We went through the drive-thru and order 2, 2 chicken taco specials with the rice and beans. We waited for 15-20 minutes for our food. When we got home to eat, we discovered they gave us the wrong food! Instead of of the regular 2 chicken taco special, they gave us the 4 mini chicken street taco special. Those are completely different and cost more! There was so much onion and cilantro that we couldn't even eat it! I immediately called when we got home and they didn't answer so I left a message. I called again later and left another message. They never returned my call. They messed up the order, and we couldn't even eat the food. We had to remind them to make one more food item because they forgot to make it. Otherwise, the portions are really good for their prices. Example: a large breakfast burrito only cost $8.45. However, the quality of the food was average. I tried a carne asada quesadilla and the meat was of worse quality than the other Mexican restaurants in the area. I ordered 3 crispy beef tacos and my fiancé ordered tacos pastor. The tacos were the best I've ever had. I thought Tito's tacos in California were good, there is no comparison to these tacos. The beef was tender and flavorful and the beans and rice were just like Mom makes. The tacos Pastor were good probably without the extra guacamole. The red and green hot sauce was the Bomb! This place is super close to my Girlfriend's home. I will come here when I am in town visiting! We were running around and wanted to grab lunch, I had the carnitas! Oh Wow! So Glad I Did! They were Amazing!!!!! My Girlfriend says that the young lady at the drive through window is always super friendly! So A+ on customer service! My food was awesome! The carnitas tasted like they were cook over an open flame with just the right amount of seasoning and char. I would say this good quick Mexican food type place. The location has changed names several times over the years and this latest one to Mariachi's seems to be the best so far. It's worth the drive from the other nearby fast Mexican food place on Union Hills and 91st (Filiberto's). I was surprised at how good the chile rellenos were, they had a nice fluffy batter, good amount of sauce on them, and great melted cheese inside. The staff was courteous and helpful. Overall pretty clean inside the restaurant, which is appreciated when dining in. The other plus is the salsa bar selection is not just basic red or green salsa. They have a chunky salsa as well as a smoky red salsa. The spicy jalapeños, carrots and onions are also pretty good! read more
