We had a large hive in our attic and called a few places to come get them safely removed. So happy we went with Bryans Bees! Colin was who helped us out and he was able to quickly and safely get all of the bees out. Thank you!

We moved into our home a week ago and noticed quite a few bees going in and out of a crack by a post in our front yard. I called Bryan's Bees late on a Friday, and Lyndsay made our house the first appointment for Monday. Colin called in advance during the 9 - 11 am window, and he was at our house by 10:30 or so. He explained that it looked like he would need to take the top off of our stone post to take out what was most likely an established hive. What he found was an established colony of bees, which he was able to remove within about 90 minutes. He told us to be aware that the remaining bees were agitated and to give it about 10 days for everything to settle down. He also let us know that he would come out for free if we still had a problem after 10 days. We were impressed by this company's professionalism, communication, and skills. We paid the price quoted in the estimate-- no hidden charges or other shady stuff. I hope we never need a live bee removal service again, but if we do, we will certainly call Bryan's Bees.

We had a huge colony of bees under a decorative rock on our landscaping. Colin was able to come out and do some investigative work to figure out what the next steps were. He ultimately offered us a more cost-effective and reasonable solution to help remove the bees without destroying this large rock, which would have cost thousands of dollars. I would definitely recommend Bryans Bees. I will be calling again if we run into this issue in the future.

This company did fulfill the job stated in their ad. Mike called me 30 mintues before arrival. And gave me plenty time heading up to DV house for the Bee hive removal. The job only took around 30 to 40 min. and Mike charged me min. $150. Fair enough for both parties. If someone would like this bee hive removal business, pls dont hesitated to call Bryan's Bees.

Amazing, professional work. Colin and Jacob were polite and knowledgeable. They took care of the bees and kept us informed the whole way through. We even got cool pictures to keep from the experience. If you care at all about bees, this company is the right way to go. Worth every penny!

Bryan, collecting my bee-buddies...to rehome them.

I'd been wanting to go back and take Dear Hubby to enjoy this very special re-imagining of the previous space, which had been an Irish pub incarnation. When our sister-in-law and two nieces were in town, the five of us were able to spend a quick evening together at Selvin's. We had been working on a project at our house, and by the time we got finished and ready to go out there wasn't a lot of time left as we went on a weeknight and they close at 9:00. I'm surprised that having a full bar, and being attached to a hotel property, that they would hang it up so early - even 9:30 or 10:00 would make more sense. It's such a charming place; seems a shame to have to call it a night so early. The ambiance is absolutely divine, especially out here in suburbia. It's very innovative in its layout. The lighting was carefully planned and is very effective in creating a special mood. And, what can be said about the wall of roses? It's tailor-made for snapping fun photos, that's for sure. The chef is sending out creative and Dee-Licious dishes from the kitchen. Yes, I know how to spell delicious, but it is worth adding the accented flair to stating the fact that this is a cut above many other dining establishments in the Conejo Valley. Dear Hubby and I shared Pappardelle Pasta and a Tuna Tartare appetizer. Both were excellent. One of our nieces ordered the taco platter. Wait till you see the photo. The only thing that was disappointing, menu-wise, was that bread wasn't included, so we ordered some as a side. Two little slices. I've forgotten the price, but I recall that it turned into sticker shock when we saw what was served. I'm tickled that they offer a nice array of zero proof cocktail options. They aren't inexpensive - apparently spirits without alcohol aren't any less (or maybe only slightly less?) than the full-spirited options. Still, it's nice to have the option. Our out of town family members LOVED Selvin's; it was a big hit with all of us. As an added bonus, there was a guitarist playing beautiful acoustic music when we arrived and were seated in the lounge area. Major extra credit!

It's the perfectly curated trio - Dirty Martini, followed by a well dressed crisp Cesar salad, and perfectly hot Truffle French fries. That's girl dinner in a nutshell (trust us on this combo). On their speciality menu it's called "Martinis and Munchies for Two" for $49. An amazing deal split between two friends. Dirty Martini: Some of the best ice cold martinis on this side of town. These cocktails were crafted to perfection and were always a sucker for the blue cheese stuffed olives. Tossed Cesar Salad: A Cesar salad during these hot summer months always hits the spot. Crisp, cold and fresh. The dressing was solid but I must highlight the lightly scattered capers on this salad - so smart and so tasty! Truffle French Fries: After a few martinis these French fries come in clutch. Crispy, hot and perfectly salted - who doesn't love a French fry and an aioli with a kick. Honorable Mention: PASTA. I was very impressed with my pasta dish here. Ordered the pappardelle bolognese and this pasta was a 10/10. Perfectly cooked ribbons of pasta with a hearty meat sauce and the Stracciatella topping sealed the deal for me on this pasta. We had a fabulous girls dinner from start to finish. The ambience at Selvin's is truly magical and we just love the decor and bar area. We had a cozy little booth to ourselves and the service was top-notch from start to finish. Extra kudos to Claudia for being a bubbly, lovely girls girl who was super attentive to us during our meal and made the night A+. Can't wait to come back soon.

We parked in the lot next to it and walked in where there was no line, but a couple of people who already ordered and were waiting for their bowls and such. I was unsure of what to order, what the differences were, and if their açaí had any dairy in it. The guy behind the counter was confident and was able to tell me that they're dairy free and that the build your own bowls are the same price as the pre-made selected ones that were also on the menu. He was incredibly helpful and made the experience not feel awkward. Everyone there just seemed so happy to be there and it had a good vibe. After ordering, we sat down and waited 5-10 minutes or so for our 2 medium sized açaí bowls. The mediums are about 24oz. of product, which sounded like a lot to me, but I was able to finish in one sitting. The açaí was so authentic tasting vs. a sugary smoothie tasting one. The honey on top was a free option as well which was nice. Overall, a bowl is around $15-$16 plus tax, but for a medium bowl was around $18/$19 plus tax. It's definitely a little on the pricier side, especially when a meal on average is $15 or so. With the surrounding area also being families and students, I feel like I would go there more if they were just a couple dollars cheaper, but I don't mind paying it if it's every once in a while.

When I arrived, I was greeted and waited to place my order. An employee suggested that I use one of the kiosks instead. I noticed several customers waiting to order, so I decided to place my order directly through the Ubatuba website on my phone while inside the restaurant. After ordering, I waited quite a while. During that time, I noticed customers who had arrived after me receiving their orders first. Eventually, I heard my name called, went to pick up the order, and returned to my car. Once I got to my car, I realized the bowl I had received was not my order. I immediately returned to the restaurant to let the staff know. The employee took the bowl, threw it away, and said, "Yeah, I know you took her order. Next time listen for your name." I found that comment both unfair and unprofessional. This was clearly an honest mistake. I genuinely believed I had heard my name called. If I had intentionally taken someone else's order, I certainly would not have returned to correct the mistake. The employee then told me that I had placed my order through DoorDash and that my order was separated from the others. This was confusing because I did not place my order through DoorDash; I ordered directly through the Ubatuba website. If the company uses a third-party system behind the scenes, that is not something customers are made aware of during the ordering process. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What was disappointing was not the mix-up itself, but the way the situation was handled. A simple explanation or a courteous response would have gone a long way. Instead, I was made to feel as though I had done something wrong when I was trying to correct an honest mistake. I have always enjoyed Ubatuba and have had positive experiences in the past, which is why this interaction stood out. I hope situations like this are handled so future customers are treated with more professionalism and respect.
