Probably the best burgers I've ever had from a restaurant chain. I highly recommend the garlic knots. Come hungry.

PROS: was not freezing cold in the restaurant like so many others that we've been to in the last few months; music was not too loud; lots of TV's with various sporting events being shown; we sat at the bar & the bartender was friendly enough; all of these get a 5-star rating! CONS: the food tasted like the seasonings & not the food!!! The onion rings that I had tasted almost exactly like the fish sandwich that they were with! Even my dining companion said that he could hardly taste the shrimp that he had because of how seasoned it was! So the food only gets a 1-star rating. I wish that restaurant owners/managers/chefs/cooks would realize that I (& most people) want my food to taste like the food it is!!! If I order a steak, I want it to taste like steak, not grilling marinade; fish should taste like fish, not the same as the onion rings! I know everyone deserves a second chance, but I probably won't go back. read more

I have been to this place twice with different guests. First visit I ordered the bacon avocado sandwich. It comes on foccacia bread that was delicious. Chicken was juicy, my only suggestion is this should come with some type of garlic aioli or mayo. One of my other guests asked the server what he recommended and he stated they are famous for their burgers however my guest ordered one medium rare and they informed they only cook to one temp, but still assured it would be amazing. Burger came out, dry as a hockey puck. The night we went they were swamped with to-go orders, informed us after taking our order it would be a while and yes we did wait quite a while. Server was still plenty attentive. Maybe that's why the burger didn't come out as good. The most recent dining experience was great as well, went on a Thursday not too busy. Ordered garlic knots for appetizer which came out great and loved the marinara and cheese sauce that was served on the side. I had the Philly cheesesteak which was so big I cut it in half for dinner the next night. Service was great albeit a little slow (no fault of the waiter) and I forgot to mention my 4 year old ordered the kids chicken tenders and fries which she loved. Pros- food is cooked to order, hot, and fresh. Servers are attentive, place is clean, lots of TVs, good ambiance Cons- when you first walk in the door and give the hostess your info, it can get backed up really quick where you are awkwardly half inside the restaurant and half holding the door for the next guest. Also, I feel they have an abundance of servers but the kitchen isn't as fast or well staffed not sure. Both visits the servers were congregating in front of the kitchen just waiting on the food. Other con is claiming fame to the burgers but only cooking them one temp. All in all, will definitely come back. Cool place, great food, great service. read more

As a spur of the moment idea we decided to take our grandpa 82 visiting from FL and our kids 5 and 17mo, out to dinner and needed to find a place close, fast, and good for all, where mama and dada could also relax and enjoy a strong drink but not break the bank or need to get dressed up... Bubbas 33 checked all the boxes! We called ahead about 45 min before we arrived and was able to get a veteran parking spot right up front ( thank you hubby and grandpa). Even though it was packed we were seated right away, and our server put the kids orders in with our drinks so their food came out fast. We had a lovely time. I loved the atmosphere and it wasn't too loud but just enough that when the kids were loud I didn't feel the eyes on us and need to apologize to anyone around us for it. Our service was great and the food was awesome! Usually bar food all seems the same to me- over priced frozen and reheated fried foods... Bubbas has fresh choices and I could tell the food was made to order, well plated and portioned. We'll definitely be back regularly! read more

Food is great and the menu has a lot to choose from. The fish and chips is our go-to but we've also had other great entrees.

We came here on a Sunday evening to avoid the large crowds/lines, and unfortunately we did not have a great experience. I ordered a small pizza and my wife ordered a burger. My wife's food came out very quickly, but with the wrong dressing blue cheese when she ordered ranch (which I can kind of understand as they look similar, but taste vastly different. My food (one small pizza) unfortunately took 30 mins to come out after my wife's food. My wife did not want to eat her meal until my food came out, causing her food to become cold and for her to feel guilty. My food finally came out and then the check, thankful for my wife being a ball buster as she was not going to have that as my food took 30 mins after her entire meal was delivered. Who knows maybe our waitress forgot to completely put my order in? Or that the kitchen lost the slip or forgot entirely. But for that being our first time there it was a rather bad experience, and for the manager to just say "sorry" and not give an explanation or coupon or discount. I found he did not have the best people skills. My wife said we will not be paying for my pizza due to their incompetence, and the waitress said I completely understand. We paid and still tipped our waitress. We will not be back. If you like sports, maybe just sit at the bar and order a beer as there are many televisions to watch sports on. read more

Two visits and just so disappointed with this outfit. The music is blaring and speakers are blown or from a bad online feed where twice now I've been asking just turn it down or at least play from a channel that is in tune. We've seen this happen on the west side before, where although the facility seems new and nice (Smokey Bones) the menu and service not so much. The menu is similar to Prodigy with burgers and mostly iceberg salads but pricey for the quality vs a CNRG option or similar. (the Coopers Hawk next door to this is also horrendous) The bevg draft list is like many chains where it's limited to Bud light or similar national lines with only a couple of what would be considered craft options. The restroom for day two of being open was not terrible but you can see what is coming soon as it already is showing signs of wear and tear just 2 days open. I've had nothing but great experiences at the Bubba's in Fishers, but the Avon location is another story. We've been to this location twice. The first one was okay. The food was good but they were out of a couple beers we wanted to order. The second visit wasn't so great. I ordered chicken tenders with tots and a side salad. My wife ordered a burger with fries. When the food was brought out, both the tots and fries were room temperature at best. My salad came after everything else was brought out. I told our server that my wife's fries were cold. She actually stuck her hand into the stack of fries to check. She took the plate away and literally came back 30 seconds later with more cold fries stacked on top. Presumably the fries she stuck her fingers in were still on the bottom. At that point I went up to the hostess stand and asked for the manager. A nice lady said she was the manager. I explained the situation and she immediately went back to the kitchen. A few minutes later, a runner delivered a basket of fresh hot fries. She asked if I wanted new tots, and I declined. I told her I would just share the basket of fries. By this time, my wife started on her burger. It was undercooked and red in the center. We just decided to call it a night at that point. We were offered an apology but no adjustment to the bill. Ultimately, I guess they made it right by bringing out a basket of fresh fries. Not sure where the problem was. The only things really right were my chicken tenders and salad. Really, how hard is it to serve hot food? Either the cooks did the fries and tots too early and let them sit until everything else was done, or the server left them sit too long. It wasn't particularly busy either, so really no excuse. read more

