A great new steakhouse is exactly what Norco needed! Checked this place out during their soft opening and honestly, they're off to a fantastic start. The staff was super friendly, efficient, and really knew the menu inside and out, which made the experience smooth and enjoyable. Nicole, the owner, came by our table and was incredibly friendly, attentive, and clearly dedicated to making sure guests were having a great experience. It really showed how much pride she takes in both the food and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. We started with the crispy calamari & shishito, which had the perfect crunch without being greasy and a nice kick from the peppers. The charcuterie family block was beautifully presented and loaded with a great mix of cheeses and meats, but the star was the candied bacon with its perfect balance of sweet, smoky, and savory--we couldn't get enough. For mains, I had the Prime hanger steak cooked medium-well, which came out with a great sear on the outside, juicy and tender inside, and seasoned just right to highlight the flavor of the beef. My partner had the chicken fettuccine alfredo, which was a standout with al dente pasta, a creamy yet light sauce, and a generous portion. Got 3 sides with our order the Mashed potatoes, Brussel sprouts with bacon and 3/4 cheese Mac N Cheese. All were delicious and prepared perfectly. Drinks were just as impressive, with my margarita refreshing and balanced while the old fashioned was smooth, bold, and perfectly mixed. A highlight of the night was watching the chef cook and plate dishes through the open kitchen concept, which really showcased the attention to detail and care put into the food. The environment tied it all together, feeling classy and upscale yet still comfortable and inviting. Let's start with I love their meat market. However, they missed it greatly in dinner last night. They have it nailed with their people very attentive funny lot of knowledge about the menu. The bar is excellent very diverse in the liquors that they have. But they seriously need to work on the food. The calamari was overcooked, the corn was dried out, the hanger steak was crazy tough. I feel like they have the right idea, but don't have it dialed in yet. Very pricey for what you get, but I was expecting that given that they're a high-end meat market. My family and I got to enjoy our night at a preview dinner prior to the grand opening, and it was absolutely incredible! Every staff member (including our server, who was the best) was ON IT and so kind. The manager and owner made their way around to introduce themselves to all the guests and answer any questions. Brunk's Steakhouse was absolutely delicious. My husband and I shared the waygu gold ribeye and the mashed potatoes. It was perfect with our wine and old fashioned. The staff was wonderful. Super nice and welcoming. The ambiance definitely fits a steakhouse and you could tell everyone was having a great time. Every time a customer came out of the door after eating they had a big smile on their face and said they loved their food. I can't wait to see the rest of the menu and eat there more! 3 out of the 4 steaks were pretty awesome. The 4th was supposed to be med rare and came out medium well. Waitstaff didn't check back so the person in our party ate a bit of it . When the server came back she was told about the steak. She apologized and took a bit of money off the bill. The steak was cut and pulled away from the bone when it was served which in our opinion is totally unacceptable. The explanation we were given made no sense. Drinks are super expensive . Tables are way too close together. There was no one at the table behind us which was good because when we needed to get up there was absolutely no where to move. No salt and pepper on the tables. Suggestions would be to add a bit more atmosphere. Offer bread or rolls with dinner or prior to. Consider a different type of plate or use placemats. The plates slide all over the table and spin. Not a good thing when trying to cut a steak. We might go back after they have been running a while. Don't get me wrong though. 3 of our steaks were awesome! read more

Excellent first experience! We weren't super hungry so we came in for drinks and appetizers at the bar. We were well taken care of my Justin who was working the bar tonight. His old fashions are on point! We ordered the candied bacon, shrimp cocktail, and calamari. I'm here to give an honest review of my experience there last night. The ambiance is good. No issues there. Service is good. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu and made good suggestions. The appetizer we ordered was really good....fried calamari and shashito peppers. The wedge salad was really good. The wife's fettuccine was good, but a little on the dry side. Where this really went south was the steak. I ordered a 28 day dry aged bone in New York Strip ($79), medium cook, topped with a shallot herb butter (+$6). I expect this steak and topping to be cooked to perfection for that price. Epic fail! I couldn't even eat the steak. It was mostly bone, fat, and cartridge. It was super rare, which is not what I ordered. On top of that, the topping had no herbs or shallot that I could taste or see. Just a train wreck of a steak. For $85, I expected a 5 star dish, but got a subpar steak. Very disappointing to say the least. If you're charging $80 for a steak, you better deliver on cook and taste. See picture of the medium steak i ordered (came out barely cooked and mooing). Not tender at all and was hard to cut with the non serrated steak knives we were given. Now, if the steak had come out perfect,and the topping actually had herbs and shallot in it, then it would have been it would have been a lot better experience. That's my honest review. My husband took me here for an early birthday dinner. It was a wonderful experience. Ashley