We had a lovely dinner at this restaurant. It's a casual place to eat. Started with the fried peppers stuffed with cheese, saganaki, and the tzatziki/humus dip. They were very good and served with a lot of warm pita bread. DH and I each had a salad - one with shrimp and one with grilled chicken. Both were very good with the dressing served on the side. Our friends ordered the grill platter for 2 and said it was delicious but too much food. The margarita was very good and the mimosa OK. Prices are very reasonable. read more

My friends and I decided to stop by here for lunch before checking into our hotel. We were here in time for lunch. I got a pork gyro that came with French fries. It looked great, and tasted delicious. The pork was a little dry for my taste, but the extras on the gyro and the fries make up for that. These fries, honestly, were probably some of the best I've had. Service was fast, it was just us, so very quiet and nice. Our waiter was nice, and made conversation with us. I'm not sure if this place is passed off a lot since it doesn't really stand out in the strip it's in, but I would definitely call this place a gem. I'm from Chicago where we have lots of great gyros but the traditional gyro here was probably one of the best I've ever had. The meat was perfectly seasoned and the sauce was amazing and served on a perfect warm pita.There was no wait for a table which was a miracle in this area and the staff was super friendly and attentive. Stopped in here earlier tonight for dinner and I could not give this place enough stars. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with friendly welcoming smiles. Our server Ashlen was amazing and the food was top notch! We are new to the area and this is the first time since arriving earlier this month that we have gotten amazing service and food. They went out of their way to make sure our loved one who is confined to a wheelchair was comfortable. We ate here two times. Their philly cheese steak had a really good flavor. The second time We went I got their chicken gyro and it was delicious. Other family members got the chipotle jalapeño burger and a brother's burger and they said it was yummy. For an appetizer we got the tzatziki and hummus dips and it tasted really good. Now THIS place is one of those hole- in-the-wall restaurants that bedazzles! When we walked in on a Saturday afternoon, right around 12:30pm, there wasn't a soul in sight. We were greeted by a nice young lady and I think there was one cook in the kitchen, but other than those two individuals and our group, no one else was in the entire place! Atmosphere was also dull and really had nothing outstanding to it. I barely remember it to tell you the truth. But I am soooo glad despite the lack of life and décor, we stayed and tried their food (and people did eventually trickle in after about half an hour...). The food was FANTASTIC. I had an order of their dolmadakia (a.k.a "grape leaves") and an order of their spanakopita and loved them both. The dolmas were seasoned perfectly and melted in mouth. I also appreciated that they were generous and gave 8 pieces with the order when most places only give 4 or 6, the 8 piece was really cool, and it was still only $5.75. The spanakopita were light, fluffy and savory (especially w/the tzatziki sauce!). I also had a slice of my friend's Grecian Delight pizza, which was also incredibly flavorful. I couldn't believe that the black olives in it didn't bother me, normally I HATE black olives and pick them out, but they just had a subtle amount in the pizza and were not at all overpowering. For dessert, they have a gorgeous display with a selection of cakes and traditional Middle Eastern desserts such as baklava. I was too full to try any but everything looked amazing and the next time I'm there I plan to save room in my belly and sample something sweet. Grecian Delight is definitely an authentic Greek restaurant, is pleasantly non-touristy, and knows how to create quality dishes. If you like Greek cuisine, I highly recommend giving this place a try, the food will leave you smiling! read more

