Our strawberry cream smoothie came out great but my real dragonfruit slush was questionable. Not sure what was extra in there. Never ever a had look like that. Taste was not there. Strawberry cream 9.5/10 Dragonfruit slush 0/10

This is my go-to boba spot in Rocklin and it has never disappointed! Located in a big shopping plaza the parking is very easy and there is some seats outside and some inside but not very many. I've only ordered at the kiosk so I'm not sure if you are able to walk up. I love the taro milk tea here and it pairs super well with the sea salt cream! All their milk teas are 10/10 I also love the brown sugar milk tea. I tried the mango green tea today and if you're a fan of mango it's a must try and I loved it with the mango popping boba. The service is pretty limited since we always order at the kiosk. But today my cousin did not like one of her drinks and the worker was very nice and switched it out for her which I really appreciated.

Yummy drinks and Snacks! [Rocklin CA] Been here a few times now since my last review of almost 1-1/2 years ago. They offer customizable options for sweetness, ice, milk, and boba types. My favorite are the fruit drinks. The golden boba has that sweet honey molasses taste and always good consistency. The staff is friendly and efficient. Bubble U have started using organic ingredients which is a good thing and a more healthy option. There will still be non-dairy options like oat milk and almond milk that are lactose intolerant for those who don't drink milk. They have claw machines to challenge yourself while waiting for your drink to be made. I've not looked lately but did someone just win that big Cinnamorol??!! Congrats to that winner! Bubble U is next to Sally Beauty Supply in the Safeway shopping center on Sunset Blvd in Rocklin. Follow them on Instagram for updates on deals and promotions. They have a great flavors like the lychee smoothie and tiramisu iced coffee. They have a kiosk you can use to order, especially if they are busy. If you don't like it very sweet, make sure you customize it. They have fun claw machines so I'll give them 4 stars.

This place feels like a hidden gem. Everything is delicious! Rebecca is the sweetest, friendly, welcoming as she made the delicious drinks, and was patient with me as I was deciding. She had great suggestions and input, and I'm so glad I tried her recommendation. Shoutout to Rebecca for the delightful welcoming experience. My favorite is the melon cream delight made with fresh fruits and homemade cantaloupe whipped cream topping too. This drink was heavenly. I can't wait to be back!

I love stopping in here, when I am out doing some errands. Very versatile menu and I like they will adjust the sugar for my tea. They also have some fun coin machines and some bags of snacks to purchase. Parking is no problem,

Possibly one of the best taro milk tea's I've had lately. Service is fast and using the kiosk is really efficient. The flavor was soft on and the cups they are in aren't flimsy!

Where a degree in incompetence is required: We've ordered from here 5 times... as we wanted to give it a fair try. Needless to say once again they are "missing" the mark. Previously we've had ingredients missing. This time in particular they managed to not put coffee jelly in two of the drinks, didn't put brown sugar crystals and instead was given honey boba and, no straws for BOBA DRINKS? Luckily we had some spare straws but not boba width. Now to be fair it wasn't written down for them through door dash or anything...jk it was, but you know instructions are hard. All in all it's time to head back to literature class for this monster of a university.

I think this may end up being my favorite boba tea restaurant in the area, but I should go a few more times. Bubble University is located in the Safeway plaza on the corner of Sunset Blvd and Park Dr in Rocklin. Easy parking. Restaurant closes relatively early at 7 pm according Yelp hours edited in 10/2022 (or 7:30 pm according to my 7/2022 photo and Google). I went near closing time, so the restaurant was out of black pearl boba. I ordered Roasted Oolong Milk Tea with Golden Boba, which was delicious. I could taste the tea flavor. The pretty yellow-colored boba was yummy and chewy. I think I ordered 50% sweetness. Here are the boba descriptions: - Golden Boba: Chewier, Bigger, and Black Sugar Flavored - Pearl Boba: Medium Sized and Honey Flavored Drink comes in a cup and a lid made of a sturdier, thicker plastic. I poked the straw into the lid, which caused a piece of plastic to go into the cup. I would recommend pulling off the straw opening by hand, instead of poking it inside the cup. I did compare the size of the straw opening plastic piece and the straw. The straw opening plastic piece is bigger in width than the straw, so I don't think you can slurp hard enough to force and bend the thick plastic piece into the straw. However, just to err on the side of caution, I'd take the time to pull it off and throw it away. Because the straw opening plastic piece is roundish in shape, it is easily mistaken as the shadow of a boba. For the future, I'd be interested in trying these drinks: - Iron Goddess Oolong - Matcha Milk Tea - Taro Milk Tea - Brown Sugar Milk Tea - Honey Milk Tea - Burn Burn Tea Latte - Taro Smoothie - Coconut Pineapple Smoothie - Strawberry Matcha - Taro Blush I'm happy that the bubble tea restaurant that I'm most impressed with is closest in distance to me. Lucky me!

