So we didn't mean to come here. I picked the wrong destination on Google Maps, and I'm very glad we did! I was going to play it safe and go to a burger chain I knew. However, we ended up at Bubba's & had a really great pizza! Having grown up outside NYC, I'm picky about pizza. The server recommended pizza or a burger. We chose the veggie pizza and onion rings. Onion rings were good! Veggie pizzas can be tricky. We skipped the tomato and it was perfect. Great crust, and cooked so the veggies did not make the crust soggy. Service was good and prices were average. If I'm ever in Tyler again, I will come by Bubba's! read more

we have gone to bubbas and really like it, except it was too cold in there! We had to leave the last two times we have been because of cold temperature in restaurant and bar. Arrived on Saturday about 2:30 and had to wait for 15 minutes to be seated. The wait was worth it. All the food was delicious. We got the chorizo Queso and chips appetizer, so yummy. Ordered Fish and chips, BBQ chicken pizza and a burger with fries. All the food was amazing. The cod fish was so perfect. Loved the fire fries and the tartar sauce that had a little kick to it. They were busy and we still got great service. Our server was Hanna and trainee Mason. No complaints. Can't wait to go back. read more

I'd like to put 3 1/2 stars but can't. Walked in and told host table for 3 and she replied "it's a 20 minute wait, is that okay"? To which we replied "yeah". We then shifted to make room for the next people to approach the host stand. A couple of minutes pass and a different host asks us "so did y'all want to get added to the wait list"?.....Finally get to a table was greeted timely and drink order came in good time also. We then ordered appetizers and a person in our group order 1 sprite, 1 shot, & 1 beer. Our server was CONFUSED. Our friend got a shot of sprite and a shot. in the midst of us trying to get this straight with our server, a second server brings our queso. He sat it on the table and didn't say anything, so a person in our group went to move it to the middle of the table and burned his hand!! The server LAUGHED and said "yeah, it's hot"....menus were disgustingly dirty with dried food on them. May wait a while before returning. read more

New restaurant in town so me and the hubby dropped in for a lunch date. We almost walked out and left because we were 5 minutes early and the host told us we could not sit inside we had to stand outside in the rain and cold. The lead managers just so happen to catch us going out the door and allowed us to sit inside the door while they finished preparing. Really nice ladies and helped redeem my customer service opinion. Our waitress was good. You could tell she was new and learning (she seemed nervous but she was friendly and did great on giving the welcome to Bubbas speech) The atmosphere is full of TVs with music and sports going. Can be a little noisy but it's also new and lots of people so the noise is expected. The food was excellent! We tried the bubbas queso and garlic knots for appetizers. (They are very decent portions!!) The queso had a jalapeño sauce drizzled on top with homemade chorizo and pico. It's not spicy but has great flavor. The tortilla chips are made in house with in house seasoning...good chips! The garlic knots are big and fluffy and covered in Parmesan. They smell amazing when they first came out. We got the spicy habanero burger...it has plenty heat to give just enough kick! Messy but worth it and great flavors! We also got the bacon cheese burger and I added the fried jalapeño cream cheese to it. Delicious burger. Comes with fries. My hubby added the chili and cheese to his fries. The chili is delicious...it is made homemade in house! Overall the food was great and the environment was nice. I really loved the table reserved for Veterans and the fact they honored our fallen heroes. They have nice bar area and plenty of adult beverages to choose from and drink specials. Since they are a newer location they were super busy so there was a tiny wait time- BUT even with being so busy the wait time was far less than we expected!! our server, Tony, was amazing! I got the ribeye steak and my husband got the chipotle pasta - both of us LOVED our food- the steak was cooked perfectly, it tasted so good! Definitely enjoyed our experience here! We stopped here while we were visiting family in Texas over Thanksgiving. It was pretty crowded for mid-afternoon, but it was Black Friday. Our wait was only about 15 minutes, so not too bad. We each got a different variety of the lemonade - blackberry, mango, strawberry, and Big Blue (which I assume is blueberry). The blackberry is my favorite, but any of them would be a good choice. My husband and older son each got burgers. I don't remember the name of the menu item, but my older son's choice was the burger with guacamole on it. He said he had no idea he needed guac on a burger until he ate at Bubba's 33! The burger seasoning was some of the best I've ever had anywhere. I got the bacon avocado sandwich with loaded tots. The sandwich was superb - the chicken was flavorful and not the least bit dry, bacon was crispy, and you can't ever go wrong with avocado. The loaded tots were delicious, and I had enough to share a couple of bites with the rest of the family. My younger son got the stromboli and said it was one of the best he'd ever had. Great experience for us! We'll be back when we visit family, and we sure wish Bubba's 33 would open up in Baton Rouge! read more

We've been anxiously awaiting the opening of Bubba's and it did not disappoint! We were there the second night they were open and were seated after a short wait. The atmosphere is a little loud and definitely lively, in a fun way. I'm not sure I could take my dad who has a hard time hearing, although he'd actually probably be happy to watch whatever game is on and eat some wings. The menu is fairly basic bar food - burgers, sandwiches, pizza, with some pasta dishes, but from what we've tried here and at the Longview location, it's all done well. Decent beer selection on tap, although there could be a few more IPAs. Kids menu has some decent options, or you could all go in on a couple pizzas. Will definitely be back soon! read more

HORRIBLE KITCHEN SERVICE. THEY CUT CORNERS WHEN CORRECTING THEIR OWN ERROR. My online order "special instructions " were not followed (all veggies on the side). Staff was extremely gracious & offered to Remake it for me. When I returned home, I realized that they only scraped off the veggies from the burger (guac & onions still very visible on the meat& bun). The ONLY reason they get 1 star is because the manager was very helpful & apologetic & offered a refund. I'll stick to Mc Donald's for that type of service. read more

I've only done curbside so I can't speak for the inside or service. They make a really good Philly Cheesesteak and that's what I come for. My mom & sister said their burgers are really good. The only complaint I have is there's no way to check in through the app or if you order online. Their sign says to wait for their text, but I have yet to receive a text when I do a curbside order. I end up having to call which requires you to sit through a recording & trying to figure out the right extension to choose. The whole point of having an app and curbside is to make it convenient to order food, check in and wait for the food. They definitely need to update their process and phone app. read more

My mom and I are foodies and since we have newly moved into the Whitehouse Area, We decided to go out for a day of shopping. After a few stores and ending at Big Lots did we realize we were hungry and this gem just happened to be in the same parking lot. We went inside and we instantly greeted by a nice hostess who sat us and recommended different items and drinks since we were first timers. The food portions were huge and the drinks delicious however the only reason they won't get five stars is because they were a bit on the higher price side. We will not make another trip to eat at this location again. This was our second trip to this location and the experience was absolutely horrible. We ordered a small hamburger & Italian sausage pizza plus cheese fries. The fries were really good until we noticed a huge rust spot on the cast iron type plate they served the fries on. Shift manager came over to the table and I pointed out the issue. All he could say was, oh someone must not have seasoned the cast iron plate. First mistake was it should have never made it out of the kitchen. Also the pizza we ordered came out all hamburger and no Italian sausage. Alerted the waitress and she even noticed it. Another pizza was made and it came out the same way. However, the pizza had no flavor whatsoever. We did not get charged for the fries and left without saying anything about the nasty tasting pizza. The experience overall with rating of 10 being best is a solid 2.. Won't step foot in that location again or recommend it to anyone. Goodbye Bubba's 33! read more