We cannot comprehend why this restaurant got 4-1/2 stars! It was not only the worst Greek food we (my husband & I, both food lovers!) have ever had, but also one of the worst meals we have EVER eaten in ANY restaurant. As many reviews said, we were the only ones in there (& we can see why!) There was 1 waitress and the owner's mother was cooking. We ordered numerous things, as there were 5 of us eating. I had the grilled chicken strips, lemon potatoes, chose a side salad (not the soup) and the green beans, which the waitress said were the best of the 3 (not the broccoli or zucchini)...the waitress told me, after I asked, that all the veggies were frozen...REALLY? My husband got a 1/2 baked baked chicken, lemon potatoes, a side salad, and zucchini. My daughter got the pork souvlaki skewer, rice, soup, and greens beans. My 2 sons got soup and cucumber yogurt dip. The lemon chicken orzo soup was thick, slimy, and bland. The salad was made with the darkest of the Romaine lettuce and bottled Italian dressing came in a side plastic cup! Not only were the veggies frozen, but clearly reheated numerous times! Because it was so quiet, we were able to hear the microwave being started repeatedly while waiting for our meal. The lemon potatoes were gray and bland, clearly reheated numerous times, as well! The pork 'cubes' were so over cooked and dry they were inedible and came with plain white rice. The grilled chicken strips were obviously bought frozen & already in strips, they were bland & colorless. My husband's baked chicken was also an interesting shade of dull gray, dry, and heated in the microwave--no browning or crispness! The only thing that was decent were the bread triangles and tzatziki dip, but we were leery to eat the dip/dairy due to the fact that nothing was fresh and with their lack of customers, who knows how long it had been sitting! We felt like Gordon Ramsey was going to walk in any minute to try and help the place avoid bankruptcy! On the way to the bathroom, you have the pleasure of passing their desk just beyond the fake brick 1/2 wall, overloaded with paperwork, a real mess which customers should not have to see...what does the kitchen look like, it's probably better we don't know. read more

I have never felt more unwanted in a restaurant ever! Went with one other person based on their menu we found online only to find out they had changed the menu. Asked the waitress about it & was told that the menu we found online wasn't actually theirs even though it was their website. Not sure what that means but ok. There was a total of 2 tables being served, ours & one other table of 4. I ordered the chicken souvlaki plate with a side order of garlic bread. Had an unsweet tea with lemon. No lemon arrived with my drink. Had to ask 2 more times for it before I received it. The food arrived a full 5 minutes ahead of mine for the person I was with. I thought that was weird. Usually the food arrives for both people at roughly the same time especially when it's only 2 people & the restaurant is almost empty. At first I thought the waitress must be new but I overheard her tell the other table she had been working their for 5 months. Anyway, when my food arrived it was without the side of garlic bread I had ordered. I reminded the waitress & I could see in her reaction that she forgot to put that in. Took another 5-10 minutes to get the garlic bread at which point I was pretty much done with my meal. The entire time we were eating she only came by to ask if everything was fine 1 time which wouldn't have bothered me so much except that she stopped by the other table at least 6 times to make sure everything was fine, maybe more. The one time she did come by was the only time she refilled my iced tea. To top all of this off the chef & I assume owner stopped by the other table to apologize to them for my garlic bread being late. They told him that wasn't their table. He never came to our table to apologize for the garlic bread. The kicker is he actually proceeded to comp the other tables entire meal. The final nail in the coffin was when I received the check I couldn't believe they actually had the nerve to charge me an additional dollar for my one & only refill of iced tea. Normally I would've made a stink but I really just wanted to leave this restaurant as quickly as possible. The one & only good thing I can say about this place is the taste of the food was good. However, the portions were small & obviously the service was awful. I will not be back & I will tell everyone I know about my experience. read more

The yelp menu is out dated over ten years old per the person behind the counter that commented that he can't control what's on yelp. He also stated there was another Greek restaurant down the street that was less expensive. The gyro on yelp menu is priced at $5.99 at the restaurant it's $12.99, saganaki yelp menu $5.99 restaurant $12.99. Price on the yelp menu got me in the door. Not much meat on the gyro even if you pay $5.99 ate the meat and left the pita and other filler. Saganaki was not breaded no crust at all. Being from Chicago and visiting Greek town frequently as well as other Greek restaurant and festivals no crust was the first, not what I expected. Saganaki, gyro, salad, double cheeseburger and a happy glass of wine $36 NOT WORTH THE MONEY. After a long day of traveling we were looking for a family friendly restaurant. We stumbled upon a yelp review for Grecian Delight and took a chance. Really glad we did. The host and staff were Very accommodating and definitely welcoming. Food was solid, classic Greek. What can I say? The best restaurant in town. It is a family owned, delicious food and super clean restaurant. My father was visiting from Northern Europe for three weeks, and he kept asking me to go back. If someone is asking you to go back not once but three times that means this place was more than just good. The food we have ordered was absolutely not only delicious, but also very generous portions and very appetizing. My father's wife and I had grilled chicken salads and my father had four meats plate. Also, above and beyond service. Silvia has asked for chips and the restaurant chef made her pita chips that were absolutely delicious and were not on the menu.