Matcha Milk Tea not mixed well at all and super chunky bites of match powder.

The service and store are great but the drink execution was lacking. We got three drinks and 2 of three were undrinkable. The match was extremely clumpy and the mango fruit tea was super sour and bitter.

Unfortunately, our visit on Friday, 8/28/26 was incredibly disappointing. The young woman working the counter seemed either very new or simply in need of additional support, because something was definitely off operationally. First, the vanilla machine was down, so that option was unavailable. Of course, that was no fault of hers and completely understandable. However, when my husband and I walked in, we were the only customers there. I'm still fairly new to the Pressed community and didn't have my membership barcode readily available. I was spending about $40, so I asked if she could look up my account using my phone number. She told me she couldn't. That honestly felt absurd and unnecessarily unhelpful. At places like Jamba, Starbucks, and countless other businesses, there is usually some alternative way to assist a customer when they don't have their barcode immediately available. Nonetheless, we placed our order. By the time we finished, two additional parties had come in, and she proceeded to take their orders before preparing ours. Fine. I understood that she was working the counter alone, and when someone is managing both the register and fulfillment, customers have to allow them some grace and time to balance both. The problem was that she never seemed to make that transition. As she continued taking orders, more customers entered, and she simply kept ringing people up without preparing any of the outstanding orders. The small lobby became increasingly crowded while completed orders remained nonexistent. My husband and I had an appointment and were already pressed for time. At one point, he tapped me and asked, "Is it always like this? Is she ever going to start making the orders so people can get out of here?" I finally asked her about the wait and mentioned that our order still hadn't been started. She told me she "needed to take all of the orders first." I asked, "Is that Pressed policy?" She said yes and continued ringing up several more customers before finally beginning our order. That made absolutely no sense to me. If that is truly Pressed policy, I would strongly encourage management to reconsider it. If it isn't, then this employee needs additional training on how to manage the counter efficiently when working alone. There has to be a reasonable rhythm--perhaps take two orders, fulfill two orders, then return to the register. Continuing to accept order after order while an increasingly crowded lobby waits for anyone's food to actually be made is inefficient and creates unnecessary frustration for everyone. As a business owner myself, I would have cringed watching the customer experience unfold this way. It wasn't simply that the location was busy; it was the lack of effective multitasking and workflow that created the backup. I've enjoyed Pressed enough that I'm not writing off the brand because of one poor experience, but this visit definitely missed the mark. And unfortunately, it was my husband's first impression. His final assessment was: "All this for some non-dairy ice cream? I'll pass." Not exactly the introduction to Pressed I was hoping to give him. I especially like that this version makes it clear you're not attacking the employee personally--you're calling out the lack of training, workflow, and customer service, which makes your complaint much stronger. Hopefully the next time I return, Cam will be there. She was a great front face for Pressed. I have to give Pressed a 2 stars for today. Subpar service, no vanilla, and long wait time. Hopefully next time will be better, and I'll get it points.

