If I could give Whitney ALL my money, I would. And that's what I've been doing since last year when I first got my brows microbladed by her. She was highly recommended by my hairstylist, who I trust, and when I saw photos of her work, I was sold. I have gotten my brows microbladed twice before already: The first time was by a downtown Seattle artist I would never return to, the second time elsewhere was somewhat decent but not quite what I had in mind, the third time with Whitney was hands down the best and exactly what I was going for: natural hair strokes and fluffy brows. I don't have to draw them in anymore as I did with my previous microblades, but I do like to apply some brow gel/serum to give them that freshly laminated look. I can't wait to get them redone every 2 years. I'll never let anyone else touch my brows ever again. And then I got addicted and got my hairline microbladed, my scalp microbladed, my eyeliner done, and next? Well, the only thing left to do now are my lips, which I have scheduled of course, and I know she's going to kill it. Whitney definitely has an eye for beauty and detail. On the one hand, she is quick and skillful. On the other hand, she is careful and meticulous in what she does and wants the best for her clients. I appreciate that she pays attention, asks questions, and works with you to achieve the desired results. These are not completely painless, painfree procedures, but thank goodness Whitney is patient when I'm squirming more than I mean to. I asked for something on the thinner side of her spectrum, and ended up with shapeless, incredibly thick, uneven brows. The product she uses isn't great quality, and ended up fading wishing 2 years into one deep, single, 1"x4" grey/blue "hair stroke". I had a really great microblading experience with Whitney! I found her through a positive review done by an influencer I really respect and decided to go for it! Before I went to her I literally had no eyebrows. They were so sparse and super light. I have auburn hair and lots of strawberry blonde mixed in which made me nervous that they would look very severe. SO GLAD I DIDN'T GET MY BROWS DONE HERE! I went in with my sister for her touch up to see Whitney. I had not gotten my brows microbladed yet, so I wanted to see if she was going to be a good option. She seemed nice enough. But when she started microblading my sister eyebrows I was actually SHOCKED! Whitney was physically shaking because she was pressing so hard with the blade on my sisters face. I thought holy shit, is this normal? My sister had so much blood dripping down her face. Whitney continued to wipe the blood but I thought this did not seem right! When my sister asked me afterwards if they looked even commented on some spots that could be more symmetrical. Whitney seemed annoyed that I commented and that she had to fix it a couple times. Even then it still wasn't even. She seemed rushed as well, as another person had been waiting outside for a while. I was confused why she doesn't book enough time for her appointments especially when this is an extremely important procedure for people as it's pretty permanent. My sister has fair skin with naturally blonde hair and her brows were so dark, almost black looking and so close together! They were way higher than her natural brows, looked so thick, uneven and unnatural. I felt so bad because this was something she had wanted for so long and she was so upset with how terrible they looked, and how dark they were. She has now gone to 8 removal sessions. Between the ink Whitney uses, that has metals in it, and the scarring she caused by pressing so hard, she will likely have a handful of removals more.. if she's lucky. I would just say that if you are questioning going to Browhemian, don't go! You seriously will dodge a bullet if you don't go. Even if you lose your deposit it is seriously not worth the irreparable damage, pain, suffering, amount of money you will pay for removal. I later went on to get my brows done by an artist in Portland and clearly saw how wrong Whitney was to be pressing so hard and cutting so deep. The artist I saw did light wisps on my brows, which turned out looking like delicate hair strokes. Sadly, my sister was wanting the look and experience I got but because Whitney cut so deep this caused the ink to bleed and she ended up with blocky, chunky brows. I've had a similar experience with Whitney as other reviews have stated. When I initially got microbladed by her a couple years ago, each brow had a completely different shape and did not match whatsoever. I emailed Whitney not long after voicing my concern and she was convinced that it's not what they looked liked when I left the studio (which it most definitely did as soon as she finished). She also continued to say it was because my face is uneven, it was harder to replicate each brow. You would think she's dealt with this before and it shouldn't be a problem. Fast forward a couple years later, I have scarring on my left brow from the deep cuts and have gotten a cover up from a different artist. Whitney, the Owner, Artist & trainer, who loves to consider herself "the brow queen" is so far from it. I have never gotten any kind of microblading done until I saw her for the first time last week and she completely took my identity away from me by completely botching my eyebrows. I showed her