Difficult to communicate with and gave me erroneous information while trying to mansplain. Also quoted me an outrageous price for installation that was more than the AC units! I almost went to Home Depot instead, but based on my previous experiences with PC Richard over the years, I gave them another chance. Called again and spoke with another sales rep who was super competent and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions patiently and took care of the COI's my managing agency required. He gave me a much more reasonable delivery and installation price compared with the first sales rep . Everything went smoothly and I am extremely happy with my new AC's. I guess my advice is to change sales reps if you're not satisfied because PC Richard generally has great ones.

When the technicians finally came to install it, they didn't notice that the drain pipe was cracked leaking. Now I don't even have a working dishwasher and my salesperson (Sal) says they need a few days to figure out if an entire new unit is needed. Sal said he'd give me a call but never did. This has been a huge headache and had I known the company was this crappy, I would've just ordered from Best Buy instead. I don't recommend PC Richard to anyone, this experience has been extremely frustrating and really makes me wonder about the competency of the employees. Update: PC Richard just sent me a delivery confirmation email where the installation technicians forged my signature that acknowledges the delivery was successful. I'm going to be reporting the signature forgery to the Better Business Bureau.

I paid for installation $195 and the installers didn't install the rear grill which apparently is a vital piece for this unit to work properly. For a month we were dealing with an AC unit that would blow cold air for 5min then just regular air. My smart plug told me, we paid over $100 just for that device. It took weeks to get a diagnosis, and the another week to get the part that the initial installers didn't take out of the box. On PC Richards 2nd attempt to install the missing part, that person came hours after the expected time at which point he could not install it. Now I have to wait again and take time off work dealing with this hot summer and no AC. Ultimately, we found someone else an extra $200 to install it correctly. For almost a month now, we were dealing with an AC unit that would blow cold air for 5min then just regular air. David Danon was the primary point of contact. He was nice initially so I decided to get the unit and give him the credit for the sale. I probably been on the phone with him over 10 times and he stopped being helpful. I had to call and visit the store in order to get the COI. Additionally, the installers asked for an additional $80 because they added a 2x4 for some reason...and when asked for a receipt the price suddenly became $40. I felt like I was doing business with a corrupt company. Plus, the installers caulked the window until into place. Now I can't remove it for the winter or if I leave the apartment. I'm so unimpressed.
