I tried the banana cream pie and it was amazing! Staff were super friendly and attentive!

Cute little place. There's a couple of shops around it but it is off the main road. A couple houses down. There outdoor seating and indoor seating. There's also a public restroom. The food was good we got a Dutch apple pie. I didn't know you could add ice cream ! I should have done that but it was delicious.

So good! Berries, blue cheese, chicken; a great combination in a salad.

Linn's Easy As Pie was just as good as it was years ago. The outdoor garden is a peaceful place to sit and enjoy nature and a nice lunch. The salad I had was amazing; so much flavor. It was huge! I couldn't finish it all. Can't go wrong at Linn's Easy As Pie!

I got a piece of olallieberry pie. I liked it better than the chicken pot pie though it was a little disappointing. It didn't have much flavor in terms of the fruit. The crust was fine although the way it was served to me was pretty messy. See picture.

Cute, quaint spot for a quick lunch. We stopped in after touring Hearst Castle, about a 15 mins drive south. Order at the counter. We got the turkey wrap and the grilled cheese with tomato soup, both were solid. The wrap was generous enough to split. The back patio has a relaxed, garden feel, and the restroom area was clean and well-kept. We didn't try the pies, but they looked yummy!

Chicken pie was awesome! Olalaberry cream puff was scrumptious! Sweet cafe dine outside on the patio!

Linn's Cafe overall is just ok. The food is not bad at all, but it is not spectacular either. The service was, however, excellent. The man behind the counter on our visit was very friendly, helpful, and efficient. On a Tuesday around 4:30-5:30 they were pretty deserted for dinner and it was quiet. There is limited street parking.nearby, but be sure to read the posted signage as we saw someone getting towed. There is also limited indoor and a bit more outdoor seating. You order at the register like fast food and they give you a number and bring you your food, but you bus your own table when you are done. We got the chicken pot pie, the tomato basil bisque, and the pecan and old fashioned apple pies. The chicken pot pie was not the creamy filling kind, but rather the soupy vegetable kind. The crust seems the same as the pies. The filling was not bad at all, but honestly it tasted like Campbell's vegetable soup. We just prefer the creamy filling for chicken pot pies. The tomato basil bisquealso tasted like Campbell's, which was ok for us because we like that. However, it was more acidic than Campbell's which was hard on the stomach. Unlike Linn's restaurant and other restaurants in town, Lin's Cafe serves you pies by the slice, except for Dutch Apple and one other because they are not popular enough in this area to sell by the slice. We definitely recommend getting any pie à la mode because the pies are just not good enough plain to enjoy without ice cream. Over the course of our stay in town, we tried several of Linn''s pies and the pecan is the best. None of the others are bad, just other places make them better than Linn's. Linn's old fashioned apple pie is just ok, bur, for example, the apple pie in Julian, San Diego, CA, is much better than Linn's. This is a tourist area and like everywhere it is impacted by inflation and CA minimum wage laws. Consequently, the pricing, especially for drinks, makes the value very low for what you get. We definitely recommend trying this place and trying their pies, but it is not a stellar experience. On the whole, Linn's restaurant is better dining experience. 3-4 stars is about right, 3 for the food and 4 for the service.