pictures of what I envisioned my brows to look like and she was adamant she can make them look exactly like it. The whole process was a f*cking NIGHTMARE! She was cutting in sooo deep into my skin, adding extra cuts under my brows in places that I normally do not grow natural brow hairs. It was so painful that I was literally shaking! She continued to lacerate and cut deep into the wings of my brow over and over to the point I was bleeding so much, it stung the entire night! Whitney CANNOT BE TRUSTED! Before I left, she kept saying over and over that my eyebrows were "bomb" and she wished she had eyebrows like mine. I knew that was a complete lie simply because after seeing them in the mirror, I was so livid and unsatisfied, I just wanted to get out of there. She had a really weird vibe to her and I felt her excitement for me was flat out fake! I ended up texting her that night expressing my concern about how deep she cut me and right away she was so offended. She was rude and so unprofessional about how she handled the situation and I was so thrown off by her bad attitude that I did not feel it was necessary to text her back. I am 34 weeks pregnant and she knew I was getting ready to have my maternity shoot the following week, which sadly I had to cancel. Instead of me getting ready for one of the most memorable times of my life, I have been so depressed and embarrassed to be seen by anyone and cancel all future plans. It's been over a year and a half since my eyebrows got butchered by Whitney. Seriously the biggest mistake and I do not recommend going to her. I've heard from another artist that clients are coming in for corrections after seeing Whitney. Remember this is a tattoo on your face and can seriously ruin your look if you go to the wrong artist. I absolutely love my results- thanks Whitney! I had my eyebrows done in January 2018 by a different artist, and then unfortunately came across Whitney on IG about a week after my appointment. I was so bummed! So, I came to Whitney this past March as a cover-up appointment with quite a bit of deep scarring on my left brow. She definitely does a great job with choosing a natural shape and look. I'm not a huge "bold brow" person, so we toned them down a bit from her initial markings, but they're absolutely perfect now after my recent touch-up appointment. THIS. IS. A. PROCESS. Having done this before, I knew that my brows would immediately be super dark and bold. Whitney reminded me that they would lighten up and the lines would shrink a little bit. While I believed her, I left my appointment kind of shocked and a little stressed about how bold my brows were. But what happened over the next two weeks? They lightened up and shrunk. And then during my touch-up appointment, she went back in and filled in the spots that needed additional strokes. The color did not match well either, and it looked extremely fake and overdone. It's been almost year and a half and I recently went to another consultation for a touch up and they told me I couldn't due to my previous work...due to the fading and leakage from the lines that make the area appear grey. I was not happy with my results, and didn't really get what I wanted...it hurt more than before seeing I've only had Microblading done only once before, and bled more, I should not have to go to a Lazer removal place just to undo this damage and then pay ontop to get my brows redone. She has great bubbly personality and great convo....but for the price of $600 + 20% tip....I've been walking around with crooked uneven brows for almost 2 years and when other girls notice it too....that's when I knew forsure and got even more self conscious and literally filled in my eyebrows everyday still after to even the ends out on the inner and outer corners which are both not even....smh. DO not trust her with your microblading your eyebrows!! I promise you it's not worth it. I'm really sad to have to give this review as I like Whitney but because I'm scarred in multiple places I feel compelled to warn others. I'm also saddened that upon confronting her, she took no responsibility, wasn't remorseful & wouldn't offer a refund. I've never been happier with my brows -- and I've had them microbladed three times prior to Browhemian. But I saw a girlfriend with fab freshly bladed brows who had gone to Whitney and immediately made an appointment. There are a lot of people who can do brows, but Whitney stood out in several areas. First, she took so much time to discuss the right shape and placement, not just upfront but throughout the appointment. I stood up multiple times for her to look closely and me to inspect closely, discuss, measure and balance. I've never had another artist show so much attention to detail and perfection. I am a stickler when it comes to my brows (I've only been manicuring and perfecting them for 25 years!) but she saw things so slight that I didn't even notice. I really appreciated that there was no big ta-dah at the end where I got handed a mirror and needed to decide how I felt about them in an instant. I got to look and check several times throughout the work and we evaluated together where we might need little tweaks. No rush. Second, she has the best "bedside manner" that I've encountered yet. She heard me out on what I wanted and where I'd been unhappy with previous work, and asked if I was open to