Review #100! Thrive…read moreNutrition & FITClub offers FREE Cardio Drumming and Strength Training classes Monday through Saturday. As of summer 2022, 1-hour weekday classes have been 6 pm, and Saturday classes are 8 AM Strength Training and 9:30 AM Cardio Drumming. Strength training classes are on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. It is suggested you bring your own mat and hand weights, but there are some provided in class. This was my first experience with cardio drumming. Caroline is our beautiful, fit instructor. It's super fun and clever way to get in your steps and cardio effortlessly. Class is clearly popular and addictive with a loyal following. My favorite routines are the ones with salsa and arm movements. Cardio drumming classes are on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Cardio drumming involves using drumsticks to pound on an exercise ball on top of a laundry tub set to the music. You might stretch, squat, lunge, or dance in front your ball/tub set-up at times. You might lower yourself to pound on the laundry tub. You might be pounding the exercise ball to the left or right your own ball. Some people run around the ball as they drum. Here's a video clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTnjelSLoBA If you want to pick the perfect spot to exercise for cardio drumming, arrive 30-45 minutes early. Beginners should start in the 2nd row or further back and be centered to have people in front, behind, left, and right of them to copy. The instructor and experienced cardio drummers stand in a line in the front of the classroom. Regular class attendees can often tell you are new and will greet you and help you get set up. There is no formal sign-in sheet, I don't think. Thrive is located in Sierra Meadows Plaza, where BarnBurner, Jing Jing, Kathrin's Biergarten, Wally's, and Sushi Kakogan are located. It isn't hard to find a parking space, but if you're bringing your own equipment, you might want to find a closer spot. Arrive at least 10-20 minutes early if you want to place an order for the shake service or mega tea. Shake service consists of 3 drinks: a pre-workout aloe shot, an energy & metabolism tea during workout, and a post-workout high protein, low calorie shake. Most shakes are 200-250 calories and 24 g protein! You can also place your order ahead of time: Call 916-259-1964 or text 916-835-2228. As of summer 2022, shake service costs $11.50. You can order a 2-drink service of the aloe shot and tea for $3.50. The energy and protein powders are Herbalife brand. Rhonda Hansen and Char Avila are co-owners with the Tsutakawas and skillfully handle the food and drink orders. Rhonda impressively memorizes your name over time as she takes your orders without any formal introduction! Aloe shots come in 3 flavors: Mango, Cranberry, and Mandarin. Mango is my favorite. The energy and metabolism teas come in these flavors: Original, Lemon, Peach, Raspberry, Pomegranate, Green, Chai, Cinnamon, and NRG. Raspberry is the customer favorite. Shakes comes in over 80 flavors!!! These are some customer favorites: #15 Butter Pecan #34 Coffee Toffee Crunch #39 Cinnamon Toast Crunch #19 Chocolicious #67 Chocolate Butter Pecan #23 Reese's Peanut Butter Cup I enjoyed #26 Cherry Garcia, my very first shake, and a sample of #50 Banana Split. Craig's favorite shakes include: #12 White Chocolate Caramel #39 Cinnamon Toast Crunch #48 Banana Nut Muffin #80 Lemon Pound Cake (+$1 for juice) #53 Raspberry Lemonade (+$1) There are seasonal and holiday flavors. Ask for the Secret Menu, or look for a specials menu. From Facebook, I gathered this information on special menu items: #80 Lemon Pound Cake #81 Candy Cane (winter) Pumpkin shake flavors are available in the fall, starting in September: #74 Pumpkin Cheesecake #77 Pumpkin Latte #85 Pumpkin Pie #86 Pumpkin Toffee Cheesecake #95 Pumpkin Toffee Popular Mega Tea flavors include Pink Lady, Watermelon Jolly Rancher, Summer Breeze, and Beauty and The Beast. Pink Lady and Summer Breeze are Caroline's favorite mega teas. On Sundays, you can order a Waffle Bowl Sundae, a breakfast shake made with 1/2 of a hot protein waffle. 31 grams of protein and 350 calories. Thrive also sells protein cookies in a variety of flavors. They also sell protein donuts on Tuesdays. Group photos or videos are taken every class. Most people are unmasked in this indoor class. Hand sanitizer, masks, and disinfectant spray and wipes are by the cash register. I'd recommend taking a fun trip to Guitar Center in Roseville to choose and purchase your own drumsticks from a huge selection. I got Size 5A drumsticks. 5B is thicker. Timbale sticks are similar to Cardiostix. However, Thrive has plenty of equipment if you don't buy want to buy your own. The free cardio drumming classes got me start exercising again after a torn calf muscle, so thank you very much to Caroline and Craig Tsutakawa for getting me into Thrive.