As a casual offshoot of the sit-down restaurant 'Linn's' next door, Linn's Easy As Pie Cafe provides counter service with a focus on their pies (both savory and sweet), but also providing a small selection of soups, salads, sandwiches. Our group of three stopped in between breakfast and lunch time on a weekday, and had an enjoyable meal. Located in the small village of Cambria, Linn's Cafe is one of many food ventures in the area founded and operated by the Linn family. The cafe started as an emergency replacement for their restaurant, when it was heavily damaged by fire in 2006. After the restaurant was moved back after remodeling, the replacement was kept going as a less formal cafe selling their very popular pies, including their savory chicken pot pie. It wasn't too busy when we stopped in. The menu is displayed on chalkboard, and a daily special board (sandwich, quiche, soup) on a post. We made our choice, ordering food and drink from the counter, paying for it using Toast POS, and found seating in the back. Cell service was spotty in Cambria, so the free wi-fi in the cafe was welcomed and used. The food was delivered tableside directly from the kitchen in about 10 minutes. Linn's Famous Chicken Pot Pie with mashed potato ($17) - the menu picture didn't really match what was given, and the real version was more deconstructed: It had a flakey pie crust on top, with the chicken and vegetable filling loosely below. It makes sense to serve it this way for more quickness but still maintaining that freshness of not maintaining it under a heat lamp. The filling had large chunks of chicken, and well cooked vegetables in a thinner but flavorful broth. It was good, and the accompanying whipped potatoes and gravy was a great addition. It ended up being one of my mother-in-laws favorite dishes on our trip. Grilled Cheese with cup of Tomato Bisque ($13) - a very good rendition of grilled cheddar cheese. The bread was sturdy and well toasted with butter butter under a panini press, and the cheese was good quality and quantity. It was absolutely delicious dipped in the good tomato soup. Of course, there is always a lot of soup left long after the sandwich is gone: I ate the rest of the soup gladly, which isn't always the case. Soda was self serve and $2 a can. In keeping with the theme, everything was disposable so we self-bussed. Before we left, I checked out the back patio dining area. It had plenty of shade and room, and would have been a good place to have a meal as well. It's also a good place to stop when passing through for a snack break, or just peruse souvenirs from Cambria.

Linn's Easy as Pie is a must try if you are in the Cambria area! Delicious food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. The wait time was about 45 min, but I will say it was worth the wait. The fish was perfectly battered and crispy. The crab melt was toasty and had great flavor. The coleslaw was different, but great! I enjoyed the bites of green apple and cranberry in there. I walked away with a full happy belly and ready to go back. They also have options to buy pies and have several shops in the back that sell more to go food items and have shops that sells home goods and more.

Not-so-hidden gem just off the Cambria strip. This cafe is behind the full service restaurant and up the alleyway. They serve salads, sandwiches, soups, and POT PIES!!! We had the chicken pot pie with mashed potatoes and gravy and I cannot recommend highly enough. So yummy! They have indoor seating as well as plenty of outside seating patio area. You can also buy fresh baked whole pies and slices to-go. If you want casual and delicious then this spot is perfect.

Super cute little cafe. We stopped in for one reason - Pie. I was so set on trying their Olalliberry pie, but once I saw their extensive pie menu, I couldn't decide among the Rasperry Rhubarb, Peach Blueberry, or our original choice - Olalliberry. What exactly is an Olalliberry?! I'm saddened to say we didn't stick to our original choice. When asked, the nice gentleman behind the counter said his favorite was the raspberry rhubarb because it's a bit tart - SOLD! We paired our pie with a mocha and sat at one of their patio tables. You guys this place is super charming! If you're looking for a place to stop in for a nice little treat between shopping, this is it!

    Beef pot pie
    Cassie J.

Came here 2 separate times on our short stay in Cambria, and tried 2 different pies 1 savory and 1 sweet. The savory, pictured here- a beef pot pie, which is a seasonal item, was delicious and a good switch up from the normal chicken pot pie. For the sweet pie, we decided to skip their famous ollalaberry pie and opted for the banana cream pie. This pie was SOOOO good, and would highly recommend.

    When you see this....you're there!!

Oh, my gosh! The Olallieberry pie is so delicious! Why have I not tried it before?! My first bite reminded me of a Razzleberry pie from Marie Callender's. Just the right amount of sweetness. The crust was perfection. I usually only eat the fruit inside of a pie, but this crust was crave-able. Cute cafe. Great service.

I've been coming to Lin's for years, and I have a bit of a confession to make... I've spent way…read moremore time admiring the bakery case than sitting in the restaurant. My mission is almost always the same: head straight for the pastries. The chocolate éclairs are my absolute weakness. They're the kind of dessert that makes you think, "I'll just have one," and then immediately start wondering if buying a second one would really be that unreasonable. They're perfectly light, filled with delicious cream, and topped with just the right amount of chocolate. In other words, they're dangerous--in the best possible way. Over the years I've sampled a variety of their other pastries, and they've all been consistently fresh and delicious. It's one of those rare bakeries where it's genuinely hard to make a bad choice. I usually leave with more than I planned because everything behind the glass seems to whisper, "You deserve this." Now, here's the funny part: despite being a regular customer for years, I still haven't actually eaten in the restaurant. At this point, it's almost become a running joke. I walk in with every intention of trying a meal, then the pastry case catches my eye and completely derails my plans. So while I can't personally review the restaurant, I can say this: if they put the same care and quality into their food that they do their bakery, I have to believe it's excellent. If you have a sweet tooth--or even if you don't think you do--do yourself a favor and stop by the bakery. Just don't blame me if you walk out with a box that's mysteriously heavier than you intended. Somehow, that always seems to happen.

