Craving a GOOD sandwich? Brown bag deli has what you need. Im a big fan of the pastrami (see picture) and the Cuban. I usually eat at the deli it has a cool vibe, you pick where you sit and they bring out the food after you order at the front. Big pickle fan I like how they give you the whole thing(pause) instead of that half slice or quarter piece. Good portions and it even got to me warm after I door dashed it. Their California Club is a wonderful selection. I got mine in a spinach wrap which is what I recommend compared to on bread. The guy at the register helped alot with what to order and was very patient with us.For the soup of that day, there was a chili option and it was so good. It came with two crackers and the chili had nice plump beans in it. The dining area was peaceful and had SpongeBob playing which I thoroughly enjoyed watching while waiting for my order. I've been coming to this place for a while now, and the food is typical of your average deli/sandwich shop. The area doesn't have the best quick-eating options, so we find ourselves here frequently. While the food is consistent, the service is questionable. While the young staff are fine and do the job, the owner (wife, I believe) are not the friendliest. I noticed the sign telling you that you that guests only have an hour or something max to eat, and all around, you'll see these off-putting signs not to do this or that. You can see that the owners will take their time with some guests and be pleasant, but will not give the same service to myself, or others, whenever I visited. Even so, it was never bad enough that I wouldn't visit back, especially since we live so close to the area. However, this last visit will be the last. I came in with my kids during a slow weekday lunch, and while hurrying to order and eat since we only had 30 minutes or so until they closed, my kids were deciding on what to drink for their meal. At the counter, my son got one drink and realized, last minute, that the type of drink he chose was an "upgrade" so he rushed back to grab the kids drinks included in their kids meal. I didn't realize that I got charged $3.99 for the original drink still. I sat down with my kids and began to eat. The owner drops off our meal and looks strangely, picking up our drinks, looking for something. You could see her point to something and counting with her finger how many drinks we had, literally looking under the table. All the while, not saying anything, so I'm very confused. She finally says, there should be 4 drinks since she saw us with 4 at the counter. I told her that my son switched out the drink at the end, and that we only purchased 3. She said she saw my son with the upgraded drink at the counter. She just kind of brushes it off and leaves without apologizing for the misunderstanding, as if she didn't just accuse my kid of stealing a drink. After the strange encounter, I looked at my receipt, and sure enough, noticed that I got charged for the upgraded drink still, when I shouldn't have been charged to begin with since he swapped it out for the kids drink (which the girl at the register saw). Anyway, the whole encounter was weird as hell, and it's always the same owner that ruins the experience when we're there. I didn't go back to the register to get a refund for the drink we mistakenly got charged for, but man, no way to be running a small town shop with regular customers. read more

I was in the store about a few weeks ago, i had a lovely young lady greet me with a smile and hello and began taking my order- she accidentally had two cups stuck together she gave me and explain that and i ended up paying but her boss employee who i heard was named Rita began to degrade and scream at her and proceed to make me feel extremely uncomfortable with how she was speaking to someone who looked no more than 18 i will NEVER spend miney here again and make sure my family and friends knows how they treat empl and customers alike. I am APPALED!!!!! DONT GO HERE!!! This place has been a staple in the downtown Suwanee area for a couple years now. One of the best for sandwiches, wraps and such. We come here once every couple of weeks for some good sandwiches and such. Last order I had the Big Brown Club on a wrap, and that was really good. My friends enjoyed their Vegi Slams, and italian Subs, all really good. Sides are pretty good as well. I normally do the potato salad, or pickles, but you can't go wrong with either. Eh , wasn't really a fan. The food was very bland. I ordered an everything bagel with spinach , cheese & egg. It wasn't the worst , but I wish it would've had some type of butter or cream cheese on it because even with the cheese on it, it was dry. The bagel also didn't really taste like an everything bagel to me , it tasted like it had rye seeds on it (which I hate). The place and location was nice so I was able to walk across the lot and eat outside in the park area & it was a beautiful day that day. I ordered my son a turkey & cheese kids meal. We had a wonderful experience here. We aren't over in the area too often but stopped by because we were craving salads and sandwiches! This place was so cute and I was amazed by the variety. There is