My son has been going to Bubble Cuts in Eagle Rock since his first haircut when he was 13 months old and loves it. There is a play area for kids to enjoy while waiting for their turn, there are also plenty of vehicles that can be used during the haircut session as well as televisions for "Blippi", "Cars" and "Paw Patrol" to name a few. I never had a bad experience with Reyna! She really made my son's haircut experience great and made sure it was to his liking. He was fine with the clippers and scissors for the most part. She also handled the difficult situations well especially since my son recently had a terrible experience with a scissor haircut. Clipper haircut is $36, which is affordable. Came here because this is where my sister took her son for his first haircut 10 years ago and she loved it. Little did we know prices have quite increased since then. She paid $20 in 2015 for the haircut and the momento picture. This time we paid $38 before tip $45 after. I mean it was a milestone and im glad we got to keep his hair. Wanda was patient with my son, but I paid for a scissor cut which she did, and then she tried to clean it up with clippers at the end and that's when the haircut got messed up. She tried to do straight edges and with a 1 year old moving around with no guard on the clippers he definitely has a lot of bald spots. The location has moved in the last 10 years (down the street). I was hoping to get the same car that my nephew had to do a side by side but unfortunately the pink Cadillac has long since been retired. Am I glad he finally got a haircut and got a memento yes. Would I shop around a little more? also yes, the price is very steep for a sub par haircut and the more I look at his hair (even growing out) the more I see how unevenly cut it is. read more

Appointments for both my boys was at 10:30, and both kids were sat in a chair at 10:30. Service was quick and efficient for young kids who don't have patience to sit long. They also allowed both kids to choose a show of their liking. The vibe was fun and they all let my kids choose what color car they wanted. Service was $36 for each kid but the quality and efficiency was worth every penny. We will be back! read more

Just wanted to share some pictures of my son's haircut so you can see how downright terrible it is. He had long hair. We asked for an inch off. The lady cutting his hair took the liberty of cutting more off. She did a horrible job. Please avoid getting your child's haircut here. The woman with the tattoos will ruin it. He had to have this haircut for his spring school photos and for his birthday. I feel embarrassed for my child, but he refuses to cut more off since she already cut off way too much. Please look at my Photos and tell me that they look good, because we both know they don't. How someone can do this kind of work and expect a tip is beyond me. I have a young two year who is nervous about haircuts. We did lots of planning ahead for two weeks by reading books and watching videos about haircuts, including Blippi at the salon. I made an appointment for 11:30 and when we arrived 5 min early, they told us our stylist had called out sick but we could wait a few min for one stylist. They gave that stylist to another client and asked us to wait for another stylist. It was 40 min of waiting before my son could be seated, and in the meantime, he got nervous and restless. He had an epic melt down. This isn't the stylist's issue - she managed to give him a pretty decent haircut despite the epic melt down, so we are impressed by that. Things happen - people get sick or have family emergencies and that is okay. The problem is that the salon chose not to call me immediately when the stylist called out so that I could consider another appointment time. Their choice not to be respectful of our time means I have a hard time recommending this place. I was so hopeful reading their website and reviews about working with sensitive children, so we are disappointed in how this was handled. read more

She handled my daughter who was less than pleased with her "vehicle" choice because the vehicle she wanted was occupied since...well, she's 8, feisty and wants what she wants! lol. She also expertly cut my daughter's hair which is very thick and wavy. My daughter is also in the process of growing out her hair and didn't want her hair to get shorter and Debra managed to work her magic with a tricky reverse cut that kept her long layers and pulled out the thickness. A friend of mine told me about this place when I mentioned taking my little one for his 1st haircut. I decided to call and they were able to get us an appointment for the next day with Caroline, which was great. The inside is cute and we especially liked all the cars. My son is obsessed with cars. As for the haircut, it's not what I specifically wanted, it's a bit uneven, but it was the best they could do. I appreciate the patience they had, as my son was not having it and was moving too much. Caroline let us take a milk break mid haircut, since my son was crying, so thank you for that. He was able to calm down and we finished the haircut with him on my lap. I'm devastated by the butcher job that was done to my son's hair. The other place we use to go used clippers and finished it off with thinning scissor and scissors which went by very quickly.
