    $4 Margaritas

First off last time the drinks came out slow also. At 5:15 pm. This time the took forever and I didn't even get the second one. Not sure if this problem is with the bartender or the waitress. Our waitress which was new had our table of 7 and the table next to us which was 8 adults and another table across the restaurant. 5 of us ordered the California chicken which is amazing !! It took us about 30 minutes just to get the bill and then it was messed up in the machine you have to pay on. Just saying not sure when I will be back since both times the service was slow.

Stopped in here for lunch since we hadn't been there in forever. It definitely didn't disappoint. We were promptly seated in the bar area which was a nice quiet lunch area. I ordered a watermelon margarita which was a 10oz for 4$ I personally should have ordered a bigger one but it's a good size for a quick lunch time drink. Hubby ordered a beer and it was ice cold and fresh. We got the combo appetizer which was the perfect size for 2. The cheese stick curly things were so good they are the best cheese sticks. Fried pickles were a bit salty for my liking. The boneless chicken wings were amazing. Light breading, juicy and you could actually taste the meat. Comes with 3 different sauces for dipping which complimented each item well. I ordered the habanero cheeseburger it had a breaded fried slice of spicy cream cheese, grilled jalapenos, grilled onions, lettuce and tomato. The bun was soft, the meat was juicy and definitely didn't lack spice. It was absolutely delicious though. Just beware of you don't like spicy it might not be the right option for you. I also got the fire fries which are heavily dusted with a dry spice. They remind me of grippo potato chips. Hubby ordered the Dicky Vs pizza as they have a special on Tuesday for a small pizza. It had Italian sausage, cherry peppers, fresh basil, Parmesan cheese and a garlic butter crust. He said he wouldn't order again only because the stems were left on cherry peppers which make it hard to eat. Crust was soft with a bit of a crunch. Our server Amber was amazing and very friendly and talkative and overall just a delight. Sam the manager was amazing as well. We only had an interaction with her for a coupon we had which she took care of immediately. Absolutely an amazing experience and so glad we stopped in for lunch today.

I had Bubbas last week as an mid week pick me up! Our waiter Oscar was very nice and answered all our questions. He was very knowledgeable. They had plenty of televisions on the walls so we could watch The Pacers play. We ordered an appetizer sampler which included fried pickles, garlic parmesan boneless wings, and mozzarella twists. argue fried pickles were the best part and it made me wish we had ordered a full order! We split the club sandwich with fries. The club was huge and definitely enough to two people. I would definitely would order it again!

Fried Fish Sandwich with Tater Tots

I struck out downtown trying to eat lunch due to a lack of parking or broken or inoperative parking kiosks so I headed south to Greenwood and found familiarity at Greenwood Place. Bubba's was crowded for lunch at noon with a couple of people waiting briefly at 12:15 but there were plenty of empty tables. Maybe they didn't have the server staff? The bar dining area was packed. This is another overdecorated establishment giving you lots of wall decorations to gander at and the large TV screens are packed in wall to wall. I ordered the Fried Fish Sandwich which consists of a cod fillet dressed with tomato, lettuce, pickle and mayonnaise. A cup of tarter sauce comes with it as well. I chose the Tater Tots instead of the two fries choices. The sandwich was good as were the tots. I glanced at the dessert menu afterwards but decided not to partake. Soft drink choices are very limited. Service was fast all around. I was greeted and seated immediately. Drink order taken promptly and my food order taken when my drink was brought out. The food arrived shortly thereafter. Good service! The restroom was clean and stocked. I had no problem finding a close parking space in the large shared private lot.

Dined-in for lunch with family while visiting Indy. Nice sized restaurant with plenty of parking and seating. Our server was very nice, however she took a long time to take our orders. Disappointed to see that there were little to no gluten free options outside of salads. I ended up enjoying nachos that tasted okay. Nothing spectacular about them and I've had better. Wish I could have had a burger but maybe one day they will offer GF buns. Nice place to have a quick lunch however I can't say that I would come back to this restaurant as it was not very memorable.

Bacon Cheeseburger and Fried Pork Sandwich

Bubba's 33 definitely supports Veterans, which is great! We ordered the Fried Pork Sandwich (huge!), and the Bacon Cheeseburger (it's a double patty)....everything tastes great and I recommend if you're in the area. p.s. I've also had the Hawaiian pizza and throughly enjoyed it too! It's a thin crust with some corn meal under the crust.

This restaurant has a very steakhouse feel. However, it is more of a sports bar atmosphere. Lots of wood and brick, but tons of TVs literally covering the entire upper level of the walls are covered in TVs. There's a big bar that is separated from the rest of the restaurant Has a a lot of things on its menu, including salad sandwiches, pizzas burgers even some pasta dishes. A ton of sports bar kind of appetizers. The waitress greeted us right away after we were taken to our table. She was friendly. It seems as if the music was a little too loud, and it was pretty cold inside. The food was good, not incredible, but very good. I got lasagna which they said was one of their signature dishes. It had tons of cheese, Italian sausage noodles and sauce. It was creamy and just a little garlic. It came with a piece of garlic toast. That was very good, my wife got the California chicken which came with rice which was rice with peppers, carrots, etc. in it. The chicken was a chicken breast with avocado, pico jack cheese and a scratch made honey lime sauce. She said it was excellent kind of had a pineapple taste. That she got a salad with dressing and fries. They were crispy and light had a good taste to them and the salad had lots of toppings on them, including some potatoes that look like potato chips. Great first experience at this restaurant.

