We came in on a weekday after dinner time and the shop was busy with customers from the second we came in to the moment we stepped outside. Service was efficient and friendly. The staff definitely does a good job of moving the line through quickly. I couldn't decide which flavors to try, so I went with a two scoop cone of Coffee & Cookies (coffee ice cream with Oreos) and Matcha Strawberry. Both were delicious and the portions for each scoop were generous. I couldn't even finish my cone. Pricing was fair and justified the product. Thrilled to have visited Fosselman's Ice Cream and it will definitely be a must stop spot the next time we're in the area! Please be aware, before your visit, they are a cash-only establishment.

They even sold candy which I kept staring at while I waited in line. Also it is cash only so definitely keep that in mind if you're like me and never carry cash on hand. There were so many flavors to choose from and we were able to sample a few. The lady helping us was really nice and was able to recommend some fan favorites and limited seasonal flavors! I ended up going with one of the fan favorites, which was the cookie monster. I just love cookies and cream in general so this was a safe option for me. I loved the different cookie bits that they had in there! It was also really fun because of how blue it was and stained my entire mouth. Luckily I had nowhere important to be after so maybe keep that in mind as well... Overall a great experience and I get why people waited in line for it!

Amazing taiyaki spot!…read more There's not too many in the SGV and they offer them at such an affordable price with tons of filling options. We also got a plain milk soft serve and it was probably one of the creamiest milks soft serve we've ever had. The self serve toppings bar is also a nice touch. The taiyaki came out pretty quick as well and they are located right next to golden deli, perfect to spot to grab some dessert after a warm bowl of pho.

This is in the same tiny plaza as Golden Deli and Bopomofo, so parking can be tough at peak dinner time. The good: the taiyaki texture was nice and crunchy. The ice cream was smooth and not icy. The price is good for amount you get. The bad: the store was extremely cramped and hot. It's a very tiny shop so easily felt packed inside. I was annoyed when they called my order but I was struggling to get through the shop to get my order. By that time the employee had walked away. I was annoyed because when she came back she completely ignored me and handed someone else their order and walked away. I don't understand why they keep the completed orders way behind the counter if they don't even verify the correct person is picking up... after being skipped over twice I finally cut in and interrupted the other employee for my order and she was like oh... sorry it's melted. Like yeah it's been sitting there and I didn't want to go into the employee area to get it! That was really irritating. The ube flavor was bland. It tasted like milk, I did not get any ube flavor. The custard in the taiyaki was just okay. The worst part was that the taiyaki had a really off putting taste on the outside... almost like the aftertaste of margarine or something, it bothered me. Overall the flavor and service was lacking and the experience inside was not good. I was not impressed by any aspect and would not recommend this place unless you were already dining in this plaza and wanted to just walk over.

Alfonso was extremely welcoming and easy to chat with felt like I was catching up with my friend's tio. All ice cream are made in-house. We stopped by right as they opened at 1pm and Alfonso apologized as some flavors might not have set enough to be served since he came in a bit late today. He usually comes in around 5am to prep when flavors are running low. Everything we tried wasn't too sweet. Definitely will be coming back and trying other flavors! Taro -so creamy, perfectly flavored and not overly artificial. Horchata -not too much cinnamon. Surprisingly good for it being water based, just enough creaminess from the condensed milk in it. Strawberry Jamaica -if you love strawberries, this flavor is it. Paired perfectly with chamoy and tajin. Mango -so refreshing, I added condensed milk on my own and chef's kiss. Wished they offered condensed milk here! Watermelon -liked this more than the Mango, but both are good. Chamoy and Tajin paired well! Mamey -creamy but the prefect amount of fruitiness. Also sooo good. Coffee -if you love Vietnamese coffee, this one is for you. It was so strong in a good way. We topped it with condensed milk at home and it was chef's kiss. Crack in a cup.. If you don't like strong coffee, stray away. Pistachio -tons of crushed pistachio throughout. Guanabana (soursop)- favorite flavor from water based we tried. It tastes just like the real fruit. Lime -just enough tanginess. My colleague ordered this and opted for no chamoy, personally felt like it was missing something but still good on its own. We topped it with condensed milk and also chef's kiss. Vanilla -sooo creamy and good, there is depth that I can't explain. Coconut- creamy coconut milk, not artificial flavor taste. Tons of coconut shreds if you don't mind texture. But it's a bit much if you get more than one scoop.

Now I can say, I found a place that's just like the guy down the street from my abuelita's in GDL. Yesterday, we stopped at La Garrafa MX on our way to LA. As we walked-in I felt the "Mexico vibe" we greeted and were greeted by staff and customers "buenas tardes, buenas tardes, buenas tardes." Loved it! Establishment had two other couples and then our group of three. Who I presume was the owner was very nice guiding us thru his best selling flavors and providing us samples. We talked here and there and our families are so close to each other in GDL and Tamazula so we decided he's our honorary cousin. Lol Nieve de garrafa surpassed my expectations and it's the closest you'll get the nieve de garrafa estilo Jalisco. We plan to return again today on our way back home. In the future this foodie won't mind making the 2hr drive for nieve de garrafa. P.s. we kept talking about it as we checked-in at our hotel so our front desk started craving it (small world- he's gone before) so he decided to go and have some after his shift.

My family and I like the wide variety of drinks that they have. But one thing that we always love to order is their mango and strawberry brick toast with the condensed milk and ice cream. Yes, it is sweet, but it definitely is meant to be shared. Price is here are more than reasonable. I feel like they don't charge an arm in a leg for their drinks so their desserts. This is I would think the median price. Or at least it happens to be when we are in the Monterey Park or San Gabriel Valley area. The consistency of their drinks is always appreciated. I love that they make teas as well as smoothies and milkshake type drinks. The wait time obviously will vary, depending on how many orders have been put in ahead of yours, but usually the wait time is not long. I feel like even when I've been here in the line to order is out the door, the way to receive your drink is still not a long time. There is a parking lot in the back. There's also street parking on the sides of this strip mall. I love coming here. The designs on their cup change throughout the year. I tend to reuse and repurpose my bottles that I get from here. My little one is still in elementary school. So I have found that their thin Crayola brand washable markers fit very nicely in these bottles, as well as their colored pencils.