was our waitress and she hangout with us a bit, got to know us, asked questions, shared her recommendations, and really took good care of us. We also were lucky enough to be sat at the chefs table. We got to see the kitchen, watch them cooking, talk with the head chef, and got some special goodies to try. All the food was great, but the filet mignon was by far my favorite. It doesn't need anything on it at all, but we added butter and it just added more flavor. Friend had steak frites and I was amazed how different the cuts tasted... as they should but so rarely do in many spots. Sides were scrumptious but that steak is what's making me drool. This place was definitely a hit . From the atmosphere, to the Service it was a 10 out of a 10 . Michael was amazing. He never let a drink go dry. we order the filet mignon with lobster and the 18 ounce ribeye. The flavor was amazing on both and we also ordered the bacon appetizer. It tasted like you were eating a smoked ham.. our sides were mashed potatoes I'll give them a seven mac & cheese a strong 9.5 mushrooms an eight corn on the cob. Let's talk about the corn on the cob. It wasn't what we expected. They put a lemon sauce on it and for me and my friend it wasn't something that we liked, but the Husband loved it so we will give that a strong five. The steaks I would give them both tins cooked to perfection and then the final finale was the ice cream with honey on top. Well that was the best ice cream. I think I've ever had at a restaurant. That is a definitely a solid 10 . The owner. Did come around and talk to each table, which was very impressive. But Michael, the waiter was probably one of the best waiters we've had in a very long time. We were so impressed. that we left him $100 tip for a group of 3 . Best steak I've ever had they butcher it there. You can get any cut imaginable great chicken. I love chicken and they have a half of a roasted chicken. That is unbelievable. They have different types of homemade sauces. Everything is made in house right down to the mashed potatoes, I watched them myself with the potatoes everything there the food was amazing. The salads were impeccable. The dressings were unbelievable. This was true gourmet food. There were three of us and we all just love this place. I have never had a meal so good and I can't remember when I'll tell you it was a heck of a lot better than the last time I went to Morton's and this was just a quaint little place in Norco we love it the owner greeted us when we came in. She asked us how everything was. The bus boy was the friendliest bus boy I've ever encountered greeted us and said hello introduced himself our waitress was unbelievable. She was excellent the bartender what a great personality was willing to help and make any kind of drink you could dream up the prices were really fair To there was nothing. I can say that isn't 100% perfect with this place. This lady was her dream restaurant to open and her dream has come true and her dream is a big one because I've never been to a place this good I hope more people get to enjoy this place cause it's a real tree and we wanna thank all the staff and the owner at Brunks steakhouse in Norco at 4410 California Ave., Norco it's a bit of a drive for us because we were at the big shooting range Ruhagus it's close to there for all you people that like to go shooting. It's a pretty busy place so if you visit Reggies, you have to stop at BRUNKS steakhouse it's a real treat and even if you don't shoot, you still have to go out and try it. We made reservations for a Saturday night. When we arrived, someone else had mistakenly been given our reserved table. The hostess quickly seated us at a high top table near the kitchen. We were told it was a chef's table and we did get to try a complimentary appetizer which was much appreciated. The steaks were top quality and seasoned well. However, we asked for medium rare and the steak was more rare than expected.The asparagus, mac and cheese and salads were all good. The quality of the drinks did not match the prices. So Friday night 8/16/25 I called to see if they finally open and the person answering the phone told me yes. So we decided to try it out but when we got there they told us it was reservations only. Now why wouldn't the person on the phone tell us that when I called?! I would really like to try it but it might be awhile before I give you my business. This restaurant is absolutely horrible and disappointing. I can't tell you what is good about it. I have gone twice now. Once when they first opened and it was a huge mess. They overcharged us for dishes overcooked dishes and undercooked dishes too. This was a nightmare of a place. Horrible service too. Second time had horrible wait. Waited over 30 minutes for a baked potato. Ordered two and one came out quick and the other came out way later. The pasta sauces were horrible. The mac and cheese sauce was bad too. The sauce was separated and had chunks of flour in it. The chef needs to get it together here. I have heard through multiple people that supposedly they have had different chefs but I guess none of them worked out. They need to stick to just being a butcher and scratch the restaurant dream. I am convinced all of the good reviews are just friends and family and this here is a real review. It is extremely overpriced and just not good food at all save your money and eat at saddle sore down the street for way better food. The steaks were top tier my girl got a filet medium rare and the crust on it was un like any other place iv been to and also cooked to perfection! I got the ribeye also medium rare and it was amazing great crust as well. Favorite side was the Mac and cheese and do yourself a favor and add the truffle oil it levels it up big time. No drink menu present so no way to know what was behind the bar. Steaks were okay, table had a variety, some under cooked.
