Had a terrible experience here. I got my car back and the work they did was horrible( missed dents, misaligned hood, fisheyes in the paint), when i asked them to fix it they told me it wasnt their problem and i would have to deal with it. I had to get my insurance company to force them to fix it and they sent it to the shop in columbia to fix it correctly. This whole ordeal lasted almost 2.5 months. Brown's has been fabulous! They were so good about everything, fast, my car looks new, and they even cleaned the interior-- believe me when I say that was at least worth $200. Last, everyone I had contact with was professional, pleasant, kind, and definitely treated me as if I was their number one and only customer. I've taken a few different cars here over the years (no fault of my own!) and they do a stellar job!! They'll set an appointment and tell you when they can work on your car and when to come pick it up and they've ALWAYS been on the money. I have an eagle eye when it comes to orange peel, dings or seams not lining up and have been 100% satisfied with their work. I want to thank the NEW MANAGEMENT for not only listening but addressing a wrong. They made it 100% right. GO HERE!! Prior to new management, I had an awful experience. I had hit a deer in the early Spring of 2024. I had issues not only with non-existent communication and the worst customer service, but excessive delays, unending excuses, and poor workmanship. I had to keep bringing it back as the bumper kept popping. The entire process took over 10 months and my bumper was still not right. I finally gave up and walked away without even an apology for the 10 month wait, swearing I would never go back. Then my hood paint job started to peel. I honestly did not think that when I went back to express my dissatisfaction that I would be heard, or that the issues would be addressed. Fast forward to early Fall of 2025. Robbie, the new manager came out to look at my car. He saw right away that it was wrong. He promised to fix the bumper, repaint the hood and even replace the foggy headlight. Not only that, but I needed a loaner car which was provided at zero cost to me. The work was done quickly and properly. The service desk staff were congenial and helpful. I can't say enough about the polar opposite experience. I would definitely return for future needs now. Robbie and his crew are a huge improvement. read more

I want to preface this review with the fact that prior to today, I was a long time advocate and happy customer of Brown's Body Shop in Franklin, TN. My family and I have used Brown's for collision repair on all of our vehicles since the late 90's (Well over 6 cars). I will also preface this with the fact that I have a very detailed eye. It is hard sometimes to distinguish a below average repair vs a proper one. ~3 years ago, I brought my Range Rover Sport to Brown's to have a few panels repainted due to road rash and other paint chips. Based on my experience, I had no reason to believe that the repair would not be as good as the ones before it. Unfortunately, there were multiple over sprays on glass, plastic and rubber in addition to a couple runs in the paint. I showed the issues to the shop manager (will remain nameless) and he agreed to repaint and fix the issues. Upon my second visit, to my surprise there were still runs in the paint.... I got the owner involved and she apologized over and over and said they would make it right. They did.... To my delight... make it right! After that event I made sure I recommended anyone that needed repairs to Brown's. In a world where perfection doesn't exist and humans make mistakes.... it is nice to know that there are companies in the world that will do their best to make it right. Fast forward to this past year, my in-laws hit a deer in their Lexus. Of course, I recommended Brown's and I went down to the shop with my father in-law to review the repair with him. There were many issues... over spray... new bumper not gapped (the fit) correctly and the paint being mismatched on the panels they painted vs the rest of the car. Granted, it is a 2014 and paint fades... it is very hard to match sometimes. Nonetheless, they agreed to make it right. And they did! If you're keeping track, that's two cars and 3 "redo's": 2 on the Range Rover and 1 on the Lexus (that wasn't even my car). Today, I brought my Audi Q7 in to Brown's to get an estimate from some car wash damage this past week and I was informed by the owner that Brown's body shop had decided they would no longer do business with me. I was absolutely floored. In fact, I poked the owners shoulder and laughed, to which she said "i'm serious". I'm not angry, i'm honestly hurt. I had built what seemed like a friendship with this shop and a few of their staff. A 22+ year and 10+ car relationship severed because of their own mistakes, which in the end they made right multiple times. Will Brown's do a great job in the end for your car? Yes. They will also fix their mistakes.... Until it becomes too costly for them. It is very unfortunate that due to their own mistakes they have decided not to do business with me again. We moved our 2014 Ford Fiesta to Brown's after another shop wanted to take the roof off to repair damage to the rear wheel well/fender. Brown's kept us informed, worked with us while we dealt with a difficult insurance company (their customer, a local electric cooperative, had admitted fault), and delivered a car that looked as good as or better than before the damage. They did a great job on my car's bumper repair. They allowed me to purchase / bring in a used part which saved me a bunch of money and they did the install & paint. They also washed and cleaned the inside of my car - I'm not sure if that is always done, but it was greatly appreciated. read more

Only because zero stars was not an option. I was called on Tue to tell me my car was ready so 24 hours later, on Wed, I went to pick up my car. It was sitting up front (dirty) and the first thing I noticed was the front end (the piece that should have been repaired) was loose and coming away from the fender (about 1/2 inch). If I saw this, and they are auto body specialist with 40 years experience, how did they miss it? I entered the business and told them I was here to pick up my car but had noticed a small issue. With no explanation the car was pulled back in the shop - My wife asked what was wrong and I told her "It looks like the front end is falling off so I guess they are taking it back to fix it - also, it is filthy" It was then that the owner (Woman) came out of an office and laid into me, told me the "heat" made my front end come loose. I guess she thought I was stupid - I even asked her if I looked stupid, but she would not answer me. After waiting 30 minutes (ish) my car was back together, I paid, and told them that The work looked fine but I could not, in good conscious, recommend that anyone use them. Her response, "I wouldn't want to work with anyone you recommended. So, if you want your car sort of fixed, returned to you dirty and, to ice the cake, have the owner yell at you because you are not satisfied with their work then by all means got to Brown's. Otherwise - There are many other good shops in the area. read more

I cannot say enough about the service and friendliness of the people I interacted with at Browns. I showed up one morning needing to get something done quickly to one of our vehicles as part of a surprise gift for my husbands 50th birthday and they were more than willing to help me. They got it done quickly and exactly what I needed and I was on my way. I had stopped at another local body shop that was not able to help due to their workload and I know Browns had as many commitments for that day but they made it happen. Thanks Browns team!! read more
