This place has a nice and welcoming atmosphere. You are surrounded by books all around and there are several sub-sections that 'if you are lucky' offer semi-private seating. However, it is hard to call here a coffee shop. Yes there is coffee but sides are extremely limited. You can only have cinnamon roles or things like that with your coffee. No refills on coffee and prices are on the more expensive side. read more

For a student of any kind...this place is a gem! Stand aside Barnes and Nobles...this is the place to be for some good coffee and smart people ambiance. I highly recommend the Caramello...especially if you love Carmel. If you are a coffee snob you'll be glad to know that they serve Ceremony Coffee and have the various Coffee brewing methods available. They have sandwhiches from Bread and Butter. As someone who is familiar with a Banh Mi sandwich...i was skeptical of a Turkey Banh Mi wrap...but I wa pleasantly surprised! It was very good and had the Banh Mi flavors without the Banh Mi French Bread. I'm impressed. They share a space with a book store which helps with the ambiance. There is a lower level and a street level. The spiral staircase is so cool, i totally want one in my house! The lower level is where you want to be for peace and quiet. The upper level seems to be where the chatty Kathys are. I got so much work done here I need to start planning to do my papers here. Patking out in front is meter parking, however the Noah Hillman Garage on Main Street is a short walk. If I can trek it from that garage with text books so can you! Its worth it! I went to this coffee shop last weekend to test out local coffee shops, and it was beautiful. It has plenty of seating (indoors, outdoors, basement) and it also has a bookstore, allowing you to read anything while enjoying a cup. They have a lot of drink options as well, including different flavors and types of milk. There were even two guys playing live music when I went and it had a great vibe with plenty of entertainment. The staff there is also very friendly and makes sure you have a good experience. This is definitely my coffee destination for a drink next time that I'm in Annapolis. Baristas and book clerk were lovely and my singular complaint is that the coffee shop used Morin chocolate syrup for their mochas. I came here to work over the holiday weekend one evening and it is very cute and very quaint. The coffee shop is in the back of the bookstore, I should've read the reviews first because I walked past it a few times. It was busy, with lots if students and families, but the staff were very friendly and cordial. I ordered a reishi chai latte with oat milk (M) and used my 10% yelp check in offer. The chai was tasty but the reishi flavor did not really come through, which I was hoping for. I will def have to try their coffee next time, but for those of you lactose intolerant folks, please note, it's an EXPENSIVE change to a non-cow milk! Mine was $2 for a medium! The up charge is ridiculous and it's regardless of the type of alternative you get (almond, soy, oat), so that's really the only reason they get 4 stars. Disabled friends: It looked like there is a ramped entrance in the back, but I have no idea what street/alley to enter from, and the front entrance has two steep steps as you enter the bookstore, so it's not very accessible since I can't confirm if a ramp exists or not. read more

Instead it provides a rich, smooth flavor that provides an excellent accompaniment for one of their many pastries. (I recommend the chocolate glazed donut!) Can't find a cuter bookshop and coffee shop combo in Annapolis. It's tucked just a five-minute walk away from the busier harbor area, so it's very convenient but lower key. The book selection is adequate, and there are several comfy armchairs besides one long table and a few two-person cafe tables. The barista was pretty nice, and the prices seemed reasonable. I heard some locals talking who said this was their favorite coffee shop around. Take a break from sightseeing and/or walking to enjoy coffee and a good read in the same spot. read more

There are several things I love about this coffee shop. They have great cold brew coffee! It has good flavor and isn't overly acidic. Customer service is always top notch too. I enjoy the fact that it's in a small bookstore. It makes it a nice place to come sit and enjoy a book with your coffee. The not so great part is that the bookstore is small so if you have small kids it can be kinda difficult to maneuver. They do have a kids book section with some chairs if you have a little bit older kiddos. If your having a hard time finding this place it's probably because they don't have easily visible signage and they don't always have it out either. So look for the Old Fox Bookshop, it's in the back of the bookstore. But it's worth finding if you enjoy coffee or reading. They have some wraps and other food as well but I have yet to try it. There isn't a clear food menu and it always seems a little hectic to me. So I stick with coffee and a muffin. read more

Brown Mustache Coffee is located on the main level in the back -- Fabulous cafe atmosphere surrounded by books. I've not been in to grab tea or coffee when it wasn't busy. Always a stream of customers lined up for a cup of coffee. The large table upstairs is a super great place to do work. Or sit in the comfy chairs by the fire place to read a novel instead. There are tables and chairs in the lower level -- always quiet place to study or work while drinking coffee (or tea). This spot has become my weekly ritual......my addiction! read more