Our service was appropriately paced for the time it takes to make a Chicago deep dish pizza. I liked the TVs they had in the center of our dining area, which had some pre-season football coverage. The booths have taller partitions so it feels more intimate. I also liked the marquee saying "EAT PIZZA". I will certainly follow instructions there! The pizza we got was "The Special": sausage, green pepper, onion, and mushroom. I thought the pizza was fine, my only thing about Chicago style is that the vegetables can't caramelize like they would on a regular pizza. But that's just a personal opinion. I am pleased with the range of mocktail offerings, which are all $7.

No pizza place from my home state can't compare so Giordano's is always something to look forward to during our 4 day visit. Meat and more meat! This was our table's pizza that was split between 4 people. Honestly can't complain, I love all of their pizza but since we only visit once a year, we always order deep dish style. Never fails and always leaves us full! Carnivore? Then you should definitely order this dish! Make sure it's the biggest one too! Calabrian Chili Honey Chicken Wings Ok so I can't be entirely biased with Giordano's. We wanted to try this out since it was a limited chicken wing flavor and honestly it wasn't the best. I mean it's a pizza joint? They specialize in pizza but we were so hungry that we figured to try it out. Hey, if you love chicken wings or just an enthusiast for wings in general, by all means give this one a shot if it's still available! Overall Always excited to come to Indiana cause I KNOW I'll be eating some damn good pizza. Deep dish style isn't for everyone which is nice that they have their Tavern Style and Thin Crust Pizzas. But since Giordano's specializes in deep dish pizza, it's highly recommended to order deep dish style! can't wait to visit again next year and see what new pizza they'll have! And can't forget about the awesome servers doing their best on those busy convention nights! Y'all the real MVP's! Ambiance is warm and inviting with a bit of high noise since it's also got a bar but it never phases me, if anything it's relaxing since I know I'll be indulging into pizza goodness. Just remember to come hungry and you'll guaranteed to leave happy! See you next year Giordano's!

I have to laugh that my first review for this location of Bazbeaux, an Indy pizza icon since 1986,…read morewas actually my 300th Yelp review. Now, I'm over 1800 reviews and Yelp has become a huge part of my life. I was attending a nearby event related to Indy Shorts Film Festival and decided I wanted to visit Mass Avenue a bit once the event was over. This was early afternoon. After looking around a bit, I opted for a long-awaited return to Bazbeaux. Of course, a lot has changed in this area in the last few years. Parking prices are up (way up), though it's pretty plentiful with nearby street parking (metered) and parking along Mass Avenue. You also have a couple nearby parking garage options. Finding an accessible spot is fairly easy - curb cuts remain solid in this area and there continue to be some (but not all) crosswalks with audio. As was true nine years ago, accessibility on Mass Avenue can be challenging. That said, I think it has improved. I entered Bazbeaux and immediately noticed some improvement right away. There are two sides - a dining side, a bar side (with tables), and an aisle you can use for carry-out. The interior is warm, calming, and surprisingly intimate. The bar area is a bit louder, it's a bar area after all, but it's still pretty quiet. Service here remains strong. The hostess offered the bar area or a booth. Tables are not all wheelchair friendly, however, there are quite a few accessible options. My server, Samuel, was friendly and attentive without being overwhelming. He paced my meal nicely - I ordered garlic bread, my usual unsweetened iced tea (I think they still serve Mighty Leaf - an unusual choice that I love). I ordered a small (10") pizza with one-topping (pepperoni). I lingered a little bit, though not excessively so like my last visit. This time around, I was alone and my meal time was more traditional. The prices were definitely higher than last time, however, what price isn't higher than nine years ago? They were on park with the market these days and I had no issues with it - I think my meal came in at about $19 for the pizza, garlic bread, and iced tea (and I did get my always desired refill). Bazbeaux is unique in that every location (Mass Ave, Broad Ripple, Carmel) is located along the Monon Trail. They all have outside dining options, as well. They serve beer and wine, sandwiches, pizza, and more. One thing I have to say - accessibility is improved. I was noticeably bothered by it the last time I was here. This time around, I was comfortable and could easily function (I did not try the bathroom). While I could still see it being a bit difficult when packed, I arrived at an ideal time and was quite comfortable. The food was good, the service was very good, the prices were fair, and the atmosphere was nice and peaceful after a busy morning event. It really hit the spot. So, yeah. Last time around, I gave Bazbeaux a 3-star review. This time, I'm forking over that 4th star.
