He discovered both clips had broken. But the window wasn't. He was prepared and brought a window with him to replace ours. As it was, someone had put the wrong window into the right box. Then Austin did something we never would have expected, he traveled 45 miles to get the right one. He kept in touch, off and on. Within one day, he came back and installed it. He also went above and beyond, and cleaned the window. All of this only cost us $280.30. Glass Advantage didn't call us until the next day and quoted us $300 and something. If we ever need a window replaced again, we're calling Austin as he gave us his business card. Not only did we appreciate his fast service, but that he was very personable with us old folks.

They also walked me through backup options in case my insurance didn't approve OEM, which I really appreciated. No pressure, just honest and knowledgeable guidance. Communication throughout the process was outstanding. I was kept informed and updated the whole time, which made the experience stress free. What truly impressed me were the finishing touches. After completing the job, they vacuumed the interior and cleaned all the glass, leaving my car looking better than before. That level of care speaks volumes about their professionalism. Came back and I see scratches below where the widow was replaced and the job just looks poorly done. I mentioned it to the ignorant guy behind the desk and he told me my car had plenty of scratches and dents prior to me dropping it off. I said definitely not the car gets detailed and well taken care of. He walked to the opposite side of the car expecting to see scratches where there was not and then walked inside looking silly. 30 seconds later he tells me it is because the glass is shattered so it fell all over my vehicle when they removed it resulting in the scratches. I asked so there is no way to prep a vehicle to prevent any paint damage and he said NO. That made no sense. Very contradicting and will not bring my car back. Going to contact Safelite directly for reimbursement. I was better off doing the job in my backyard and covering the car with a towel or tape to prevent damage. I should be reimbursed for the damage.

They are a smaller shop than some others around me and the owner (Jason) said he'll order the tires and have them by 10 a.m. the next day. The following day, I arrived at 10 a.m. and as promised, the tires were waiting. They got me into the shop right away and performed the required work. The guys in the shop definitely knew what they were doing, which isn't always the case when you take your car to bigger, chain store tire shops. So I was very satisfied with the price, quality of work and the minimal time and effort spent there getting the work done. Additionally, as luck would have it, I must have ran over a screw the following day which caused one of the tires to have a slow leak. I returned to the shop and just wanted to get the tire plugged. I know it only costs a few bucks, but when I explained to Jason (the owner) what happened, he wouldn't take any money from me. Like I said, it only costs a few bucks, but that kind gesture goes a very long way with customers these days. As far as I'm concerned, it's how you definitely keep a customer. He didn't ask I write a review, and because of such, I MUST recommend this shop to anyone looking for tires or an alignment. I'm sure you'll be satisfied with not only the service, but also the price. Keep up the fine work gentleman.

Thanks, Leo! As a side note, NYS Discount Tire is a Tire Rack "Recommended Installer." If you're hesitant about order tires online, don't! You order the tires you want on Tire Rack and for shipping you can choose whether to have the tires shipped to your house (which is a no thanks for me) or you can have the tires shipped directly to NYS Discount Tire. When the tires arrive, NYS calls you to let you know they've arrived. I had fou- slim profile tires installed on my 2014 VW Passat and it cost $90 for the install/balance. Cheaper than All Weather Tire down the street!

It looks like the big brother of plastic wrap, but is sturdier and comes in different degrees of tint--customer's choice. We chose NEW YORK CITY WINDOW TINTING, which we found on Yelp, where they've earned many excellent reviews. (I'm finally adding mine!) Jerry Ciccio is the principle. He did an excellent job on all my windows. The cost was reasonable, he and his helper arrived as planned, and finished and cleaned up very well. My first experience with Bruart is in 2008 When my Silverstone Nisson 350Z was broadsided and the right rear was totally a mess. The paint was a special paint that required a special type of application. Fortunately my insurance company approved the additional $2,000.00 plus for the repair. When I received my car after the repair, I could not tell the car was ever in a collision. The paint was perfect. I subsequently had both of my Porsches repaired there. They looked as if they came out of the showroom and performed as new. read more
