You've gotta try this place. You may not notice it at first, tucked into a plaza...but it's worth a go. Heck, if you live nearby, you might even become a regular. Highly recommend!! Me and a couple friends came for brunch/lunch and it is now our favorite spot. They have a huge menu which makes it easy for everyone to find something they like. I had left my debit card on the table and one of the employees had taken it. They proceeded to make transactions on to my card and when I had called and asked if they had seen it, they told me they will call me back after they "find it". Three hours later somebody calls me and tells they found it "in between the booth" she kept going on and on with a made up story like I hadn't seen the transactions on my card. I really wanted to like this place. Managers need to take a look at staffing according to volume. My waitress was nice and the food was pretty good minus the overdone hash browns in my husbands omelette and my undercooked pancakes. The problem was it took an hour and 15 minutes to receive breakfast food after ordering?! It's breakfast food! There was not enough staff in the kitchen to send out meals in a timely fashion and when they finally arrived, you could tell they were just trying to get food out (overcooked,undercooked). I don't blame the chefs, I blame the staffing of them. I also don't believe carryouts should take precedence over dine in guests. They should have to wait just as long as the guests who took the time to dine in. Please fix this problem. read more

We were in the area for a baseball tournament and googled ( not yelped and we should have), this restaurant. We were seated right away and ordered within 10 minutes into being here. The waitress was kind, but slow. We placed our order and were dismayed when after 30 minutes people who arrived after us were being served. 10 more minutes passed , the food came and my son's meal was wrong. He ordered the hash as he does at every restaurant, never in omelet form which is what he received. Our waitress insisted he did order the omelette, after we all said no he never said the word omelette she relented and reordered. It took another 25 minutes. The food was just okay. Have come here a couple times and the food is very good. The complaint I have is the the manager/owner. I understand that weekends are busy but I think it's inappropriate or rather rude to tell people that they are holding up tables when waiting for another guest to arrive and rushing people to leave, especially when there are hardly any people waiting. I also heard her lecturing her staff while I was waiting for her to seat me, which I ended up just walking myself to the table. This doesn't make for a pleasant dining experience. After reading the great reviews of this place my husband and I went for breakfast expecting a great meal. Was not the case. The Hollandaise Sauce for the Eggs Benedict was fake. It was an orange gel type substance not a real authentic Hollandaise. That's is what I am expecting. How hard is it to do, it's only 3 ingreds that they should already have on hand not including the salt. Keep it warm in a thermos jug. My husband ordered a Mexican Omlete with Chorizo which was minimal and barely any spice. The cheese was not melted inside. The Hasbrowns are the typical frozen variety barely browned on a dry grill. One great thing is their excellent coffee tho. I might try their Pancakes if I return. They did sound wonderful. read more

Service was slow. We were seated at 12:15. Our order taken and imputed at 12:25. Hot sandwich arrived at 1:00. Cold wrap sandwich at 1:05. Asked for the manager who is also the owner. She was rude and unapologetic. Her exact words were if you come in at lunch time you can't always expect good service. The waitress told us our mistake was coming in at a normal lunch time when it's busy. They also did not do social distancing. They sat people at the booth in front of us and the table behind us. I notified hostess....server still never came to the table....hostess brought our refills and we never got our food. Great local place. Keep it simple with the food. The eggs Benedict original version is good. No bubbly water, no decaf latte. Once I good in the diner mood and ordered plain Decaf and the original Benedict I thoroughly enjoyed the food. The staff is attentive and kind. This is an excellent place to get breakfast. It has all the breakfast foods you'd expect, along with some creative takes on those options, such as the Monte Cristo French Toast, or the Mexican Eggs Benedict. The prices are reasonable too. The only real problem I have is with the wait. I always have at least a 15 minute wait whenever I go there, and they most definitely do not have enough space to wait in. read more

Get carry-outs from here quite a lot. Everything I've had is delicious and fresh tasting. I've had the skillets and salads and omelets and everything was good so far. The one time I visited and ate-in, the service was a bit slow but other than that the expectation of food quality and price was spot on! Have eaten at Brunch since they opened. Food is fine, although they are not capable of scrambling an egg, ever, and eggs are usually brown. Nice selection of items. Being a patron for almost 6 years I was very upset when eating there yesterday. My friend and I were having breakfast & there were only 2 servers. We arrived to only 2 other tables seated. Sat in a booth, go anywhere they said. It took a bit for our food, long for the number of patrons. My friend asked for hot sauce and it took about 10 minutes to get that. Needed to clarify her pancakes were gluten free but she finally had to walk over to the server because we could not get her attention & she didn't come back. Fast forward to another server telling us they needed our booth, could we hurry up. At 9:45 am. NO ONE was waiting and there were tables open and another booth. Literally cleaned the table while we were still sitting to hurry us out. Super rude, and won't be returning. Wish they had said to leave before I tipped. Understand short staffing and have patience. Had brunch here today and I was pleasantly surprised. We walked in and had to wait a couple minutes which was surprising as it was a Wednesday afternoon but we took it as a good sign. The menu has quite a bit of options, I went with the apple cinnamon pancakes. They were beyond delicious, so much flavor, so many apples, huge pancakes, fluffy and hot, great flavor. I also got a side of bacon, skip the bacon it was horrible and overcooked but I could care less bc the pancakes were that good. Breakfast today at 11a - 3 ladies. The food was great with generous portions, reasonably priced, wait was only 15 min on a busy Sun am. The service was good except we were made to feel rushed to get out when done! Plates, coffee & water glasses removed immediately. The server who was sweet ,seemed to be at our table & interrupting our conversation constantly.- reaching over us like 3-4 times to remove condiments . We were talking only about 15 min after finished & our table was completely empty except for 1 water glass- which my friend held onto & said I feel like your kicking us out - she said -oh no! Everyone has raved about this restaurant, but their reviews fell far short of my actual experience. My description of Brunch Cafe would be "mediocre" and my husband's was "disappointing." Our food was overcooked and greasy, the service was slow, the decor was coney-style with a few tacky paintings on the wall, the noise level was ridiculous (please put some soft surfaces in there to absorb the sound), the tables are way too closely spaced and nothing shields the kitchen from the "dining area." I expected/ hoped for so much more and wish the owners would take the necessary steps to bring this place up to a higher standard. Brunch restaurants have recently become trendy fun spots for dining; however, the Brunch Cafe is anything but. Don't waste your time and money on this place. read more
