Best bagels i've had in Arizona! And the lavender honey cream cheese is sooo good- Will definitely be back!

I was brought two bagels from Bubbe's. The everything bagel and the jalapeño cheddar. Both were perfect in their own way. The bagels are perfectly light and chewy. I use the regular cream cheese and is is cream and delicately flavored. The lavender honey is sweet and a great mix of lavender. Others say lavender but Bubbe delivers!! read more

Having lived and worked in New York City for over 17 years, this is the worst bagel I have ever had. We ordered two lox's ones bagel and one bagel and cream cheese. We ordered them toasted but they were not, one with cream cheese on the side but it was not, one toasted twice and it wasn't even toasted. They remade them but a 20 something lady with green hair lectured us for over 5 minutes on how to order lox and bagel. I informed her that I've been ordering bagels for over 20 years when I lived in New York City, the capital of bagels. The redone bagels were frankly terrible with some sort of oil drizzled on them, again not toasted and no capers or onions. So not only were the bagels and lox awful, the service was disrespectful. Oh and 2 coffees, 2 lox and bagels and 1 bagel and cream cheese it came to almost $40!! Brueggers Bagels is literally 1/2 to the East on River on the same side of the street or Einstein on Ina and Shannon. Both are fantastic and extremely helpful. Fantastic all around. Staff is great with knowledge of the items listed and the store aesthetic is comforting and puts your mind at ease before you start the morning grind! One of the many things that makes Bubbe's so great is the dough. It is a sourdough bagel that is then kettle boiled and baked. Crunchy, bubbly exterior with a chewy, yet delicate interior crumb. A little customer service goes a long way. If an online order can't be fulfilled in time, offering the customer a beverage, an extra bagel....literally anything, goes much further than "we're really busy today". I sat and watched people who ordered in house leave before me with the same flavor I had been waiting on. I will say, the manager ended up refunding me after my order was completed. And the bagels are delicious. But they have a very "you're lucky to be here eating our bagels" attitude. read more

I have searched Tucson for a good bagel and lox sandwich and I finally found it. They prepare an open face sandwich with lox on both sides so it's like getting 2 sandwiches and the quality of the salmon was good. Suggestions for improvement. You need bottled water for take out people like me. Water in a cup doesn't cut it. I wish you made blueberry bagels. I think the space is too small sadly. So there is confusion over who is in line and who is waiting. Maybe a cord separating the waiting to order line would help. read more

Top tier bagels , delicious home made cream cheese. Nothing bad to say about the place at all. Bagels by the dozen if you want to bring them home . Great prices and service . Not a super big interior but they do offer outdoor seating and a few indoor seats if you don't want to wait till you get home. Strongly recommend having a bagel bubbes style. read more

I am so glad this place came to the Northwest side of town!!!! Some helpful tips, you can order ahead online egg salad, multiple bagels and the tubs of cream cheese. The egg salad is about $13 and lasts 5 days. But the flavor was there. The inside of the business is small and would comfortably sit about 8 people. Would strongly encourage if you are ordering online to do so!! The single bagel and shmear is ordered in house. The bagels are not precut but they have bags of bagels for purchase ahead of time at the counter. Everything bagels sell out quickly (11ish). I'd highly encourage anyone to try the cream cheese! Got to Bubbe's at 7 AM, and found a table in the shade. There are about 8 tables with varieties of shade. I really wish they opened at 630 AM in the summertime to encourage outside dining and community building. I had a nice toasted everything bagel with salmon cream cheese. I asked if the bagels were hot since it determines whether I want it toasted. I got the ambiguous answer that they were made today so I got it toasted. I tried the iced coffee. The coffee was behind the counter, and I was informed no free refills. I can understand Bubbe's is a business, but still felt under appreciated. That is my issue. I got the salmon open face sandwich. Onion bagel was ok. The capers look nice on top but they all fall off. They should put the capers on the cream cheese because a caper tastes better in your mouth than on your shirt. They didn't have any decaf anything, and the sandwich was $4 more than Breuger's just down the road. read more

I've gone to grab bagels here now more times than I can count. It helps that it's down the street from where I live and that they never disappoint. Service is great and quick. I've tried all different types of combinations and they've always been good. I also get plain bagels to eat at home at a later time. Definitely go check them out! read more

Best bagels in Tucson. Just had a sea salt bagel with green onion cream cheese and it was out of this world good! Super chewy, buttery bagel and the cream cheese had a lovely, fresh, mild flavor and was just decadent. I think I paid 3.50 which is actually decent considering the bagel is enough to make a meal. We tried the Wilmot location several months ago - and the bagels were too salty. We moved to the Northwest side of town and thought it might be a good time to try the River location. (Just maybe things have changed - nope - sadly disappointed) We drove 35 minutes and passed 3 other Bagel Shops just to give you another chance. Had the egg and cheese bagel sandwich. It was delicious. Wife had cinnamon raisin bagel. Came with a healthy serving of cream cheese. It was also good. The bagels are tasty and a nice size-much larger than the skimpy Bruegger's Bagels. The coffee I ordered was also very good. However, we ordered tuna sandwiches here-quite horrible. They were dripping in grease-piled on the mayo when I specifically told the clerk what we wanted on the sandwiches. Also, the clerk said we would receive a pickle with each sandwich, we got no pickles. I will return for the bagels, but never again for their sandwiches. read more

Best bagel in Tucson by far! I am not a morning person, but you best believe I pull myself out of bed earlier than usual just to race to bubbes to start my day. The Campbell location is always super clean with welcoming staff. Not only are the bagels themselves amazing, I normally go for a classic everything, but thank god for their vegan cream cheese! One of the only places you can get it in Tucson! I will never hesitate to recommend bubbes to everyone I know. I only wish they had a downtown location :) read more
