not include with both orders. Store does not check if orders are correct!

A Shout-Out to Claire Claire, the barista at the Philz Coffee Westborough branch, truly delivered an outstanding experience. Her skill in crafting the Large Mocha Tesora was impeccable, and her pleasant demeanor made the visit all the more enjoyable. Claire's excellent service and friendly attitude are commendable, making her a stellar example of customer service. Ambience is great. I like the sign , " Better Days Start here "!

Philtered Soul (Front) & Honey Haze (Back)

Recommended by my partner's cousin to try out this coffee shop. Something warm since it was a bit chilly but also comforting. Philz Coffee was the shop to go to if you're looking for something a little indulgent but not overpowering. We walked in and the shop had a good amount of folks hanging out, meeting, working, schoolwork, etc. We ordered the: 1. Philtered Soul (Hot) - Nice hazelnut flavor bringing warmth and nuttiness. It was not overly sweet (with was great!) and blended nicely with a subtle taste of chocolate adding a good amount of richness. It's smooth, cozy, and feels like the perfect coffee to sip at home with a blanket on a chilly day or night. 2. Honey Haze (Hot) - Same ingredients as the Philtered Soul but added a touch of honey and oat milk. The honey brough a natural sweetness that complements the hazelnut beautifully. The oat milk added a velvety smoothness to the coffee which feels extra luxurious. Overall, enjoyed our time and experience with Philz Coffee. Would definitely recommend this coffee shop for its great service and friendly staff as well.

I ordered a chamomile tea and it really hit the spot. Instead of using a regular tea bag, they actually used real chamomile flowers, which was such a nice surprise. The flavor came through so much more fresh and vibrant, and it had just the right amount of natural sweetness without being overpowering. It felt really soothing and comforting--exactly what I needed. I also loved how much care they put into the presentation; you can tell they really think about quality here. Definitely a place I'd come back to when I want something calming and well-made.

This is one of my first stops after I land in SFO. Always fast friendly service for fresh made to order the best coffee. This location has plenty of parking and seating to chill and enjoy your drink. Philz is always a must stop for me when I visit San Francisco. Dancing water sweet and creamy is my go to. Totally recommend a stop!

Parking here is easy! They have a whole lot, the line moves quick and when i went today they seemed fully staffed. My service was phenomenal and the cashier had great recommendations. I stuck around to study, this location is a little smaller than other locations i've been to but i found a spot pretty quickly around 9:30am. The quality of their coffee is just as good as other locations i've been to and i appreciate that consistency. Thank you!

Does anyone know if they have boxed coffee for large-ish group of people?

Only at certain locations, not at Westborough tho

Is the "Iced Chocolate" coffee? Asking as a non-coffee drinker! :P

It's like chocolate milk on steroids, but no coffee, or caffeine.

I'm curious why the hours here go so much later than other Philz on the peninsula?

The amount of traffic coming through this location is relatively steady throughout the day, and evening. There are booming little businesses around, not to mention Skyline College over the hill. This probably helps fuel the business.

Do they take mobile phone orders here? Which app do they use since OrderAhead no longer works?

They do not take orders, they use Caviar now for orders.

Let's start with the food. My partner and I had the Mexican Hash and Elvis pancakes, respectively. My partner (who is Mexican) was not impressed by the hash, and said it didn't taste very authentic. I enjoyed the Elvis pancakes--named for the fact that they're made with peanut butter, honey, and bananas. The flavor profile was good, but the pancakes were chewy and dry. I enjoyed the flavors, which is the only reason this review is 2 stars instead of 1. Beyond that, the service was not great. Our table was dirty and while the server said she would come clean it for us, she never did. The table only had one set of silverware and I was never brought any during our meal, I had to grab them off of an adjacent table. We were not given water, or asked if we wanted any, and our server checked in on us so infrequently that we had to flag down a different one just to ask for water. The prices were fine. Nothing unusual for the Bay Area, so that was a bonus at least, but there's no way I'm ever going back.

At my seat (depicted) you get live behind the scenes of a kitchen. Me personally, I enjoy watching my food being cooked in front of me, so I enjoyed it. I originally went because of looking at the prices on an image on yelp. It was $16 for sausage, eggs, hash browns, and pancakes. That's a great deal! But, once I got there inflation kicked it up to $18. Not the biggest difference to deter, but just letting everyone know the real price. I got pancakes, eggs, hash browns, and bacon (depicted). The eggs were good, pancakes were very good, hash browns were okay, and the reason for 4 star instead of a 5.... the bacon. The bacon wasn't crispy and cooked to order. It was chewy and I guess they cook it before and then heat it up on the griddle after. It is super noticeable from the taste, but especially from the texture. The two thin pork chops were supposedly marinated, but I couldn't tell from tasting them. They were over cooked--dry, tough and needed some herbs.
