Took us 3 years to get back to Jilla's. Still absolutely amazing. Super fresh ingredients and gracious staff. We came in less than an hour before close at 5pm. Bad on me. They still did not rush us through the process. We settled on what we would find out we're again excellent dishes. Photos show presentation, but can not match the amazing flavors. If you don't try this establishment shame on you. It's not flashy, just delivers excellent food and service. And yes, it's still in the same hard to find location, so use your GPS. read more

This small place is such hidden gem. I was told by the locals that you often have to wait for a table but today we were lucky to get a table of 5 lovely ladies. Service can be a little bit busy due to the fact that its a small place with 1 hard working server om the floor. The food is very fresh and made to order. This Mediterranean comfort caters to vegetarians and healthy clean eating although grilled chicken skewers can be found on the menu for those like myself who needs meat in their lives. This place is racist!! Two girls and I walked in to place a takeout order and the hostess was extremely rude to us (we asked for salad dressing on the side, but she rudely claimed that for 5 years the restaurant has never given anyone dressing on the side) but would cater to any other requests from guests walking in so nicely and politely. The tone we were spoken to was so unnecessarily rude. Also - no one is wearing masks!! The restaurant has put up all of these COVID safety signs but they don't even care to wear a mask. Ridiculous. Also, extremely slow service -- we were told our food would take 20min but we instead had to wait for 45 min. We aren't from South Carolina and really do not appreciate being discriminated against when we politely ordered and asked very normal questions. read more

I have wanted to try Jilla's for a while now but had a little trouble finding it. The location is not easily visible from the road, but I REALLY encourage you to seek it out! It's kind of across Hwy 17 from the Flea Market at the SC 9 split. They share parking with a chiropractor and LifeQuest Swim & Fitness. They were very accommodating in adapting the menu to my preferences and made some welcome suggestions while I was deciding. I really enjoyed the veggie wrap - everything was very fresh and the service was quick. Portion sizes are generous. The restaurant decor is nicely done in a casual way or you can choose take out by ordering at the register. If you are looking for healthy food prepared fresh, you need to go to Jilla's. read more

My mom lives nearby and this is one of her and her friends favorite spots! She brought me here and I understand why. There were a few very minor inconveniences, but all in all a wonderful lunch at a really good price. It took a while to get our sandwiches when there weren't a lot of people in the restaurant. My moms chicken avocado chipotle wrap was missing the avocado, but my turkey bacon havarti sandwich was delicious. We both got the soup with the sandwiches which was Tuscan white bean and slightly spicy but delicious. read more

The waitress was personable, helpful and friendly, and the chef even came out after our meal to ask how we enjoyed everything Even though my "sandwich" had no bread (due to gluten intolerance), I had plenty to eat, with a little left over for a later snack. No heavy dishes here, but lots of salads, quiche, sandwiches and soups. Two standouts on this menu are the hummus and baba ghanosh, along with other traditional Greek favorites. The pitas are fresh, soft and unlike any other I've tasted. I'll have to ask if they're house-made, too. Everything was fresh! Dressings are awesome and house made. This time we had the white bean soup and the Apricot turkey wrap and Rosemary Ham sandwich. We always get the Humus my very favorite. Excellent, each thing excellent. Raspberry sweet tea mmmm. This is healthy food that the owner takes pride in, I've never been into super health food places but this is so yummy my family adores it, The salads are great and most of the time I order one of them, this time the turkey caught my eye now another favorite. I found this place on yelp and read some reviews which were all amazing. When we were driving we got lost a little bit but it was so worth it because when we came here it was the most welcoming atmosphere and the service was amazing. If we weren't here on vacation I'm sure we would be regulars here. We ordered lots of food and appetizers which were all really delicious.
