This store is fairly small for a Buc-ee's. However, as advertised it is always clean and the service is excellent. I stop here often to use the car wash. It's one of the few in the area that actually get your car clean. Their gas prices can be slightly higher than the area average, so I recommend only getting gas when you're getting a car wash. It is a $.12 discount per gallon if you purchase a car wash. The convenience store has plenty of selections and some made to order hot selections. One additional comment regarding the size, the bathrooms are extremely small. Only 4 urinals and 2 toilets. So remember, this is a Buc-ee's and it does get crowded. So plan according! read more

How can you not like Buc-ee's! This location has one of the best car washes you could ever get at a gas station. I guess that's the whole business plan for Buc-ee's though, to be the best of everything at a gas station. Most importantly though, I have never had a problem with the gas I get there. I'm very disappointed in the cleanliness of this location. There were flies buzzing all around the bakery and all over the fudge that was out in the open. We placed an order but left before it was ready because of this. There was no social distancing in place, everyone was just standing around waiting for their orders like "normal". Come on Bucee's!! Not the cheapest gas prices, but not about average for the area. I needed gas and then decided to get a car wash. The line for the wash was somewhat long, but it moved quickly. The token for the vacuum gives you enough to do a quick cleanup for my corolla-sized car, but anything bigger and you might need to purchase a couple more. Is it the best carwash? Size doesn't equal quality and I've been to better drive-thru washes. For example, I had a choice to add some sort of tire soak to my wash, but did this actually happen? No clue. You pay at the pump and go up there whenever. Nobody actually sprayed my tires down and didn't see any special gadget for this. If I were in the area and needed gas? I'd stop here again, but there are better places which are equally priced. read more

Although not as big as other locations, this Bucee's is just as good. They always have breakfast tacos (bacon/egg, sausage/egg, others), kolaches and made to order items through a terminal. A great selection of snacks and drinks. If you are passing through in or out of Houston to Austin I would recommend stopping in. The car wash is great but can get busy in the weekends. My only "complaint" would be that they don't have the numerous bathroom stalls as other locations do. But they have always been clean and tidy whenever I need to use them. read more

While visiting my parents in Texas, they insisted I had to stop in a Buc-ees. Having no idea why they were so excited, I relented to make them happy. The shirts alone are hilarious and come Pride weekend in Chicago I wished I had one. For example - a tie dye shirt with the slogan "Power to the Beaver". Or just the standard "It's a Beaver!" shirt. Have been to this Buc-ee's a couple of the other last Saturday we were hungry on the way out to the 290 Houston outlet stores and I said why not go to Buckys and the kids said yay Buc-ee's this is a definite alternative to other fast food when on a road trip not like most gas station food would definitely avoid this stuff is really good and of course I've got the other Bucky stuff like beef jerky and some deer jerky Banana chips and toffee and all that not nearly like the one out I-10 As it is much smaller but still very good on the food just not as much selection or in and out in under 15 minutes and probably be making this a pitstop on the way out there on the next trip. Got three meals and back of jerky bag of toffee banana chips and a bag of praline pecans all for $64 not a bad deal my opinion thanks Buc-ee's. read more

I love Bucee's as much as the next person, especially because I grew up in Lake Jackson and they are all over the place, but this Bucee's has fallen short. I am traveling and using my phone to navigate to a place I've never been before - my phone died and since I don't have my car charger, I pulled over at this Bucee's to charge up (brought in my own charger.) I explained to management my predicament, and was shocked when I was told that they could not help me. The manager said it was "a liability, it could spark and cause a fire or something" and there was nothing she could do. I'm literally in a city, going somewhere new, and this lady had no sympathy, not even a suggestion of somewhere else I could go to charge my phone. This is a medium-sized Buc-ees, but the beaver can do no wrong. Counter staff was super friendly, plenty of pumps and parking, great selection of home-made items, large coffee bar, and, of course, kolaches. Gas prices were good for the area. The bathrooms are, of course, the cleanest you'll ever find in a gas station. I simply can't resist stopping at a Buc-ees, and I really need them to get some more close to Austin (preferably between Austin and Waco for my trips home). So, in June, Buc-ee's Katy made a charge adjustment for $50 on top of what I actually spent there on a visit in APRIL, and I can't contact anyone to find out why, and had to file a claim at my bank. SO, I log into my bank this morning to see that now the Waller store has made an adjustment for a June visit, even though I already have 2 charges for gas we bought at the pump and the stuff we bought in the store. I am just going to file another claim with my bank, since no one answers your phones or messages, and then I am done with you Buc-ee's. Ya gotta stop at Buc-ees...every Buc-ees. Heck we take visiting friends to Buc-ees! This is not as big as the big Buc-ees out off I-10 between Houston and San Antonio so they don't have everything a Buc-ees has to offer.That's why 4 stars instead of 5. But they do have Dr Pepper Icees usually, coke and cherry ones too...but c'mon get a Dr Pepper Icee. They have Beaver Nuggets (which I mail to friends all over the country) and most of the Buc-ees collectable t-shirts. Who doesn't want to wear a t-shirt with a Beaver on the front and "Beaver tested/Beaver approved" on the back? They really do have clean THE cleanest bathrooms and they area always open. They have tons of ice and snacks and sodas (both outta the cooler and fountain) and beer and jerky and sandwiches and fudge and just about every kind of candy you could want - go on and try and have a road trip without Chic-o-stix! The fudge is really good and they make the sammies there so they are usually pretty fresh. Their gas us usually competitively priced. My only complaint about this place is that it isn't big enough. Not sure what they were thinking by not making it a big one. It doesn't matter what time of day I go there, there are a lot of people and cars there. The good is that the deli and snacks are really good. The place is SO clean. I finally tried the bathrooms I heard about and they lived up to the hype. Totally clean. Just the type you would want on a car trip. Another thing I love about having Buc-ees so close is that I like to use the car wash and vacuum. Bucees is the best!! If you are visiting Texas Bucees is a must to visit! There are 231 gas pumps, CLEAN restrooms, convenient store that sells merchandise and snacks. The best part is that you can buy food that is delicious!!! I got the grilled cheese sandwich and that was cheesy and bread was crusty. My boyfriend ordered the BLT and they pack the sandwich with so much bacon! The lettuce and tomato was fresh and so was the bread. It a so good that we ordered one more BLT!! The first time I walked into Buc-ees the clouds parted, a shaft of light shone on my face and I think I heard an angelic choir singing. What's not to love? My little boy and I walked into Buc-ees on a road trip for the first time and we were in awe. He went back out to the car to make his mother go check and see if the women's restroom was as big and clean as the men's room. Based on all the hype about this place I expected allot more. It's a nice spot to stop for on the road traveling but still a gas station at the end of the day. I think this place is really over rated unless I need to go to another location with more stuff to offer. I do love the option to add different flavors to your drink of choice with no extra charge. Don't ever come here for a car wash unless you want your car damaged and leave without license plates. I simply went in to get a car wash after a road trip and came out and drove home to my surprise with no rear license plate or cover. Somehow the machine ripped my torqued down rear license plate bolts from the deck lid and damaged the threads to the point that no bolt will thread in. I will never recommend this place for a quick car wash. read more
