Wow, what a special place. It's a beautiful old building with an amazing vibe. Everything was delicious & the service was impeccable. We had the beet salad, simple leaf lettuces, eggplant cassoulet & pastrami sandwich. You know it's a special place as soon as you walk through the door. What an awesome place in an awesome little town. Our 1st time in Cambria. Would definitely like to return.

My husband and I had dinner reservations at this cute restaurant on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 7:00 pm. When I read about the seasonal farm-table concept and saw pictures of this cute old house turned into a restaurant, it caught my attention. We ordered the rotisserie chicken that came with a green salad, and three side dishes, but we could have done well with two. The side dishes were the roasted potatoes, a verity of mushrooms, and meatballs. Every single bite was so delicious and well balanced. Our dessert was a dark chocolates pudding made in-house, and the Pinot Noir was pretty good. The Chef came to our table to check if everything was okay. We knew it was the Chef because we read her bio and saw her picture. She was down to earth. We had a great dinner and can't wait to come back again.

People in the area raved about this place. In yelp it's rated very high. It's expensive food in an old cottage with plastic chairs and tables draped in blankets. Service was non existent and terrible due to quantity of people and lack of training and experience of servers and or busing people. Some of them don't speak at all or sell you on what's in the menu. Meatballs tasted like they were doused in Tapatio sauce so not very good at all. The cows, milk, cheese and rhubarb just didn't taste very good kind of pungent. The mushrooms are fine, but you can't really mess up sautéed mushrooms. The steelhead trout was the only thing that was probably the best on the menu with brown butter sauce. Cannolis were fine but I felt like I was begging to be waited on. Patrons also waiting on the hallways of the house to be seated. Next time I'm out! Don't recommend. Preferred Madellines

"Did you take me to eat at someone's house?" Was essentially the atmosphere of the restaurant. On the outside, it looks like a house, and the inside looks like it was converted into a dining establishment. Tables lined the inside of what was a living room or bed room. Seating is also available outside in the back yard. Parking is next to the house, but there's limited spaces. Staff was friendly and attentive. The menu was concise and a one pager. The food was delicious, but we needed a bigger table. We ended up putting things askew or our water containers on the bench we sat on. The wait wasn't too long depending on what time you come. It doesn't seem like there's a hostess who stands at the door, but you'll eventually catch the attention of someone. The delicious food would be a reason to come again.

Late review for this amazing find in Cambria! We ordered the Eggplant Cassoulet from the House Suppers menu, which serves two and came with a salad and grilled sourdough bread. We also shared the Pork Meatballs from the For the Table menu. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the entire meal was fantastic. The service was on point as well--our server checked on us regularly without being overbearing and was friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our visit. This place is definitely a must-visit if you're looking for a great meal paired with excellent service!

Brydge Restaurant elevates the farm to table concept and offers a meticulously curated menu that will leave you beyond pleased. The Red Beets,Pluots, Oranges & Chèvre small plate was a perfect marriage of ingredients, making it my favorite dish. My burger loving son was fully satisfied with his perfectly grilled burger. And because we are suckers for classic simplicity, we also ordered the grilled cheese and it was the perfect balance of a crispy exterior and cheesy molten interior. Ambience was lovely and cozy and the service lived up the quality of the food. Well done Brydge, you have won us over!

Perfect road trip lunch spot! Driving back to LA from Big Sur we were treated to the most amazing lunch at Brydge Restaurant! From the first moment we walked into this stunning 1880's vibey farmhouse, turned eclectic restaurant, we were in love. A carefully curated wine menu featured some regional gems and the effervescent bubbles set the stage for a patio atmosphere teeming with life. We ordered the peas and carrots, beet salad and burger. Each dish was incredibly nuanced and tasteful. Excellent portion sizes and organic produce highlighted the quality and attention to detail of each dish. Would highly recommend each of the options we chose, but the menu is seasonal and ever-changing so your mileage may vary! Throughout the entire experience, from being greeted by sever to the chef stopping by by our table, we felt completely taken care of. The level of attention to details highlights the love present here at Brydge Restaurant. We will be making this a regular stop on our Highway 1 road trips!

Had lunch with my Wife during her birthday weekend in Cambria and discovered this amazing little restaurant. The food was fantastic, great service in a quaint little house converted into restaurant! Definitely coming back for dinner!

Food was great! But small portions for the price. Easy to share small plates but there's also a dinner for two option. Service was good, waitress was nice, although we did receive one plate we did not order. Ambiance overall was good. I would come back :)

While staying at a nearby hotel with family, we found this resteraunt on Yelp and were pleasantly surprised! The place is a lot smaller than we expected but when walking in it was the most adorable quaint place you have ever seen. It was a home built in the 1800's that they turned into a resteraunt and we were all in love with the atmosphere. For food we ordered the reuben special sandwich, prime ribeye, and classic cheeseburger. The cheeseburger was very good and the bun was soft but crispy. The patty was very thick and cooked perfectly. The ribeye was a little on the smaller side but was so tender and juicy with butter and rosemary. And the reuben is a must try in sourdough bread! Overall the experience was a 10/10 and the server was a wonderful lady who answered all our questions and was very kind.

My husband and I came to Cambria to celebrate our 3 year anniversary. We came in for a late lunch/early dinner on a whim, after my husband found this place on yelp. We were kindly greeted and seated promptly. We ordered a few smaller plates- a beet salad and shrimp dish first and then a chicken dinner for two. Everything was delicious, clean and created with care! This was by far the best meal I've had in cambria thus far!

Brydge Restaurant is a local spot in Cambria. It's right off the main road but one of the best spots for a farm to table meal. The plates are definitely shareable and I highly recommend the meatballs and beet salad! They were both packed with flavor and neither felt heavy. The staff were also super helpful with recommendations and the outside seating is an added bonus to a great atmosphere. Next time you are visiting or passing through Cambria, Brydge Restaurant is the spot to go!

The rillettes de gibier had was packed with a fatty flavor and just a hint just a hint of gaminesss that made it a great start to the meal. The braised short ribs were just so tender and the mushroom flavor really shined with each bite. It was woody and had a natural, forest-floor quality that grounded the heavy, fatty richness of the short ribs. I could eat that every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

So far this is a management issue - these ladies were giving and needed 1 more server to keep them caught up- lots of business waking out the door due to poor scheduling- what a shame. One person behind the bar and 2 dining room servers would make this successful. It's too easy. - Food came out in a timely manner. Gary's pasta - 10/10 Clam chowder - 10/10 definitely homemade. And the onion rings were pretty boring. I don't think they make them there, I am not sure about that, though. But they had kind of a generic look and feel to them, but the problem was they had zero flavor. Like nobody put salt on them when they took them out of the fryer. That's the first thing you do when you pull something out of a fryer, you season it. The server was nice enough, but they have a thing now where if you ask for water, they want to sell you a bottle of water. I get that things are tough for restaurants, but I almost rather pay a little more for the sandwich and get water, if you know what I mean. I'm no food expert, or running a restaurant expert, these are just my reactions as a local who stops in here fairly regularly. I think if the folks who run this place feel like there's any value to my little thoughts, they would be easy to fix and wouldn't cost anything at all really. I've been coming here for years, and I want these folks to do well.
