    Hallway with artifacts

Awesome restaurant open the fur breakfast lodge dinner in Woodside very busy on weekends with parking available in the lot. It's a real funky place almost a museum of all kinds of different things, including a display of the first Apple Computer, which was kind of cool. A great menu with all of the usual favorites for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Look, the dining is basic. Go gourmet food here. But the Ambiance!! In a fabulous location in Woodside with the walls filled with Silicon Valley history. Parking is terrible. Service is fine. But you're coming for the VIBE. A Soviet Era spacesuit? An Apple 1? Ancient household appliances? Yes, please. I love the AMD artifacts. Come for the museum, stay for the food.

Oh Bucks, such a landmark in woodside. We've been coming here for years. We had the opportunity to meet the owners a few years ago, and greatly admire their devotion and dedication to this restaurant. The ambiance speaks for itself, it's filled with so so so many amazing souvenirs that will keep you looking around while you dine. The best part, how they've managed to keep everything or clean and organized. The service is always very friendly. The waitress took our order and the food came out fairly quick. The food, not bad. I definitely prefer their dinner menu with the amazing burgers & milkshakes. We came in today for breakfast and it wasn't great. The "world famous coffee cake" just didn't hit the spot. Maybe it needs a sauce? More moist? I'm not sure, but it was not what I was expecting. Overall, we love and will continue to support our local neighborhood restaurant

Funny restaurant that's also a museum of odds and ends plastered all over the walls. Had a very respectable Cobb salad for lunch, and fresh brewed iced tea. Great place!

I've been to Buck's quite a few times over the years. I'm finally just getting around to writing a review for them now. I went for breakfast this morning with a couple of friends who were visiting for the weekend from Washington. First off, the decor. So dang cool. Beyond that, one of the employees today (I didn't catch her name) explained some of the history behind it to me. Apparently the big mural on the wall contains depictions within it of both the owners and people who they knew in the Woodside area when Buck's first opened back in the 90's. So cool!!!! I love to learn a little about the history of a place. It adds so much color and life to the place where I'm spending time with people who I (presumably) love. I know there's so much more history to this place... but I'll leave that for another reviewer or another time, because I don't want this review to get too long. Plus I don't know too much more about it yet. Lol! The food was delicious today. I got the "Big Buck", as shown in my picture. Just a delicious, filling, well-rounded all-American breakfast. Two eggs cooked how you like, bacon cuts, a couple pancakes, your choice of toast, and a small cup of fruit. Just good eating there, and I didn't get a big sugar or carbs hangover afterwards, to make the experience even better! If you're looking for coffee or pastries before or after you eat at Buck's, you can go right next door to the Village Bakery & Cafe. You looking for a place that feels like a diner out of the 90's, has an eclectic decor, nice open space, and invites you to hang out with your loved ones and have a good conversation without feeling rushed out the door? Try out Buck's. Best Kyle :)

    Nachos and BLT
    Michelle Z.

The food was alright- Chili tasted like a canned chili. BLT was okay. The nachos were redeeming- the chips were thick and crispy, and the toppings were generous and good. The service wasn't the best- kind of inattentive. Not that big of a deal. The real reason i'm giving this place a negative review was because of the bathrooms- super dirty and unclean. I've seen cleaner bathrooms at a truck stop. One of the worst bathrooms i've ever been in a restaurant. I was there for over an hour and my partner and i both went in separate stalls at differing times, and we both were baffled by the state of the bathrooms. Parking isn't the best.

The environment was very cutee! Love all the decorations and the cozy restaurant vibe, the service was also v good! They seated us super fast and the food also came very fast. However, I'd say the food itself was a bit disappointing- I didn't enjoy my eggs benedict so much and the portion was also very small! Wish the food would have tasted better for such a cute vibe!

This place is a solid 4-4.5 stars , probably one of the best diners I've been been to I came here for a Saturday lunch , expecting a mediocre lunch (based on yelp 3.5 avg reviews) but was very pleasantly surprised Everything we ordered : - Mushroom pizza customised to come with tomato sauce - excellent , fresh , yummy and rich . What a great pizza . 4.2/5 - farro and roasted veg bowl - very good , fresh and lemony flavours . Good portion as well .4/5 - jcal onion rings - one of the best onion rings dishes I've ever had . Thick onion inside with very heavy coasting - these were at a different level . 5/5 Decor is eclectic and cute and the service was excellent We are definitely coming back to this place

I've been venturing out if my neighborhood quite a bit lately and happen to be coming back from a day in the hills. Decided to stop at Buck's on the way back to the freeway and definitely worth the visit. Small and cute but friendly staff. Can be hard to find parking during prime brunch time. Had the short rib hash and was way better than expected. Short rib was still juicy and potatoes were flavorful. Perfect

We were so lucky to grab the last big table for our group of five! The place was packed with fellow ARMYs, and it honestly felt like the perfect way to keep the BTS excitement going. The staff are always so warm and friendly, and this time they shared some fun stories about BTS's visits. One time the members came in as a big group and ate at the restaurant. Other times, they called in takeout orders for 10 honey sausage pizzas, pepperoni pizzas, and lots of other items. The staff said they had a feeling it was BTS, and later got their confirmation when they saw the members enjoying the pizza on a livestream. Love the food, love the vibes, and love hearing all the BTS stories. I'll always be a Vesta fan!

