I ordered ahead for a pickup and arrived to nothing on the pickup line. The staff didn't ask me if I ordered anything. And once they did ask me for my name. They completed orders for at least 10 customers that were in line to place an order. Then they made an order for a pickup and the client wasn't even at the restaurant to pick the order up yet, while I waited for them to make mine. Horrible customer service and this isn't the first time the disregard the orders made ahead. read more

I did a Diabetic cheat and had a Skinny Everything toasted Salmon Bagel. So worth it. Really hit the spot and the blood sugar spike was very manageable. I'm an Einstein stan but Brueggers is what's here. I've ordered from them before but today I'm really disappointed. I specifically asked the lady making my bagel to toasted it on the inside because they usually don't. I got home it's not even lightly toasted on either side, just warm, not hot at all. And I was also disappointed that I had to pay extra for cream cheese. The bacon egg and cheese sandwich has no spread or anything. I remember when cream cheese didn't cost extra to get on your bagel even butter was almost $1 for a tablespoon and $2 for the same in cc. I'm going to find a new bagel spot or just make my own in the future. read more

Bagels have shrunk to almost disappearance. Service was terrible. People didn't seem to want to be there working. Cleanliness was nonexistent. They didn't clean the cutting boards nor the knives. They're supposed to have a designated knife for lox. Also they need to clean knives between orders. What if a customer has a food allergy and knives are cross contaminated? Sad. Looking for a new breakfast food we stopped in and mouths were immediately drooling lol Saturday around 9ish and we were greeted and placed our order within minutes-I opted for the smoked brisket on the green chili cheddar bagel and wife decided to try the recommendation of the young man behind the counter--cinnamon raisin bagel with the Sriracha Honey sunrise and she LOVED IT! The twice baked hash browns weren't super awesome but If you like soft, creamy hashmuffins--it's for you lol no it wasn't bad just my wife likes crispy tators. I've been here a few times recently and each time has been worse than the last. They seem to run out of a variety of bagels. The service is very slow from most of the staff. Yesterday we stopped in to get 1 breakfast sandwich and 4 bagels with cream cheese. When we got home, all of the bagels with cream cheese were wrong. They put jalapeño cream cheese on cinnamon and sugar bagels (was supposed to be honey walnut). It's so aggravating to spend money and drive 20 minutes to get food, to have to throw it away. If I had time to go back I would have. Unfortunately we had plans. I'll skip this store from here on out. read more

I've been to this location 3 times. The first time I asked them to toast my 6 pack of bagels, and they looked at me like I was an alien. They said we don't do that. So I asked again at register because it just didn't make sense that a bagel shop won't toast your bagel and they said, well we will but there can't be anyone else in line and you have to pay $2.19 per bagel. That's more than the bagel. Next time I went, had a gift card, really the only reason I even went back and the guy was just like sorry the gift card doesn't work. I told him I just used it on a latte on Friday and they just had to type in the number instead of swipe. He basically just said no these gift cards are really old and it's been happening everywhere. I basically stood there saying it will go through I promise you your manager got it through on Friday and low and behold the second time, it went through. So all he had to do was just try again and probably input correct number on card into system. ‍I had ordered a latte and he forgot so I asked if I could get my latte and after helping a few other customers he then he me my latte and I'm thinking why is this coffee so hot? it's because he didn't put the hand cardboard cooling thing so that I would burn my hand. Called in my order, picked it up. While I love their food, I had an issue with the overpriced cream cheese. I ordered 2 bagel breakfast sandwiches, 4 regular bagels and asked if I could get a little cream cheese on the side (2 flavors). The cashier was very rude. I went through the line twice with two separate orders. I watched her ask EVERY customer in front of me what they ordered and she took them at their word. Each time that I got to the cashier, I began telling her my order and she had to double check with the food preps what I ordered as if I was going to try an get a scoop of cream cheese for free. Great coffee and bagels. My favorite is pumpernickel, and I love the pastrami and swiss egg sandwich. Their seasonal flavored coffee is usually pretty good, especially when they have pumpkin spice in the fall. It's not inexpensive to come here, but if you download the app and sign up for rewards with your email, they send you coupons. Staff here is great overall. I've never really had a bad experience. Everyone is friendly and makes conversation, asks how your day is going, etc. And they're pretty efficient and speedy as well. I can usually get in and out quickly, even if they have a line of people ordering. read more

