One of the newer spots close to work, I went with a friend. The atmosphere is very 'busy', somewhat annoying. The server told us about their specials, but when I ordered a light version of one of their beers on specials, I was told that one was NOT on special (weird?!). My friend got pizza, I got a burger. Neither of us got silverware. The service and food were nothing to write home about. I do like the fact that they can open their walls up to get an outside breeze, but we weren't seated there. Can't make a medium rare burger apparently to save their lives! Don't come here to watch sports cause soon as they screw up your order they will also change your game and bring you cold fries apparently from your 1st well done order .... definitely do Not recommend! I went here before a concert to grab a quick bite. I got the wings with a Cajun rub & raspberry glaze. They were so tasty!! They had a nice selection of beer on tap too! The place was neat on the inside with flat screen TVs like a sports bar, but then high top tables & stools that make you think of an old school diner. I'd go back for sure! read more

Yum yum yum. Firstly this place has TVs everywhere And is a perfect place to hit up for game day! Two separate areas from the Bar and seating. When it's warm out, they also have outdoor seating and slide up the doors. I had the fiesta dip as an appetizer. It was so good ( I've tried to remake it at home & failed). The hot wings are really hot. I couldn't take the heat and I love spicy foods. I wasn't a fan of the chicken and shrimp pasta but the lasagna is great. $4 margaritas are huge and you honestly only need 1. The prices here are reasonable and the energy is good read more

So this was my first time having food from this place. My family ordered take out and I was very impressed. I will say that I was a little upset at some of the older photos that are in yelp as I was trying to figure out what pizza to order and one of the menu picture said they had a Philly cheesesteak pizza, when I looked up the new menu, they did not serve this pizza. So that was a little disappointing. I will say we ordered the meat lovers, the buffalo chicken, and the Bubba's 33 pizza. I will say I only ate the Bubba's 33 pizza but it was DELICIOUS! I will warn customers though the peppers are in big slices not pieces. I didn't mind but just want people to be aware. The firecracker shrimp is amazing and would highly recommend this. read more

I have been here when the line was 30 people long and the employees and servers still were working efficiency with genuine kindness and efficiency to be matched by any establishment! My wife and I ordered a hamburger and both came out fine. However I bit into something hard in the burger breaking my tooth. I expect that this does not happen often but it did happen to me. I came here before venturing over to Fry's Electronics. The computer store has become a sincere disappointment, but Bubba's made the trip worth it. There are large screen TVs all over the place with all the current games on. Tasty frozen beverages and good bar type food. It's good and you know it just by seeing how busy it is. They have a call ahead seating and I recommend using it. We sat in the bar which was fine, but if the kids were here it would have taken a while for a table, even on a Sunday afternoon. read more

I stayed at a nearby hotel and gave their takeout service a go. Had wings and they were really good. Well cooked and lightly seasoned. I usually order the sauce on the side. The sauce was very good and they supplied plenty for my order. I got there at the exact time that my order was scheduled to be ready and it was delivered to my car shortly after my arrival. Every time I come here it's been a god experience! Tonight we had Tory. We were a party of 10 that included two small children and a couple of teens. We sat at two tables across from one another which was fine with us. We ordered appetizers, drinks, and entrees. Tory and the kitchen got everything right! Service was great. Food was great. My daughter and I had lunch at Bubba's (Hall Road) yesterday. Our server was exceptional! The Garlic Knots were very tasty and hot. I usually steer clear of ordering chicken breasts of any sort because more often than not, the edges are hard and the meat is extremely dry. The Southern Fried Chicken with garlic mashed potatoes sounded so good, so I ordered it. The chicken was so tender and flavorful!! I'd get it again in a heartbeat. I did get a side of Macaroni and Cheese, which was absolutely terrible. There was so little cheese on it; all of the noodles were not covered with cheese. I would have been embarrassed to call it macaroni and cheese, let alone serve it to anyone. read more

