I'll start off with why I give it 3 stars. The 25-minute delivery turned out to be less than 20 minutes...great. The fries were delicious...great. The pizza was very good...great (but I had to make them promise to NOT BURN it this time like the last 4 times). The loaf of bread cheesesteak (I don't know why everybody got away from steak rolls, but now everybody seems to be serving cheesesteaks on loafs of bread anymore) was pretty good but there was on taste in there that I could not identify that tasted out of place for a cheesesteak, and made the sandwich a 3 instead of a 5...not great, but decent. And lastly, the cheeseburger sub. I used to get these from Brothers regularly because they were delicious. After 1/2 of the sub I'm thinking of throwing the other half out in the trash. What happened?? I used to enjoy the taste of the burger but with this one there is only the taste of charcoal. Did they switch from the griddle to char-broil? If so, I will never order a burger from there again. It was disgusting. I love meat .... I do NOT love the taste of charcoal. And again, served in that stupid loaf of bread instead of a proper steak roll. Oh, and do you see how they describe their sizes of the pizzas??? Small (12"), Large (15"), and Party (18"). Talk about trying to mislead the public. Anywhere else you go, a 15" pizza is a medium, and an 18" is a large. If you offer 3 sizes, the one in the middle is MEDIUM, not large. A 5 year old could tell you that, but these people try to promote their Party size is so much larger than a Large. That's only because they don't even know that their Large is actually only a Medium, and their Party is actually only a Large ....... just like every other pizza place. This place is absolutely annoying. The woman who answers the phone is so sweet and she is the only reason I gave two stars. Tonight was the icing on the cake for me. I ordered food as they said they would get it here within the hour. This was true. It was on time...HOWEVER; The delivery driver called me and was on the phone for 15 minutes with me while I told her exactly how to get to my house. I explained I could see where she was, she just needed to come to the next lot. Instantly I can hear her groaning about she doesn't know where to go, at this point I told her that she was in the right place. All she had to do was get out the car and go up the steps, she drivers back down the hill. Long story short, she did this for 15 minutes WHILE IM ON THE PHONE!! She told me to come to the parking lot because she can't find me. I told her I was unable to walk down. So she sat on the phone for an additional five minutes before I just said I guess I have no choice. Absolutely horrible delivery service, good thing the Stromboli was free because the food was horrible and cold. I'll just order from bambino's next time. read more

