We were in the area & wanted to try a good boba place before heading to the mall. We found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. It happened to be their soft opening day. Surprisingly there wasn't much of a wait. I love how they have the option to order online and or you can order on a little kiosk they have in store. We order 3 brown sugar boba with almond milk and the honey boba. Let me just say OMG.. the boba were so delicious perfect texture. The drink itself was so good it also had a layer on top like they torched the sugar to give it a cream brûlée taste. This place is definitely a gem!! Now we have a go to boba when we are in the area. They need to learn what good customer service is. Blaming the customer and not offering to fix an order is not the best way to get customers to come back. They're always out of boba. If you're going to get drinks here stick with the smoothies. The other drinks taste powdery. Better yet, skip this place all together. read more

After a disappointing experience at another Boba shop the day before, my girlfriend and I decided to try another place that we had never been to and had high marks. From the outside, it did not look like much but upon entering we found a nice little space. All orders were made via kiosk and our names were called when our drinks were done. The interior did not really convince me too good about the meaning behind the name. Maybe I'm just used to seeing what I see in the bay area or in Southern California, but this place did not say anything about a university or anything about wizards. Perhaps it is something personal to the owners. The other thing I did not like was the White tinted glass. I am not sure if that is because of Covid restrictions but I would like, as much as possible, to see how my drink is being made. It was not a huge deal, but it was definitely noticeable. In fact, it may have been with threw off a lot of the nice interior. I ordered their golden Boba which seemed to be something that they were pretty proud of, with a fruit tea. I was pleasantly surprised and happy to have been able to enjoy something like this, at a place I have never been to, especially after a not so great experience the day before. My girlfriend really enjoyed her drink and it came with all the things you would expect her drink to come with. This is not a bad place for you to grab a quick drink and it looks like they also take online orders as well. Not a bad place, and not that far from five stars. The Alice in Wonderland was the best tea drink I've ever had. Beautifully crafted, which makes the wait worthwhile. The tea-preparers never really interact with me except to hand me my order but there's nothing wedding with that. I've been coming to bubble universe since they were on sunrise. Supper excited when I heard they open the one on Sunset cuz it's only 4 minutes drive from my house as to 20 minutes drive. It's my go to place to order milk tea. Until this past weekend... I order 8 drinks total. Mine you, they miss one drink. But I didn't realize it till I got home. But by then, I'm already annoyed so I didn't want to go back... the girl: hi, were out of boba on one of your drink, would you like to substitute it with any other toppings? Me: okie, do you have agar boba? The girl: yes, but it's .10cents extra. Me: you want me to go to my car and get you .10 cents? The girl: yes. Me: okie, I will go get you the .10 cents... Good vibe, clean, I like their boba. However, customer service SUCKS! I purchase there almost every day because I can only find my favorite drink there. If I could find it elsewhere, I would change places in a heartbeat. If they hired workers who actually cared to get the customers' orders right, more than they cared about talking to each other, sleeping, or staring at their phones, this would be my favorite Boba place. Other annoyances: they keep changing their business hours; they offer specials on DoorDash, such as buy 1 get 1 free, yet when you go to pay, you get charged for 2 drinks; and it seems like they add water to your milk when they are running low on milk and they don't tell you. I tried ordering on the Revi app, and it said they were closed, yet when I drove by the store, it was open. This could be a really great spot, but it seems like the owners don't care enough. Simple training of workers, and double checking on things would alleviate all of these problems and make this a great spot. read more

After we picked up our drinks and sat down he says "We're still open so you can take your time." No other place treats its customer with that sort of respect. I was so excited to discover a Bubble University location opened up right down the street! Visited on a Saturday, they were pretty busy but you can order online through "Revi" and will receive a text when your drink is ready. It was so easy! I really like that they allow you to customize the sweetness and ice levels. They have a wide variety of drink options as well as seasonal menu items. Bubble University never disappoints. I usually go to the Roseville location but since I was in the area, I might as well get some boba here. In my head I thought, "They're the same franchise just different branches so what difference would it make?" Ordered - brown sugar milk tea with sea salt cream and golden boba at 75% sweetness: At 75% sweetness the drink was still relatively sweet for my liking. The thing is, I'm don't have a big sweet tooth (in general), but for drinks like these, I don't like it when the drink is too sweet nor too bland; it's complicated haha. I might opt for 50% sweetness next time. Anyways, what I love about Bubble University's brown sugar milk tea is how creamy it is. That could be pinpointed to sea salt cream but I feel like the overall drink's base is pretty creamy. Due to the ongoing boba shortage, there weren't any regular tapioca pearls available so I went with the golden boba (which automatically comes with the drink if you order for it). It's texture is soft and has a nice chew to it. When I was finishing up my drink, the golden boba didn't clump up, which is a definite plus. I love the quality of the cups, they're super sturdy. I like to wash and reuse them for other purposes at home. That being said, some of my friends say the drinks at Bubble University are a bit pricer compared to other boba joints. However (in my opinion), for the quality of the drinks being presented, it's worth it! read more

We love their Thai Tea and Boba drinks, but they are often out of Boba, sometimes the black pearls are soaked in honey and other times clearly not. I order 3x a week. It's seems that you need a system of measurement for your servers. I order 50% sweetness every time and it comes out different every time. Today is was super sweet and I asked them to remake it.