What a fun, action packed place! Lots of people, music, graphics and TVs, making the eye travel through the entire restaurant. Food very good! I had chicken tenders, chili and broccoli! Not a dud in the group. Crispy, good spice and cooked to perfection! Absolutely fun place with something for everyone. Love the new Bubbas 33!!!! And the service, excellent!! read more

I have been to this location at least 6 times since they opened . Always wonderful food and service . BUT after tonight I doubt we will go back . Need to see who the 3-4 managers were working tonight 9/13/24 . They need to be reminded that the customers wants are what matters . They had a music video playing on most TV's that was so Loud it hurt our ears . Asked our waitress if they could turn it down . She tried , one manager told her will think about it . Had a female manger going to each table ( like they normally do) I told her the music was way too loud , she said WHAT ! I said the music is way too loud , she glared at me and walked away . They were packed ! The table next to us was a mom/girl about 5 , the girl was screaming/holding her ears . The mom goes let's leave . The waitress was very very nice ! Kept apologizing for the loud music . Music video was not appropriate for the customer's . Mangers need to use common sense when speaking to customers. Yesterday, May 17:was opening day for the restaurant. Parking lot was full but we were seated right away. TVs everywhere. Noise level was high. Reminded me of a cross between BW3 and Texas Road House. My wife had a burger. She said it was a little greasy but good. I had chicken tenders with tater tots. Tasty and large serving. Millie was our waitress. Impressed how well she knew the menu even though it was their first day. I believe they had a special crew in that specialized in grand openings . They kept things running well. Service was quick. Staff was friendly. Food was good and prices seemed fair. I highly recommend this restaurant read more

Food is good. Service was prompt and attentive. Drinks are overpriced and stingy. $9 for a 16 oz beer. Mixed drinks are worse with glasses "packed with ice". Stick with water or colas for value. Ambiance is as expected for a sports bar. All in all better places in Avon to spend your money. O read more

My wife and I had dinner here not too long ago and the food was good. Tonight I ordered takeout and it was horrible. When I got home the first thing we noticed was that the avocado was rotten on my wife's sandwich and it had fallen apart in the container. When I opened mine I had one piece of avocado on my sandwich that was brown. I ordered Mac and cheese for a side and it was literally cooked macaroni with no cheese at all! I don't know how their quality went down hill so fast, but we will not be going back. read more

Oh man, this place is GREAT. Here at least 2 or 3 times a month, love the burgers, pizza and salad, great decor and service.

18oz margarita for $8 is an 18oz glass filled with ice and four sips of drink! Then ordered a 10oz margarita with no ice and got the same amount of drink for 1/2 the price! read more

We go here often good food, but yesterday the music was so loud we had to shout to be hear and the waitress had to shout as well, asked the manager if they could turn down the music and she said no, that Bubba's is known for loud music and corporate sets the volume, really! So we went to Bubba's33 in Avon and someone gave me a birthday card with money in it and I called to see if someone turned it in and I was told they couldn't find it and they told they were sorry but no one turned it so I am so disappointed my daughter told her waiter that we were there to celebrate 2 birthday's and they never bought out a cake for us or help celebrate our birthdays I went to there page and posted a review and it was taken down smh I will never go there again this was my first time at this restaurant and I wanted to celebrate my birthday and my daughter in law birthday and wanted to try it out now I know that there are dishonest people working there read more

I stopped in Bubba's 33 with a friend for lunch. I got the Philly cheesesteak and onion rings. They were both excellent. The boba sauce is really tasty. I think it was probably for the onion rings , but I poured it over my sandwich, and it took the cheesesteak up to another level. My friend got the classic cheeseburger and onion rings, and he was very happy. The onion rings were the best I have had in a long time. Our server was very friendly and did a great job. The atmosphere was really nice. There is a tv everywhere you look, and the music was at an appropriate level, where you could have a conversation. I ordered a large deluxe pizza to go, for dinner and it was really good too. It was thin crispy crust and it had really good flavor. FOOD is bland. I ate in once and the burger seemed ok. I got take out twice and both times food wasn't very good. I am starting to wonder if they treat their take out guest differently. Both times I had to wait way longer than they told me to pick up. Today, I even got a text that my food was ready to pick up at 4:24. So I walk into get it and they made me stand there 20 minutes! Not the best experience. We went late in the day (8:45) on Memorial Day, and ordered the salmon dinner. Not a lot of people were there at that time, but it was a bit of a wait. When the food came the salmon and broccoli were warm-ish - not at all hot. The rice was a bit over room temperature - far from hot. When our waitress checked on us, we explained the problem and asked for a "to go" box, not knowing how much of an additional wait we'd have if we asked for reheating. She unfortunately did nothing to try to make amends. Good news - our microwave did the trick, and it was really good. Bad news - no apology was forthcoming from anyone for delivering tepid, at best, food. The staff needs a lesson in customer service if they want return customers. read more
