This salon is clean, the employees are so sweet, and professional. Areej N, worked on my eyebrows and did an excellent job grooming them. Because of my sleeping habits one of my eyebrows is higher than the other one;thus, in the "before" image you can see they are full, an eyebrow doesn't match the other, and obviously not maintained What you see in the after images are simply cleaned up brows. Looking for a go to brow salon? THIS IS IT! I've been living in the neighborhood for just over a year and dreaded having my eyebrows done. Every other salon was making my "ugly stepsister eyebrow" look worse! I legitimately had to wait until I traveled back to the east coast to get a better shape. NOT ANYMORE! The owner is amazing. She starts off by simply asking how you would like your brows look? So simple but most places never even ask and start hacking at your face without a plan....who wants generic looking brows?!? After she assessed my situation, she discussed how she would best execute the job and that within X amount of time she will have my eyebrows looking much more equal. Such a relief to find someone who really puts thought into what they are about to do instead of rushing to get me out of the seat. I got a shaping threading which included a brush out and tending with scissors for any renegade hairs. I then got tinting done. Every other shop I had visited locally applies the tint OVER to my bare skin instead of coloring with my natural brow shape. This always made me look ridiculous and again....never took into account that my personal preference is not to look like Oscar the Grouch. At BrowBar, she applied the tint with a delicate hand just to acentuate the shaping she jusy did. Of course with any tint, the first day looks the harshest but the following morning my brows looked naturally full and beautiful even my clueless husband noticed how much better they were. So aside from the brow services, I noticed they provide a nice variety of beauty needs including facials and hair styling but what really caught my eyes was henna! I asked about her henna service and expressed my interest interest on using it for my maternity shoot (I am currently 30 weeks pregnant). She asked to see a style I would like and gave me a reasonable price quote for the job. She then offerred to do some henna on my hand to make sure I wouldn't have an allergic reaction...she did it free of charge! I found that to be so considerate because we never know how our bodies react to different things during pregnancy and the fact that she wanted to ensure safety over profit was just beautiful to me. The shop itself is brand new and stylish. It literally caught my eye while I was driving by. The bathroom was extremely clean, which to me speaks volumes about the pride a business owner takes in their establishment. I hate dingy messy bathrooms in beauty salons. The way the shop is maintained just echoes how BrowBar pays attention to details. I had an appointment to get my eyelashes done. I have cancer and they were thinning but still there. It was breast cancer awareness month and I wanted to do something nice for myself to look normal again. They cancelled my appointment. They didn't even offer me an apology or a discount to another service like a facial or something. I even talked with them saying I wanted to do a facial instead and she suggested the soothing facial. I agreed and then started talking about the eyelashes again and how upset I was. She said she would talk to someone and call me back . She never did, nor did they answer my call. So I guess I can't get eyelashes or a facial now. I get it that they think I'm a liability or whatever but I'm literally injecting chemicals into my body for health, I think eyelashes will be ok. It was my first time going to her, she was very friendly and kept a conversation going as she worked on my eyebrows. I loved the fact that when I sat in her chair the first thing she asked me was "okay tell me about your eyebrows" so I got everything said that I was concerned about the way I wanted my eyebrows to be done.
