A little place like the one your parents took you to as a kid - you know, back before McDonalds or Wendys. These are the local places you see on the road trip shows on TV. It's small, and only drive through, unless you find a spot under the Tiki hut, and traffic noise is loud. The hamburgers were the old fashioned type, hotdogs were ok, and good sweet tea ( and not everyone can make good southern tea) Will go back and check out the BBQ and other stuff - they have a large menu and many ice cream flavors. Cheese steak and fish sandwich looks promising. The Moose defied city council and remains at back - the kids will get a kick out of seeing him. I suspect he gets decorated from time to time for the season. ( or at least he SHOULD) read more

I've seen this place hundreds of times but never was particularly drawn to eat there. Based on my last experience that will have to change. All I had was a bacon smokehouse burger, so my experience is limited, but that burger was EXCEPTIONAL! It was juicy, extremely flavorful and absolutely scrumptious, enough so that I'm going to be making a special stop after work for just that burger. The service was really pretty slow, which dropped its grade, but that burger made me fall in love with the place. I will be back to Bucko's! read more

Lately my Taste Buds have been asking for a Burger. A Burger made like the ones at the Clark County Fair when I was young. The kind I used to get at The Cougar Country Drive In to cure the Munchies back in my College days. You know, the kind that taste like the grub burgers they used to make at The Tastee Freez in Washburn, ND... Probably not right? A Burger that the Drive Thru's just cannot offer. The Burger you can't get at a sit down restaurant. Driving past Bucko's was a total accident but it might be worth a try to satisfy that craving. Let's see how it goes, shall we? I ordered a Big Bucko Burger with Cheese and Seasoned Fries. Gotta go Seasoned right? Pimento Cheese is a Southern thing so I'd be lying if I didn't tell you that I may have accidentally sampled a Pimento Cheese Burger for My TN Bros. Just sayin! Look, this place doesn't compare to the above mentioned locations, however, most of you will never get to those places so who cares? This place is better than any fast food chain in the area. The seasoned fries are very much like those at Bojangles and Burgers are better than most. I wouldn't steer you away from this place, in fact, I would recommend it. Was a "go to" spot for me for years. Not sure if ownership or management changed, but i went today and it was awful. Prices went up and food quality went down. Fries tasted like they dumped half a bottle of seasoning salt and they were soft. Prefered the old fries. Bun tasted like it was toasted 3 hours earlier. No longer a fan. For $8.50 the same meal used to be $6 and MUCH BETTER!!! read more

I have been told to come to this place several times. I finally did on a lunch break to gather meals for co workers. I'm sorry but whoa! The lady at the front was very sweet. I ordered my food and because it was raining I stayed close to the counter. Upon waiting in watching the cook, prepare food with out gloves. I am watching him use his hands and pick up plain burgers, buns, lettuce and tomatoes and wiping the juices on his clothes, no apron. He then picks up permanent markers and writes the order names on the bag to again making meals. My issue with this is every other cook had gloves on except this one. Why is it okay to touch people's food, wipe your dirty clothes, pick up a marker and carry on. I was so disgusted. I already had ordered for my co workers food but decided to leave and go to What A Burger lol Yes What a burger. I know that some are okay with food being prepared like that but I just can't. I drive by this place all the time, but never stopped because they were cash only. Well today, I saw a sign that said they now accept debit cards! Its a drive thru or walk up restaurant, with table seating outside. The food is delicious, freshly cooked to order with great prices for what we had! 2 big juicy swiss mushroom cheeseburgers,1 big fried juicy hot dog(the grand dog) to try,1 order of large and delicious onion rings, 1 order of homemade seasoned fries, with 2 fountain cokes for $19 is what we had for lunch! They have a huge menu posted outside, with many options like Philly cheese steak sandwiches, Ruebens, and fresh crab cake sanwiches. Lots of ice cream flavors too. My only issue was the giant outdoor menu had no prices! It was a guessing game. But for what we ordered, it was less than surrounding competition with better food! Only had a five on me and needed some lunch so i stopped by, ran short on what i was getting, A fried baloney sandwich and Texas fries, So the nicest lady working the counter suggested maybe a hotdog instead. Just now stopped by for my first experience with Buckos. Ordered 2 strawberry cheesecake milkshakes. THE ABSOLUTE Worst milkshake I've ever seen or had. If I had taken the lid off before leaving with it I would have demanded my money back. No wonder you looked at me so funny when I asked for a spoon as well as the straw you provided. It was nothing more than (barely) strawberry milk with little lumps of cheese. And $4 each to boot. Shame on you! My first and last visit! read more

They have great burgers, hot dogs, and chicken salad sandwiches. Their cherry lemon sun drop is authentic. Recently had a pick up order for 15 people and they were extremely friendly and got the whole order correct. Would recommend this place over What a Burger any day out of the week. read more

Very rude staff!! Gets orders wrong and then don't want to fix them. Food is GREAT if u want to deal with waiting forever in drive thru line then ask u to park on other side of drive thru and then they forget about getting the food to u. I have also had to go and park and then they wave me to pick up!! Why did I use the drive thru if I wanted to get out and get when having my children in the car?? I have asked for the manager/owners name for suggestions of improvement and every staff member tells me their the manager!!! I ask for owner and they tell me they are also the owner. Didn't know everyone there is the manager and owner?!! The last straw was today when I went to order and of course was directed to park and they forgot my order... Again. When they finally apologized and rushed out my sandwich was wrong so I went to take back (asked no mayo and they globed mayo on the bottom of bun ) they told me to eat it anyways. I asked for my money back and they did oblige but then I got told to NEVER come back to their Resteraunt!! Really?? How can u run a business like that... If the owner sees this (the real owner and not staff) I would love to discuss the issues that happened today. Leave info in a reply review...
