OMG DELICIOUS!! First time at Browns Backyard BBQ and it is delicious! I got to try several samples of brisket and sausage...it made it harder to decide! Everything is delicious! The owners are super nice and friendly. They shared that they have been in this location for two years. They also explained their process of BBQing and they are right on the money! It is a very small place - at least for seating. They only have two picnic tables outside. The only downfall as I can see. I ordered the two meat platter, chopped brisket and pork ribs with mac-n-cheese and baked beans with meat. Everything has such flavor. I forgot to grab some sauce, but it really didn't need it or maybe the sauce knocks it out of the park....i also ordered the peach cobbler- wonderful! I will definitely be back! we've been several times. The first time everyone was nice! They gave us samples of stuff before we picked what we wanted. I spend over $50 and left a tip. now when we returned, we kept getting skipped over in the line when they was were taking the orders. they asked who was getting a loaded potato I and few other other people raised our hand. the man immediately looked over us and began helping the people behind us. this was twice ! the other 2 times we went they ran out of food within the first 1 hour of them being open. the sides are watery and the bbq is good. but being skipped over while receiving service is completely unacceptable. we can literally make the same thing at home .......... if you don't want to help everyone maybe stay in the back to help. read more

Listen. The star of any BBQ spot is the meat and this place HANDS DOWN!!! Will give your favorite spot a run for the money regardless of where you're from. I'll willing to bet on these folks. My only real complaint is that they aren't available in more areas. That should speak to the quality of the meals they provide. Shoot my family and I come here almost faithfully to satisfy our taste. To celebrate my birthday, I was looking forward to some good BBQ! The Customer Service is FANTASTIC!!! With that said, I was disappointed they were out of hot links, collard greens, so I opted for brisket (very little was left) and green beans, and was asked if I was ok with potatoes and bacon in the green beans, and I replied that it was fine. I was asked twice if I wanted bread or cornbread and replied with cornbread, only to receive white bread. The brisket had a nice smoky flavor; however, it was a little too fatty for me. The greens were good, but a little too salty with the bacon (I didn't realize there would be a lot of bacon in it). :) The Mac-n-Cheese was ok (I liked the spiciness of it). I chose a lemonade that was ok, and for dessert I had Peach Cobbler that was yummy (that could be pre-diabetic voice speaking). LOL Maybe it was the time I arrived, which was about 3:00 pm, or should I call first? Anyway... I'll give it another try in the future. :) read more

When they say backyard barbecue man let me tell you they make you feel like family so welcoming and friendly and then the food. The ribs are fall off the bone I couldn't stop thinking about them. The chicken and brisket has so much flavor and was moist. The side we have loved everything we tried. I didn't take a picture but banana pudding was delicious. The drinks were nice and refreshing. That showed me that it had to be awesome. I ended up getting the baby back ribs which were really good. I also got 2 sides and they were phenomenal. I get the collard greens and charro beans. It's been over 24 hours since I ate there and I'm still thinking about how good it was. The people there were also great. Very nice & accommodating. If I had any complaints about my visit it would be that there really isn't seating inside to speak of but I can't wait to go back. I want some brisket! I do love me some BBQ and Browns was nearby and I had never been. I had a 2 meet plate with sliced brisket (moist and fatty) and jalapeño cheese sausage and it did not disappoint ($20 !!) ! Big portions and filled the 2 of us that split the plate. The green beans and mac and cheese were also very good. I typically arrive before opening to sit and observe. Not only does the owners throw down on the Q, they are productive people who service the community in more ways than just BBQ. It's refreshing to see genuinely good hearted people. Their hours are 12p-6p, but if the food is prepared and ready before opening, they will welcome you in. Why wait on the wait in the goodness of grub? Their food is always hot and fresh. Newcomers can sample the meats and desserts. You'll want everything and the decisions will be hard to make. I'm a two meater...ribs and pork sausage plate. $20 w/two sides, bread or cornbread. Of course, there is a variety of menu items available. But I like what I like. Very nice people but bbq is overrated. Brisket wasn't prime and was tough and overcooked. Jalapeño cheddar sausage was excellent. Sides were average at best. I devoured the sausage but only ate a half piece of the brisket. I can't recommend it if you are looking for an authentic Texas barbecue experience.