I am so utterly baffled by the lack of integrity in this establishment. I ha move gonna there a couple of times a month for the past year. The other day I went in for a pizza and a sub. After I paid and left a tip I asked for plates. The wom an who checked me out said that it would cost extra... I could not believe it. Also, when I called, she has asked if I wanted veggies on my sub. I was grateful that I didn't forget. however, there were veggies all over it. I sat at the table with a ton of napkins picking out all of the toppings I asked for them to leave out. Still... was not offered a simple plate. My husband and I moved to Perry County in late August and were looking for a good pizza shop. This one was super close to our house and since we ordered the first time, we were hooked. The young guy that answers the phone is consistently SO nice. When I walk in to get my pizza he is extremely friendly (service is so important even if it's just to pick up your food) the pizza is hot and fresh. We have gotten delivery too and they were fast and friendly. Their wings are incredible and their fries are good. We will definitely be loyal to Brothers Pizzeria. Everytime my husband and I were in the area, or passing through, we'd always stop at Brothers. They had ah-MAZING food. Their cheese fries were to die for and everything else on their menu was just phenomenal. Plus the staff were so incredibly friendly. But, they've apparently gone under new ownership and their food is totally disgusting now. We ordered cheese fries, expecting the same Brothers cheese fries we always got, and this time we got crinkle fries (the WORST) with the tiniest amount of melted mozzarella cheese on top. It was completely inedible. Also in our order was a pizza and a few subs and we couldn't even get through it. It was just gross. We'd always grab a dessert from the fridge by the counter and when I looked at them this time, you could tell they'd been sitting in there for quite a while -the chocolate cake was oozing some sort of clear yellowish liquid. What happened to this place?? We have traveled to this restaurant for a spinach calzone literally dozens of times. Was hands down our favorite. We ordered one this past weekend and it was absolutely terrible. It was literally WATERY...my only guess is that they used frozen spinach? Maybe to cut costs? Bottom of calzone was sopping wet from the water. And the sauce?? ALSO WATERY! Like they watered it down. It was so runny it wouldn't even stick to the calzone!! My husband and I were on a road trip and coming from Chicago, we were craving a slice of floppy east coast style pizza. It was late at night and this was among a few of the places open so we decided to try it out. I called ahead of time to ask what different kinds of pizza they had and the worker even offered to warm up a few slices for us so that they'd be ready to eat by the time we got there. When we arrived, the pizza was hot and ready. The pizzeria was very clean and well-maintained and the cashier was very friendly too! The pizza was sooo delicious and definitely hit the spot! My only reason for any stars at all is the employees themselves and the food. Employees are super nice and the usual delivery guy is so sweet. The food is pretty good. They changed their pizza recipe a few years ago, making it 10x better! My biggest issue with this place is the delivery service. In the 3 or 4 times we've ordered from them, I have never gotten my food hot and/or within 30 mins [or less] of placing my order. The most recent delivery time was 1 hour, 10 mins. I know I can always pick it up, but after driving all day for work, it's just nice to have it come to you. They are one of the only restaurants in the area that delivers (no door dash in the area). So yes, I'm sure they're busy. But the wait time is insane. And it's every. single. time. Also, when you call to order, you can almost guarantee you'll be put on hold immediately. It's just unfortunate because this place could be SO much better if they would just hire more delivery drivers and people to take orders via phone. Love this place great atmosphere and nice people. They rarely make a mistake and if they do they make up for it fully and take full responsibility for it. The pizza is good as far as I'm concerned, and that's saying something seeing as that I eat pizza at least 4 times a week sometimes 2-3 times a day. The menu does not stop there, they serve burgers, salads, hot ham and cheese sandwiches, chicken tenders, and more. They have a soda fountain, and a fridge full of bottles for purchase. Last time I had pizza there it was way too oily that I couldn't eat it at all. I tend to stick with their fries, their wings and their subs. The only other "bad" thing I have to say about it is that I wish they had a way to place delivery orders online instead of having to call in. We have ordered here many times. Pizza is ok. Prices are a tad higher than I'd like. They do deliver. I don't like the fact that they kind of reiterate the fact of tipping the driver while placing a phone order. The driver does have an extremely loud car though and peels in and out of parking spots each time. He has dropped soda on the road which we saw him do but neglected to mention it when he got to door. He also put our pizza on roof of the car and opened it. Not sure why I'm assuming to make sure cheese didn't slide during the trip. I received rancid salad dressing before but found that out after I poured it on my salad! ;( we do like the brothers fries though and the cheesesteaks though. This place used to be great. Really good food. Then they really went down hill. Several times I ordered subs for my wife and I. When I go to pick them up, there is only 1 sub for me. The guy claims I only ordered one, even though I told them I want two different subs. We used to love their wings. Now they are soggy rather than crispy. My wife asked them "could you make the wings like you used to", and they acted like they didn't know what she was talking about. She went on to describe how they are not cooked properly lately. When we got the wings, they were again cooked the same lousy way and were not very good. One time their credit card machine was down. I told them "well, I guess I cant pickup my order then". They told me to go across the street to the bank for cash. I told them no, because I would have to pay a surcharge to use the ATM (the bank was closed). Then, as if by magic, they pulled out a different credit card pad, ran the transaction, and all was well. If they had an alternate way to process cards, then why did they tell me to go to the bank? These are just a few of the reasons that I do not go to this pizza shop anymore. read more

As far as I am concerned it is the best pizza in the whole county and the service is great too. We have tried several others and it seems like the quality has gone done at these other places so we keep going back to Brothers (even if that mean an extra 10 mile or more drive). As far as we're concerned it's the only quick and easy pizza option in Newport. The restaurant appears to be clean and well kept, probably our single biggest issue with other pizza joints in the area. The pizza is sometimes a little too salty for our taste, something we hope they address in the future. Service is great and the wait is never more than 25 minutes for our takeout. read more

We really love this place! We've been here twice while in town and the food is great! The pizza is pretty good, and their sandwiches and wings are great. The food comes quick and customer service is good. Everything inside is very clean including the bathrooms. The atmosphere is great and we love all of the signed sports gear inside. Even though I live in Newport, I've been getting our pizzas from Mama's in New Bloomfield. I thought I'd give Brother's a try since it's fairly new. I won't be getting pizza there again. They were not busy on the weeknight I called in my order, but for some reason, they pulled my pizza out of the oven before it was done. It was already cut and in the box when I went in to pick it up and smelled great! But when I got home with it and opened the box, it was only half cooked. No brown to the crust, not even on the bottom. I ended up throwing it in my oven for 20 minutes before we could eat it. My husband said the only good thing about the pizza was the cheese and the pepperoni...and they had nothing to do with that! The sauce was blah, and the crust was too sweet.