some suggestions. Previous artists have listened, outlined them and then gave me a totally different brow, or debated with me in a way that made me feel invalidated and unheard. She ultimately gently nudged me into getting brows much fuller than I would have conceived for myself. She explained her thinking and I completely trusted her instincts on the best brow shape for my face, and I'm so glad I did because they look amazing. In total, she did like 300 hair strokes per eye. Finally, the healing process was flawless. I've had thick scabs before that, as they flaked off, made me look ridiculous like I had dirt in my brows, or had brows totally disappear and look funky for weeks later from the pigment placed too far beneath the surface. These looked fabulous from the time I walked out of my first appointment. Now I understand why she's booked out months ahead. She's the best. I'll never go to anyone else for my brows. Updating this review to one star. While Whitney is nice, I have to live with this on my face, not her. She kept trying to pressure me to have them MORE thick and that's simply not what I wanted. The brows are SO FAR off my regular brow line that I have to use makeup to cover this up on a regular basis. If you don't think you'll be able to do a person's permanent makeup well, just say that. **This is about to be a really long post-- so TLDR; I'm more than happy with my results (brows and liner)** I am not a huge or active yelper/social media person but Whitney's work deserves for people to know how well-executed, talented, and confident she makes people feel. I read some reviews below and wanted to also point out-- nobody asked me to write some glowing review, I just really like my results! So with that said: I've gotten my eyebrows microbladed with one of Whitney's students under her supervision, I've gotten my touch up with her, and now I got my stardust liner (permanent make up tattoo eyeliner) done with Browhemian as well. I'm PICKY. I do my homework and research for artists. I read reviews, look at tagged pictures, prices, client selfies, touch ups vs initial, how permanent make up heals over time, really EVERYTHING possible to build constructs and supplement knowledge to make the best decision. I'm probably too analytical to be honest as it took me months to choose an artist. With all that said, here are a few caveats about me, my skin, my research, etc that affected my personal results: -I have never had any previous permanent make up done so no cover up work necessary -I don't have particularly dry or oily skin/my skin is pretty robust -I DO have scar tissue from chicken pox when I was little -I am Asian so my hair is black and a little thicker -I did a lot of research on artists (and everyone has their own style) and personally Whitney's style of brow and liner fits what I look for--fluffy, natural, but still feminine and shaped-- think Free People brows or a cool girl chic look. -I brought in inspiration photos from both her past work and other artist work I really admired and had a sit down consultation before hand where she was clear and set expectations Whitney checked in and walked me through the process every step of the way. She has a really gentle hand so it really wasn't painful (and I have a low pain tolerance). For my brows-- she also at touch up made my tails longer and added fluff after I decided I wanted a little bit of a bolder look and was happy to listen to almost another "consultation" and continue to refine to make me happy. For my liner--I was nervous to get liner tattooed to be honest because it's like a millimeter from my eye AND if it's not done delicately or well, it looks like it's done in poor taste but she made it so thin, precise, understated and crisp you really can't tell I have anything at all but it makes my eyes pop more. I now can work out every day or even have a lazier day at work with just some CC cream and feel polished and beautiful. If you're contemplating brows or liner--do it. Poor customer service. She rescheduled on me for my initial appt, if I were to reschedule I would be charged.. and that's exactly what she tried doing to me for my "free" touchup. VERY poorly done, uneven brows. Apparently if you need to reschedule your 6-8 week touch up, she'll charge you. After already paying for one of the most expensive microbladers in the area I had to reschedule mine, and since she is "SO" booked, was seen for my touch up a ways past the 8 week mark (the only next available open time slot). When I walked in she tried charging me $300, then knocked it down to $200 like she was doing me a favor. I was utterly confused she tried charging me at all in person. She could have relayed this to me via email/phone/any other way! Instead of waiting until I planned my day around going into her office just to walk right back out. read more

I just finished my appointment and I'm very happy with Browhemian's job. I found her through Instagram and she's so nice and honest. She did explain that the areas where I have scar tissue might not look exactly like I would have expected, none the less I'm very happy with the outcome. She understood my vision right away. I had microblading done for cheaper 2 years ago and was not happy at all because of the bad shape and wrong color matching. Will come back here for my retouch and future appointments. read more
