First time here. We were intrigued by the ice cream flakes. The owner was super nice and made us a custom flavor (chocolate & peanut butter) with chocolate popping bubbles. It certainly wasn't bad by any means but different than what we were expecting. He came out to check on is while we were eating and did inform us it is nonfat ice cream which is what is need in order to get the flakes and also results in a less intense flavor. He was also nice enough to make us a Bubble Tea while we were there since we had never tried it. That was wonderful! The bubble tea was good (I had cake batter flavor) and the shaved ice cream was okay. But the food was not great, just basic fried stuff and burgers. Not very flavorful, not anything special. I would only come for the bubble tea and eat somewhere else. read more

Cute place! I got the grilled chicken wrap (not pictured because I ate it too quickly) and it was so good! I also got a bubble tea and the chocolate ice cream flakes. Excellent burgers. The bubble tea was amazing and the shaved ice cream was delicious. We got there a little late and ate in; the owner was so gracious even though we were still eating a half an hour after they closed. We will definitely be back. Update: this is still a favorite for us! The owner is fantastic and goes out of his way to make you feel at home. My only wish is that we lived closer so we could visit more often! read more

I went there yesterday to try them out after a former schoolmate gave them a raving review. My rating is only based on the food I got. A double cheeseburger and onion rings. The burger was very tasty but I think the sauce was too mayonnaisey. But still very good. And the onion rings were pretty decent too. I think it was a little pricey too. Now I have to mention my experience with them today which was annoying and mostly not stores fault. A family of 4 walked in right before me. They went right up to the counter without having any idea what they wanted. Without exaggeration they went over 75% of the menu with the poor girl at the counter each and every one of the four. Changing their minds and orders over and over again. I found this extremely inconsiderate for anyone behind them. They could of read the menu right above them or took the carry out menus and stepped aside but nooo. Literally I was standing there 15 minutes and there was no sign of them being done. A line was forming behind me. I walked out and called in my order. The owner I assumed took my order and he said 10 -15 minutes. I walked back in and took a seat and watched that family go almost another 5 minutes before they finished ordering. About 5 minutes later the father goes back up and changes part of his order. A few minutes goes by and the girl asks me if I wanted to order and I said I have a carry out order. I paid and got my order a couple more minutes. I ate out in my car. The family hadn't got their carry out order before I left . I hope they had to wait a long time. Now I really believe the owner should of took matters in his own hands and started taking orders too, or hand this family a menu and to comeback when they knew what they wanted. Would I go back? If I'm in the area sure. It was a good burger and a few other items on the menu looked good. Sorry for this lengthy review but I'm hoping some how that inconsiderate family sees this. It was interesting. the bubble tea was good. The ice cream flakes when you order the cookies in cream looks like shredded chicken.

The food isn't bad, but the service kind of sucks. The employees are very discombobulated and they aren't really sure how to do their job correctly. There are many items that are on the menu that are not available for the customers. The food is kind of over priced for the quantity that you get. There are many things that can be fixed to make this an all around better place to eat. Also the music is waaayyy too loud. read more

Finally, a bubble tea place in Shelby Township! (I'm from the west coast and bubble tea is everywhere there.) The bubbles (tapioca pearls) are always perfectly cooked - the right consistency and sweetness. The bubble tea is as good as I have had on the west coast. The restaurant is clean and the staff is so nice - the young woman behind the counter always remembers my order. I've only had bubble tea and ice cream here (the ice cream is good and really fun, different presentation than I have seen anywhere), so cannot comment on the food - I will get there to have a burger in the future. Love this place! Great place to grab a bite, drinks and dessert! We ordered the side sampler and loved it; the Mac bites were definitely a favorite. Had a coconut smoothie with lychee and it was refreshing! I loved the ice cream shaved! Taro is a favorite! Big size portion for the price! We went today and got a mushroom Swiss burger, an OMG Spicy burger, an appetizer sampler, two small bubble teas, and vanilla shaved Ice cream. It was amazing!!! The food was all so fresh and well made. The batter for the apps was so light and flakey, the burger was thick and juicy, cooked to perfection with extremely complimentary toppings. I've been a frequent customer here lately and this place is truly a hidden gem. The teas are delicious and the food always hits the spot. The girls working are beyond helpful and personable! The burgers are delicious! Will absolutely be back for them again! The shakes are probably the best I've ever tried. I've never had bubble tea before but was pleasantly surprised - we were asked several questions about what we liked and the final product was amazing! Can't wait to try some other combinations next time. Now for the ice cream flakes... it is so hard to describe. It looks like shredded wheat but tastes like heaven! Just tried the place for the first time. Burgers were decent, but absolutely love the shaved ice cream. First time trying shaved ice cream like this and it was divine. We also had the taro flavored bubble tea which was really good. It was just the right amount of sweet without being to sugary like some of the ones I have tried before. Tried this place out with my girlfriend on Sunday. We were curious. Although the worker was trying to help us...it was very confusing and difficult to order. Dude the ice cream is something crazy. It's shaved in a way that makes my mouth confused yet satisfying. Def would recommend this place. I didn't try the burgers but I got the bubble tea and shaved ice cream/ice cream flakes. Not gonna lie my mouth was really confused and thought the ice cream was crunchy but it was. Tried this place for the first time today and wasn't too happy with my drink. I ordered the pearl milk tea with boba and lychee jelly and was expecting it to be a sweet, dessert-like drink as I've had it before, but it was not sweet at all and tasted like 100% rose water. I really, really wanted to like this place. We have little to choose from in this area when it comes to any kind of food options, so I was excited to see Bubble Cream open. However, this place came up short in so many areas I just don't see it lasting. First the seating - entirely lacking. I think I counted 3 tables (maybe 4) that seated 2 people each. It really isn't conducive to eating your food there, which is kind of strange considering that the ice cream flakes would probably melt if taken to go. The food was mediocre at best. We had a burger, chicken strips and fries; it all tasted like the kind of food you would get in a cafeteria. The pop machine was broken when we were there so we had to choose from drinks in a cooler (cashier failed to inform me of that when I ordered.) One of the drink choices in the cooler was Kroger brand bottles of water?! None of us really liked the ice cream flakes - it tasted like ice milk, very bland. The workers were young and stressed and didn't seem like they knew what they were doing. And were very, very slow. read more
