We came at lunchtime on a Saturday but all had breakfast items. The south of the border quesadilla was mild, no jalapeños and no beans. It was very light. The stuffed potato pancakes were enjoyed by one of our table mates as always. Fairly dense with eggs, cheese and the shredded potato pancakes they appear to be a solid choice for someone who is quite hungry. The apple Gouda melt on Texas toast with sweet potato fries was very tasty but the sweet potato fries were not quite as crisp as they should've been. They did have a nice seasoning on the outside that give them extra flavor. The aye caramba skillet was ordered with hashbrowns but it came out with diced potatoes. It would've been nice to see it with hashbrowns as the chorizo sausage was very well cooked and not at all greasy. The melted cheese dripping into the hash browns would have been more interesting to me than diced potatoes which were just a hair under cooked. The jalapeños were nice and spicy. The wheat toast was rather lacking in flavor as it was very blonde and not as dark as I would normally expect wheat toast to be. It was nice that they did not pre-butter the bread, but for a table of four there were only two containers of whipped butter on the table. They should check that between seatings. As a dessert we ordered the carrot cake pancakes. They were not too sweet and had good care of flavor with shredded raw carrots, toasted pecans and a sweetened cream cheese in between the three pancakes. For added sweetness they brought out pancake syrup that you could add to it. Not sure I could eat a whole plate of this, but it was delicious as a shared item. The menu is almost overwhelming with so many choices. They have a couple of specials every day as well that they show on the table as you enter the restaurant. The service was very pleasant although she did mess up the skillet order. If in the area and looking for breakfast or lunch we would return. read more

While making an order on DoorDash, the cook completely forgot my bacon and my eggs. It wasn't the door dashers fault, completely the chef. The order I had made originally came with eggs so for them to completely forget the MAIN food is completely unprofessional. I definitely recommend this place, the quality and service are excellent, but lately the prices have gone up, and the sandwiches have gotten a bit smaller too and they have started to nickel and dime their customers for small stuff. We visited this place today for breakfast. There's something I liked about them, one the speed of service, they are by no means fast food, but if you need to grab a bite under an hour, you can make it happen here. The second part was their food, we ordered two specials the black & blue skillet and the cinnamon apple crepes. Both of them amazing!!! The crepes were not too thin, they had as topping cinnamon, apples and dried cranberries. The skillet had potatoes, steak, two sunny side eggs and blue cheese. Very, very tasty, just too heavy for me for breakfast, but if you're a meat lover this is a great option. Our waitress was very sweet and on top of things. This restaurant is the best breakfast/ brunch spot in town in my opinion. They always have great tasting fresh food and are willing to accommodate even the pickiest of eaters. I am on salt restrictions, Vegetarian and gluten free and my husband is allergic to poultry, it's never a problem. The staff is always polite and friendly, from the hostess to the waitresses and even the kind men who clean up. They're all very nice and the waitresses are the bomb! They always have recommendations to help me stick to my food restrictions. The price of the food is average, you do usually get a generous amount of food. I highly recommend you try it once! I called at 11am and got my name down for 12pm. We were able to get a table within 5 min of arriving. I got the brunch burger with rye bread. Should have just gotten it without the bread- the bread was thicker than my hubby's toast. Anyway I removed the bread and still did not enjoy my burger. I was dipping it in ketchup because it was so tasteless. The fries were skinny and crunchy and I wasn't a fan. However, the other 3 in my party enjoyed their meals! My hubby got the special prime rib and eggs with toast and fruit. He enjoyed it! The waitress was really nice! I guess the lesson here is don't get a lunch food at a breakfast place. So this place is across the street from my hospital and as a night shift nurse it is our go to place for mimosas and amazing food. I personally love the portobenny and a strawberry mimosa. They are delicious. This thing that stuck out to me the most is that I once ordered breakfast from work and was going to pick it up on my way home, but I got caught up in an emergency and was late to get out. I then received a phone call from the owner/manager of the restaurant and his first words were " I am calling just because I was getting worried and wanted to make sure you were ok" not "you forgot your food here."
