There was plenty of meat on the sub with all the fixings, and of course, I complemented it with plain Middleswarth chips. Being from Pennsylvania, you have to eat it with Middleswarth chips! My mouth was drooling looking at the sub, even though the roll itself felt very hard. With the first bite, I went right down memory lane, sitting in my grandfather's green Ford Ranger. I scarfed it down, but well... I was disappointed. The bread was so hard that it almost scratched the roof of my mouth. The cheese was just bland, not bursting with flavor, and the salami and pepperoni slices had no flavoring to them at all. I think the only thing that saved it was the hot peppers that I added. To make matters worse, I also noticed the bathrooms were dirty, which is never a good sign. I also felt very slow and sluggish afterward. I don't think food is supposed to do that; food is supposed to give you energy, not slow you down. I do not recommend this place for a sub at all. I'd rather get one from a pizza shop or even Sheetz--and I think all Sheetz food tastes like cardboard, but that's just me. I hope my review helps you decide where to get your sub next!

As the two customers in front of me left the counter, both cashiers walked away at the same time and, after a moment, returned from the back with sleeves of Styrofoam cups and were trying to refill the cup dispenser. A manager, I think, saw what was happening and leaned over from the drive-through area and asked them to wait on the growing line of customers that by now was no longer reasonable and reached out the door like yesterday. When I placed my order, my cashier was friendly but soft-spoken and didn't seem to have any urgency about taking my order or the restless customers behind me. I feel like someone ought to sit and watch what goes on and try to troubleshoot what the holdup is. Within three minutes of sitting down at a clean table, I had my food. The sandwich was fine and the fries today were extremely hot and fresh almost as if to make up for yesterday. The restaurant was clean, staff friendly, but they just don't have it together here. If you're in a hurry but still want to eat inside, I think the thing to do is order at the drive-through, get your food then go inside and eat if there are seats available.