We ordered the beef tenderloin tips, signature chicken pot pie, ollalieberry burger, and braised beef stroganoff. We especially enjoyed the beef tenderloin tips and the burger. The burger patty had a mild gamey flavor which I think is due to the cow being grass-fed (correct me if I'm wrong). Staff were also very friendly. The owner himself came out to talk to us. The restaurant is located in a quaint, picturesque town. We enjoyed walking around to see the other shops afterward. The parking lot was small but we were able to find parking. We got there on a Monday around 2PM and waited about 5-10 minutes to be seated.

And the onion rings were pretty boring. I don't think they make them there, I am not sure about that, though. But they had kind of a generic look and feel to them, but the problem was they had zero flavor. Like nobody put salt on them when they took them out of the fryer. That's the first thing you do when you pull something out of a fryer, you season it. The server was nice enough, but they have a thing now where if you ask for water, they want to sell you a bottle of water. I get that things are tough for restaurants, but I almost rather pay a little more for the sandwich and get water, if you know what I mean. I'm no food expert, or running a restaurant expert, these are just my reactions as a local who stops in here fairly regularly. I think if the folks who run this place feel like there's any value to my little thoughts, they would be easy to fix and wouldn't cost anything at all really. I've been coming here for years, and I want these folks to do well.

I have frequented both the Cambria and Fresno locations, partially due to the consistently decent service and mostly due to the quality and quick food. It doesn't matter if you show up right when they open, or if you arrive when there's a line out the door waiting to place orders, service is always much quicker than you'd expect. Food is decent--whether you get a salad (note-the side or small salad is huge--it fills a full to-go container), fish and chips, a sandwich or burger. Substitutions are usually not an issue, and ranch/bbq sauces are available at no extra charge. I'm generally impressed with how absolutely fresh the lettuce and veggies are for the salads. I really have grown used to spending $10 or more for a much smaller salad at other locations and have grown accustomed to picking out wilted/rotted veggies and lettuce. Not here-everything is cold, crisp and fresh. Meat is seasoned well-- and the fries are plentiful. There is usually plenty of seating, whether inside or on the patio. Parking can be rough along Main Street, but if you're patient, you can usually find something fairly close. It does help that the grill is towards the end of the street. Rest rooms are limited and often running low on supplies. It can be quite a wait during busy times. In all, this is a great place for quick and decent food. It is consistently enjoyable for the whole family. We'll definitely be back whenever we visit.

Good thing I could stumble back to my room nearby! It's a nice place and I definitely recommend if you're staying at the hotel. Even if you're not a guest I feel dinner menu is worth it.

This has become one of my favorite restaurants in Cambria. They had a puff pastry stuffed and topped with local mushrooms, pancetta, and a wine sauce. Zero exaggeration, this was one of the best things I have ever eaten. The texture and flavors were a culinary masterpiece. Unfortunately it was a special that night so no clue how often they have it For dinner I went with the pecan crusted halibut topped with a leek sauce and my wife had the fish and chips. Both completely outstanding. The fish and chips were so good I kept stealing off my wife's plate. My dish was equally as good. Even the broccoli was delicious!! Nothing was left on our plates. I'm not sure why they asked if it was our anniversary when they did zero for it. Don't ask if you don't care. Previous visit I had the lamb and my wife had the steak. Highly recommend you eat her. Call and make a reservation! Don't bother telling them it's your birthday or anniversary when they ask since they don't really care!

The quinoa bowel was a protein powerhouse. Very flavorful, well balanced and the portion size was huge! Calling in the order and pick up was quick. At 6:45 pm the restaurant was pretty quiet. It's too bad. People are missing out on this great food.