Went here for the Super Bowl. Tons of TVs, probably 75% were tuned into the game and the audio was being played throughout the restaurant. So it was an awesome place to watch. I don't really post reviews, but the team at this location took great care of our lacrosse team after a long day of travel and games. As soon as we walked in, the hostess was very welcoming. They arranged for us to have several tables together and even found the Blackhawks game for us on a nearby tv. Lastly, the service and food were great! Bubba's is open for indoor dining. First time here. The employees are very nice and friendly. Every employee was happy and fulll of smiles. I ordered the Salmon dinner. It came with choice of 2 sides. French fries, sweet potatoe fries, broccoli, side salad, mashed potatoes, and a couple other choices that I can't remember. I ordered the side salad and sweet potatoe fries. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The side salad was full of diced tomatoes, cheese, sliced onions, and crispy thinly sliced onions on top. The portion was big. The salmon and staff gives this eatery 5 stars. read more

We sat at the bar and I believe out bartender was Kyle. Just want to shout him out-- super personable. We sat down and he introduced himself with a handshake and asked our names, then continuously used them through the meal when checking in on us. Awesome! We split the garlic knots, I had the ribeye steak, my BF had the hot & spicy chicken sandwich. He can't stay away from that, I feel like that's all he orders! We don't live in Fishers but know we can always stop in here for a good experience if we are ever up this way again. I sat at the bar in the bar area with the sides open. The po' boy was very good. The bartender seemed nice enough & was well liked by the regulars, I just found it extremely difficult to get his attention for food and drinks With the exception of my arrival & departure, he didn't ask if I needed anything. I actually had to call him out by name one time when waving at him didn't work. It was a busy bar but not THAT busy. But the reason for the 2 stars is because I kept smelling rotting garbage like the behind grocery stores. It was a little windy but it was most strong when the wind stopped. Very good wings. I had the two hottest flavors for my wings. They were not hot enough. Bdubs and Wings Etc have much hotter top heat levels than Bubba's. However, they were very tasty. My life got the smoked chipotle. You could really taste the smoked flavor. The onion rings are awesome. The beer selection is very good. We will return on a trip to Indy sometime. read more

The food at this place was great. The mozzarella sticks and a fried pickles or so incredibly yummy. Not only was the food great but our waitress was amazing and the manager even came over to check on us to see how we were and how the service was and I thought that was really nice to. Kale Quinoa Salad! 5 stars! I took a pic of the menu so I could duplicate this at home! They did not skimp on anything, especially the pecans! The half order of onion rings was worth busting the diet too! And wash it down with the Sangria Margarita... a little sweet dessert too! A nice tip for the month of June- they donate $1 for every Patriot Burger sold to Homes for Our Troops, a top rated military charity. Found out same ownership as Texas Road House which we love and never disappointed! Bubbas we knew nothing about so we gave it a whirl while visiting Indy at Fishers location What a pleasant surprise! Started off with half order of onion rings my wife and I which were lightly breaded not greasy and had a unique flavor Best onion rings we ever had Had two dinner salads that were very good very similar to Texas Roadhouse with eggs real bacon bits tomatoes but topped with like those fried onion straws lightly The salads were twice as big as ones at TRH delicious I had salmon my wife had fishn chips Both were very good and tasty also large portions Glad we skipped lunch and ate a late dinner or we couldn't possibly had the dessert we shared I forgot name but was in an Oreo round bowl shape with high quality vanilla ice cream homemade Carmel topped with toasted pecans it was amazing We ate way too much but was worth every bite Can't wait to find another Bubba 33 on our travels I very seldom give five stars or do reviews but I wanted to spread the word on this great restaurant read more

