This is the hands down best spot for breakfast or lunch. Here's why - the nicest, friendliest, down to earth people own and operate this gem of a restaurant. It's the best service you'll ever find...AND the food is SO good. I mean everything is good. Today we had two eggs over easy with a fresh baked waffle and the freshest strawberries and blueberries. And they deep fried our bacon, which was amazingly crisp. Their omelettes are fantastic, too. We usually get the chorizo and pepper jack cheese. Amazing. The coffee is outstanding, too. Excellent coffee, and the antithesis of the typical mud you'll get at the diner. No charge for refills, either and they are always right there to fill your cup. Love, love, love these folks. In response to COVID, they offer take out, delivery and a really nice tented patio dining area. Shade or sun. Lots of parking, too. New Jersey, you must give this place a try. We've been customers for years, and have always enjoyed wonderful meals at a very reasonable price. Today we had the Ruben, a ham and cheese omelette and a western omelette. For a tiny place that is always packed you typically don't have to wait for a table more than 15 minutes. This is my first time here. I work down the block at the express lube and i was 2 hours early for work. So i was told to come here by my employees. I'm glad i did the service was right on and i got the 3 cheese bacon omelet with fresh mozzarella it was fantastic the eggs were fresh and very good the place is clean and has that happy home feeling very crowded that is a good sign walking in. This is a cute little down home feel diner. I ordered an omelette with spinach and feta cheese that was yummy. Perfect amount of spinach and the prefect amount of cheese. The order was made quickly and exactly to my preference. My friend ordered over easy eggs and bacon. I had a slice of the bacon and it too was made perfectly. Nice and crisp and not greasy. Found this place via the yelp app. Glad I did. This is a perfect little family "mom and pop" type place I love. My waitress was a doll, even though she was busy (Sunday morning) she still took the time to give me recommendations since it was my first time visiting the establishment. (Definitely will not be my last) as far as the food it was delicious. I ordered the French toast, and I usually prefer the normal skinny bread instead of the thick challah bread, this was amazing. I did see a review that mentioned how the French toast had fried egg on it, unfortunately some over privileged folks that don't know how French toast is made don't know the toast is dipped in a egg mixture then put on a griddle, so sometimes you may get some egg run off on the edges. It however doesn't take away from the great flavors. The coffee is great as well. I drink mine black so I get to taste the true coffee flavors. I'd say it's a medium roast not too strong and not weak by any means. Overall a great experience. I'm not from the area otherwise I would be a regular, but I assure you next time I am around, I will be going again. read more

So since my last review of Bryans I've been there 50+ times. The food is consistently great and the prices are reasonable. Try the off-menu spinach-eggs benedict or chorizo, egg and cheese sandwich for a very special breakfast. The Bryans burgers - 8oz of fresh meat, cooked to order may be the best burger around for under $7. Get one on a toasted hard roll with grilled onions for an ultimate burger experience. I've been to this location several times and I can honestly say I'm disappointed at the rude remarks that was said by the owner. I can't support a business that degrades our society by any means. If I could give negative stars I would the people here are disgusting and rude. Unfortunately during these hard times social service offers A voucher for selected items for free for families in need. As am I very appreciative and thankful for this service that I unfortunately needed at this time, I am very disappointed on how Unsympathetic and unprofessional they have acted. When trying to place an order for my family in need I was told that they're very busy it's lunch hour and was hung up on. When I tried calling back to place another order I explain to them that I was trying to place the order but someone keeps hanging up on me then I was rudely yelled at and told " oh you mean the free food voucher I am extremely busy with people actually paying for lunch" During these times it's extremely rude and extremely hurtful to be nasty to one another when someone else is in need due to a situation such as COVID-19 that is not your fault or under your control. She continue to yell and say Obscene things that I cannot write on here. I am extremely disappointed and disgusted by this place and how they handle people with need. Not an easy thing for a teenager! Now I know why...The food is really good diner style and fairly priced, the service is always great, and even at their busiest times they make sure your needs are met. ( and it fills up real quick between 9-10am) The real clincher for me, however, came when I went one morning with a friend and they gave her the wrong omelette. The owner came out personally to apologize. They offered to replace the omelette, ( my friend just ate it anyway) and in the end, did not charge her for it. This is true customer service. I go to this place with my family probably every other month. The breakfast is always good. I usually go with a cheese omelet and crispy bacon which they always cook just right when I ask for it well done. The pancakes are also really tasty. I have been there for lunch too and their sandwiches are also delicious. One other thing is how good the service is. I have 3 small children and they are always super accommodating. The servers always take an interest in the kids which is a nice change from some other places. All in all it's a nice, small, family type of local establishment. read more

Lovely breakfast / lunch spot. Everyone knows everyone and it was easy just to fall right in to the atmosphere despite coming alone on this trip. Food was solid. Had a specialty omelette and the avocado was perfectly ripe. Whole wheat toast was nice and grainy, not that white pretending to be wheat kind. OMG, fantastic place! Today was our first time at Bryans. Moved in the area, and my 9 year old was upset that we weren't going to take the time to drive back to the old town for our breakfast out. Bryan's had him from the moment my son requested Hot Chocolate and got asked, "Would you like that with whip cream and marshmallows?" Service was excellent! My omelette with avocado's and tomato's was fantastic. My husband and son's Challah French Toast was awesome. Too mention, we like low salt, and the food was not too salty here, which made us happy. As a Jersey girl, diners are a Jerseys best friend. This place is in my hometown and I have been going my whole life. The staff as seen me grow up and they are just like family. The down side is that it is cash only but it is worth it and the wait if you go after church on Sundays. I tell everyone that comes to visit, you have to go to Bryan's. Usually when I walk in I usually don't have to say my order because I get the same thing. Blueberry muffin toasted with butter and cinnamon sugar on top with a side of either bacon or home fries.. To think, I have never ordered off of the menu but you can for one. Lean more to the home fries. Also, everything is under ten dollars.. I repeat $10!!! It is a tight space but it is cozy and the old town photos on the wall. Going to Bryan's makes me feel happy to be home. read more
