My rainbow tattoo she drew by hand without an outline, and it turned out great. Came in all nervous with the worst font (thought it was cool) and Amanda was real and told me it wasn't the right vibe. Extremely disappointed with my experience at You Are Youthful. After months of research, I decided to book with You Are Youthful. I was really looking forward to my tattoo service with Amanda as well as supporting a small business. I booked well in advance and was subsequently rescheduled by You Are Youthful 4 different times over the span of 3 weeks. Today I received another request to reschedule my appointment and was forced to cancel at this point. I totally understand personal things come up, but wish You Are Youthful was more transparent about their current situation, as opposed to pushing out my appointment and rescheduling me 4 different times. If there was any uncertainty with their schedule, this should've been communicated and they shouldn't have continually rescheduled me. Meanwhile their instagram is being updated daily with new tattoo work. While this may have been completed previous to my appointments, it gives the appearance that other appointments are being honored while mine is repeatedly being rescheduled. Feels somewhat personal at this point and as if they're purposely wanting me to cancel my appointment. I intended to get tattooed before summer pool days to have adequate time to heal, but this will now be impossible due to this experience. They are refunding my deposit, but this has been a disappointing experience to say the least :( I have cancelled all upcoming appointments/services I have booked with them. *UPDATE* I've received texts from You Are Youthful threatening to report and take down my review. I've since added pictures supporting the 4 rescheduled appointments across the span of 3 weeks (April 14th - May 1st). I'm once again disappointed, instead of taking responsibility and working to resolve the issue, there is deflection and a total lack of accountability. I'm frustrated I've had to leave a negative review, but have been forced due to my experience. I hope they're able to use my comments to improve. read more