Excellent. First time visit. We sat in the bar because it was immediate seating. Both tried the guacamole bacon burger. I ordered the hot fries. My wife ordered regular. Next time I'll get the regular. My tongue was on fire. Went through 4 glasses of water. Good atmosphere. Typical burger bar with one exception. Bubba's was friendlier than most we've been to. Every employee was there to make sure each customer has a great experience. You owe this place a visit based on that alone. Even the owner introduced herself to us. Every once in a while I get hungry for good American bar food and Bubba's didn't disappoint. I had the mushroom burger. The burger patty was seared on the outside correctly. The mushrooms were tasty. A little too much garlic mayo but it was decent. Coated fries on the side. My son had the shrimp po'boy. It was a deep fried shrimp and lettuce (no tomatoes by request) on soft hoagie roll. The only issue is that Bubba's puts a sweet sauce on the fried shrimp. It should come on the side so customers can decide how much that want. Onion rings on the side were good. Horrible To Go experience. I placed a To Go order and showed up and notified the restaurant of my arrival, which was 5 minutes early. I received a missed call immediately after I notified the restaurant of my arrival by text, according to the instructions texted to me. I called them right back which took no more than 10 seconds after the restaurant called me. Carson stated he would notify the to go person I had arrived. I sat and waited patiently. About 15 minutes later another car pulls up behind me and gets their order about 5 minutes later. The to go lady (Victoria) asked what my name was and states, "oh yea I saw your order it's ready, I just have to pack it up really quick." I ordered an appetizer and wings that's it....I wait patiently again. Now it's been 31 minutes that I have been waiting so I call back and state my name and that Victoria stated she was packing my food up, however it had now been 31 minutes (total) that I have been waiting and I think she forgot about me. Carson stated he would "send her out now." I continued to wait and about 10 minutes later (41 minutes total of waiting) Carson comes out and states, "yea what happened was your order had been sitting out too long so they threw it out and started to re-make it now." I informed him I was going to cancel the order, but now that it's almost 10pm other places are closed. He offered to see how long it would be and I stated can you please let me know because I was just going to say forget it and get a refund. He offered to go check and come back and let me know. Again I wait. I can't go inside because I have my young daughter with me who is now asleep in the car with no shoes on. I DID NOT receive an update from Carson and after waiting in the designated to go spot closest to the door for 1 hour, Victoria returned with the order and stated, "I'm so sorry yea that's what I was saying when I told you earlier that the kitchen was backed up.... I tried to call all my to go orders to let them know before they come that yea I know your order says a time the order will be ready, but the kitchen has been backed up all day." I informed her I DID NOT receive a call from her or anyone else with this information, nor did I receive this information during my 1st encounter with her in which she said she saw it was ready and she just need to pack it up really quick. My fiancés wings weren't great, undercooked. Shrimp was ok, however both of my kids were asleep and I was unable to pick up an order from target bc this whole orders took way longer than is should have. I would like to say I would give them another chance because things happen, however after they received and automatic tip from me and many false promises, 1hr waiting at the restaurant and no real attempt to rectify the situation and compensate me for failures in the system on their part...I'm afraid I can't order from Bubba's again. read more

My family and I came here today after church. The food was just okay. The menu is inexpensive (under $25). I was unimpressed by the menu (wings, pizza, burgers) so I just played it safe and got chicken fingers and fries. Both were just okay. They weren't busy at all. We were able to walk right in and get seated. Although our party was fairly large 6 adults and 2 children, we waited a very long time for our food. Overall my experience was just okay. First time in Indianapolis and first time here. As promised, the employees were very friendly and the food was pretty good. Not as promised, they are not following COVID safety precautions. No employees were wearing masks and the host initially tried to seat us in a section loaded with people and we had to request to sit somewhere else. When we asked him to do that, he said, "why?" No kidding! As the man sitting in the table adjacent coughed up a lung without a face covering. I am vaccinated and still wear masks, and my friend who I was visiting is the same. But my friend is immune-sensitive, had not been out to eat in over a year, and thought this place was going to follow the procedures it advertised, and it didn't. My husband & I were out running errands and decided to stop and treat ourselves to lunch! We had never been to Bubba's 33 before and we are so happy we tried it, We had the crispy fried pickles for an appetizer and they were so wonderful!! I had the Triple Crown margarita and could have ce easily ordered a second one!! My turkey and bacon sandwich on their homemade focaccia bread was so, so delicious!! My husband had the chicken fried chicken and loved it!! We will definitely be back!! All the servers from our host to our waitress were wonderful!! read more