I've been to many different Bruegger's. Typically the experience is solid-if predictable. I've come to this location three times now and I've always left feeling that something was lacking. The employees seem unenthusiastic and maybe undertrained. The music is loud and just plain bad (I don't recall loud, terrible music in any of the other Bruegger's locations). Also... my bagel seemed undercooked this morning. Also... there are never any smiles. Great spot for a quick bite. The staff was polite and the service was quick. I tried the Leonardo da Veggie on a jalapeno bagel. My friend got the grilled cheese. We both enjoyed our meal. I even got 2 pickles on the side! This location is definitely worth a visit. read more

Here's the deal - I'm a bagel brat (Manhattan, born and bred near the Lower East Side) and the bagels here are fine. However, this review is for an employee who is conscientious, goes the extra mile and is cordial to boot. We went in about 1/2 hour prior to closing, and Pierce was friendly and didn't rush us. He did happily announce the arrival of the pumpkin bagel. Enter allergy girl *raises hand* Yes, among the smattering of food allergies I have is to the round gourd which welcomes autumn and the delight of coffee drinkers everywhere. I digress. Upon telling Pierce that I had a pumpkin allergy, he washed his hands, cleaned the surface and knife, and proceeded to prepare my bagel prior to my fiance's pumpkin bagel. I understand that it was a busy morning. The staff were working their butts off. They were college kids and were great. and you can tell they were stressed but we're doing an amazing job and communicating. My issue is with the manager. An order was missed which is understandable because of how busy it is but it didn't help that the manager was barking orders the entire time. And THEN she told the customer before me who was waiting on the missed order to be made that everyone would be fired at the end of the day. ESCUSE ME? That is not professional, or funny, and is extremely inappropriate to say to a customer. And within earshot of other customers. I will not be coming back because of her. Learn from my mistake. Do not come here. A friend had gone to the Campbell location and highly recommended the edamame salad, so I thought I'd try it. I'm closer to the Wilmot and Broadway location, so we went there Saturday for lunch. They were at the end of the salad mix so he cut up some romaine and threw it in there. He asked for more mix, never got any, so he moved on to toppings for our half filled bowls. My husband ordered the apple salad. The kid literally started cutting a rotting apple core, then thought better of it and begrudgingly got a whole apple. He put his chicken covered hands in the nuts, then the cranberries. This process took about 10 minutes and three people. They were sloppy, haphazard and unfriendly. I should have trusted my gut and told them to stop and gone somewhere else. But we followed through, unfortunately. The ingredients were substandard. My edamame salad didn't have edamame. They put the wrong dressing on my husband's salad. We literally took two bites, decided to toss the salads and went somewhere else. read more

Andrew is awesome! We came in for breakfast this morning and not only did he do a great job making sandwiches for other employees but he was helping out others who were a little less experienced. He even did a dining room sweep to check on things and offered to toss our trash, in the middle of a morning rush. They ran out of their yummy everything bagels and we decided to come back later to pick them up. He asked what time we would be back, so he could make a note of it to be sure they had some on hand. This location was better when I first moved to this part of town 4 years ago. But it's gotten worse with order mess ups, not very good looking on the inside and just terrible customer service. My husband was getting lunch for us on his lunch break, took over 30 minutes because they handed him the wrong order, then had to remake our order which left him no time to even eat. They really should take customer names so orders don't get messed up when people are in a rush. read more

I come here for mostly breakfast and I've never been disappointed. The bagels consistently fresh, the ingredients are tasty and the drinks always good. I haven't had everything on the menu yet but nothing I have tried has been anything lower then good. This location needs a lot of help. I came in at 12pm on a Sunday, I first started with the bagels of course and the woman helping me looked like she honestly hated her job. She kept asking me what I wanted, and when I told her she made me repeat myself. I received no smiles or warm welcome, it was clear they really just didn't want to be there today. So once I get to the register it doesn't get any better, the man that checked me out was really sweet and helpful, I asked for a flavored coffee, I really wanted French vanilla, but then the woman behind him snaps that she only has hazelnut. It's only noon so I assume they will be making more flavored coffee, so I asked how long it would take, I didn't mind waiting at all. She looked mad that I asked that question and said that she is cleaning it, at 12 in the afternoon. Which makes no sense when the store is clearly busy and French vanilla is extremely popular. I really won't be back to this location again, I never had this kid of problem at the other location on Broadway where Dena is in charge. read more