We were sad because when we went on Open Table to make reservations, it told us that the restaurant wasn't taking any reservations until June 16th. My son is on the spectrum and when we found out we couldn't get a reservation, he was upset and cried. However, I thought we could just take a chance and walk over. I'm SO glad we did because the hostess said we didn't need a reservation and sat us immediately! We came at a perfect time because about 5 minutes after we were taken to our table, a whole stampede of Army fans came over! So fun and awesome to see everyone come together and enjoy coming here! The owner came to our table and started talking to us and he was so kind. And of course we talked about BTS coming to eat here and coincidentally, the owner went to the Stanford Day 3 concert like we did. He was so nice, down to earth and super kind to my son. He even brought us a Vesta Card because we were BTS fans. Our waiter was Kilmer and he was also very friendly towards my son and I and didn't mind my son chatting up a storm lol Of course we ordered the Sausage and Honey pizza, but because my son is picky and didn't like the fact that it had a drizzle of honey and Serrano pepper, he ordered a pesto and cheese. Both were delicious and of course we took the leftovers for dinner! For our dessert, we went with the Mexican Chocolate Bread pudding. So...freakin...GOOD! We loved everything and will for sure come back again and try other things on the menu. But for today, it was a total BTS day and of course we had to order what they ate when they were in town. Another bonus was that the restaurant was playing a bunch of BTS music. Couldn't have asked for a better ending to our BTS day

Pro tip is to first get on the waitlist at the desk out front then wait for their text while playing at the adjacent soccer field, which is so well kept and great for running around and working up an appetite. Everything we ordered was delicious. My favorites were the "Hunter" wood-fired pizza. The crust is amazing - I'd describe it as tender. Great balanced combo of mushroom, sausage, mozzarella, and other toppings. I really liked the marinara-pesto sauce on the meatballs. Solid app. The Rudy's jalapeño burger was solid but not amazing. A little smaller than I expected. Steak frites came as fries topped with some medium-well strips of steak and gravy. This was fun but didn't amaze me.

Despite not offering high chairs or kids meals, they have a ton of families because it's otherwise kid-friendly food in a kid-friendly environment. The food comes out super fast, and all the employees are really nice. They also quickly clear your table when they notice empty trays. My only gripe is with parking, and it's a huge problem. The restaurant is somewhat in the middle of nowhere so understandably people have to drive to get there. We have eaten at here only 4 times despite coming here at least twice as often as that because we cannot find parking. There are times we've been able to get a table but simply cannot find a spot to park and then had to leave. When the weather is nice, there can be a long wait for a table, and we've also had to leave once because our kids were super young and didn't have the patience. Other than the bar, there's nowhere to go to wait. There are employees in the lot kinda guiding traffic, but the issue is it's really a matter of luck. Someone who showed up way after you may find a spot sooner than you, and it sucks. Sometimes it gets gridlocked too because some parts of the lot are narrow and you can't pass a car waiting for a spot, or a car isn't considerate in pulling over and letting others by. I would love to come here more regularly, but it's such a hassle. We try every couple of months ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Service was fine. You order at the counter and the pizza is delivered to your table. Pretty standard. I was there on a Friday night. It was quiet and empty at about 8. Then at about 9, they had a DJ come in. Still maybe only 25 people. I loved the music. It was mostly 90s pop/dance music (Color Me Badd, PM Dawn). They even had some cool lights. The owner was cool. I chatted with him for a few seconds when he came to "apologize" for the music. He obviously didn't need to. I loved it. Oh and the bathroom had a cool light fixture. So why 4 stars? Well getting there is a pain. You have to make a full right U turn off a main street. They do have signage that helps. But the real problem is the parking. Their lot allows maybe 6 cars total for 3 business. And my guess is employees have most of them. Other than that it's street parking and it's packed. Both me and the person who joined me had to circle the block a couple times. I still had to walk about two blocks. It was also overpriced. ~$25 for a two topping, 12 inch pizza is a bit absurd. That's more on par for a 16 inch. Also, soda is by the bottle. No fountain. Not factored in because I got the one small table, but their setup is only two small tables, one of which was "reserved". The rest were set up in long rows. They can separate them. I honestly think they should.
