On June 18, 2024, I brought my 2012 Infiniti G37 to Morris Automotive after noticing a puddle of coolant under the car overnight. The vehicle is garage kept and not a daily driver. I also detected the smell of coolant. After inspection, Morris Automotive determined that the heater hose and heater pipe assembly needed replacement. The total cost for this repair was $898.22. In early August 2025, the vehicle began emitting smoke, accompanied by the smell of coolant. I contacted Nick at Morris Automotive, who confirmed that the repair was just outside the warranty period but advised me to bring the car in for inspection. Following their evaluation, Nick informed me that the heater hose connector had come off and would need to be replaced, along with another coolant flush, bringing the total cost to $440.89. A few weeks later, we again noticed the smell of coolant and visible coolant under the car. At this point, the issue was still within the warranty period, so we contacted Morris Automotive to report that the coolant leak had returned. By this time, we had spent nearly $1,200 on the repair, yet the problem persisted. Around September 11, 2025, we reached out to Morris Automotive again to report continued evidence of a coolant leak related to the same area previously repaired. Nick advised us to bring the vehicle back in, assuring us they would "make it right" and we would not have to pay for the repair. After inspecting the car, he initially claimed they were unable to find a leak, but later called back to say they did locate a small leak. However, he stated that it would require additional payment to fix. Frustrated, we took the vehicle home, and parked it back in the garage. On September 24, 2025, we returned to Morris Automotive and spoke again with Nick, who this time assured us they would handle the repair at no charge, acknowledging the repeated nature of the issue. However, on September 25, 2025, Nick contacted us to inform that the vehicle was ready--but the repair bill totaled $228.25. We paid it, hoping this would finally resolve the issue. According to the receipts, Morris Automotive has now replaced the heater hose, heater pipe assembly (dealer-only part), heater hose connector, and rear coolant hose--yet the vehicle continues to leak coolant. To date, we have spent $1,567.36 on this ongoing issue without a successful resolution. Although this matter remains within the warranty period, I hesitate to return the vehicle to Morris Automotive due to inconsistent communication and handling. One day, I am assured the repair will be taken care of at the shop's expense; the next, I am told that while I won't be charged the full price, I still owe a portion of the cost. This inconsistency has made it difficult to maintain confidence in the repair process. read more

This is my second review for this company, my 1st one wasn't very flattering . I decided to take that down due to the fact of a misunderstanding by both parties. I was able to speak to one of the owners ( which I should have done first) and SHE was able to resolve the issue. This shop is exactly what I was hoping it was going to be....a family. They definitely care about their customers and want their customers to leave happy, so they will come back and bring their friends and family. I will be doing that. I have never had a company act so fast about a complaint. They did an amazing job with my daughters car and it runs like a dream. The service requested by me was for them to take a look at my transmission since I was getting an on my dash, check engine light was on, and worst of all I had no ability to drive ( the RPMs would increase but I could not move at all ). I took it to these guys since I broke down in LaVergne. The popped the hood smelled burning transmission fluid. I told them there was a leak then they confirmed. Then immediately quoted me either $5500 for a used transmission with 43,000 miles on it or $6,500 for a new one. My car was still in the parking lot. They did not even consider any other options. I rolled the car over to Hugo's Tire shop down the street. They diagnosed the leak was from a loose sensor. So they replaced the sensor and added new transmission fluid. No leaks and transmission fluid for $250.00. I've driven the car for an additional 2,000 miles since with no issues. Please do not spend your money with Morris Automotive. read more

Fast and friendly good quality of work and I would and will recommend morris automotive to all my family and friends

I took my car there on a referral for a coolant thermostat engine code. They got it done in less than a day and I could pick it up same day which was nice. Shortly after, I smelled a lot of coolant, very strong, and even noticed pooling coolant in the garage. Yikes. Called them and they said if it was from their job they'd fix it for free. I drove all the way out there again and this time waited in the lobby. They said they had pinched the gasket which caused the leak and they did not bill me which was great! It still smells of coolant after20+ min drives and it did not before, so I still don't really know if they fixed one thing and broke another or what. I'm monitoring coolant level and watching for coolant anywhere in the engine bay or floor. If it needs servicing, I'm afraid I'd have to take it to a different shop next time. I just can't take the chance anymore. It's a pretty straightforward job, less than $200, so there shouldn't be a ton of variables with it. I also spoke with Bobby (manager or owner) and I got a very genuine/trustworthy vibe from him, but I think the company needs some better tech talent for me to ever take my car back there again. read more