something for everyone here, and the salads and sandwiches have many flavors (for vegetarians and meat lovers). I loved that they sell a wide variety of beverages (including alcoholic ones) and the location is right across from a park so it would be great to go back when it's warmer and maybe take it to go. Both the sandwich and potato salad we're fine, but nothing noteworthy. However, the multi grain bread for the sandwich, which was slightly toasted, was outstanding. I would certainly return to try another offering, maybe a hot sandwich the next time. The speed of service was definitely something to be admired. I had my sandwich within 2-3 minutes after ordering and noticed that the other customers were getting the same speed on their orders. This was during lunchtime on a Thursday. They have a number of bottled beverages to choose from (water, soda, juice, tea) and also alcoholic beverages including bottled and canned beer and cheap wine. We have come here several times now to get a sandwich and sit outside with our dog and people watch . Nice family running a great sandwich shop and we often get the Reuben with a big pickle , chips and a drink and it's a great combo! Many sandwiches and meats to choose from, outdoor and indoor seating, right on the sidewalk by he amphitheater area and park. This is my go to spot for Bagels in the Suwanee area. Located in the fun and friendly Suwanee Town Center, Brown Bag will serve your breakfast needs. Recently I have been coming here weekly to pick up my household supply of bagels. They have a variety of maybe 5 to choose from. They are freshly delivered from a bakery on M/W/F so I make sure to stop by on one of those days. As recommended, they stay fresh throughout the week so long as you refrigerate at home. My go to are the Everything and Sesame Bagels. So far the tastiest bagels I've had in Gwinnett. They have a really nice breakfast sandwich menu as well an array of sweet pastries and beverages to choose from. They also have gone around & told all their customers not to throw away ice cream in the outdoor trash (that they left out & uncovered) because it attracts flies (I guess food scraps don't do that.. just ice cream? Especially ice cream from the Rita's next door?). I would never have guessed they cared because I haven't seen them sanitize the tables & seating area once. I'm at a loss why this place is rated at 3 stars....I had to dig down in the reviews, and it looks like people are saying the sandwiches aren't big enough?!? Not sure what they're looking for, but Brown Bag's sandwiches are typi deli size and they pack them full of meat. Many times I'm not able to finish my entire sandwich. I've come here tons of times, and have been satisfied every time. Their menu is huge and they have a really wide variety of sandwiches, soups, & salads. I've tried quite a few different sandwiches and have always been pleased with my choices. Their service is quick, and the dining area is a very laid back area to have some lunch and chill. They always have good music playing and the people are quite friendly. The food is great, and they have lots of veggie options. However I went in today,and ordered the egg salad wrap. I get to eating my food and there's a hair tucked in under the wrap (a pretty long piece of hair) I go back in to inform them of my wrap and the hair. The manager never came out an apologized or anything. By the way she was the one who originally handed me my food and was standing at the kitchen door when I disclosed to the cashier about the hair in my food. To me when something like that happens a manager should come out and apologize on behalf of the cook or whomever it may be. I decided I wanted to spend sometime outside today so I drove up to Suwanee Town Center. I knew I could get something to eat and remain socially distant at the park across the street. I had no idea what I wanted when I got there but I knew I would have options. Brown Bag Deli caught my eye and I've never noticed it before so I went with them. Idk how long they've been in that location but I love sandwiches and salads so I gave them a try. They were delicious and I love how many different options I had as far as sweets, sides, even drinks. Brown Bag has become a local favorite for me. This place is located in the beautiful Suwanee park with lovely scenery. They provide what I believe to be quality meals for an affordable price. This place is wonderful to catch up with friends, hang out with the family, or go on a date. I take my middle school bible study group to Brown Bag once a month because they love it so much! They love the chance to go out to the park and eat good food at the same time. From personal experience and the feedback of my middle schoolers, I recommend the Rajun Cajun. Although it's pricey, they have a wide selection of beverages that include beers to wine. Awesome little spot in Town Center. Lots of variety in soups, sandwiches and everything else. My boss and I ventured in for lunch one day - I was surprised it was that good. Prices are average for the area and good for the quality. Seating area was good - if the weather is nice, you can even sit outside and watch the world go by.
