There are not a lot of options in this town. This is one of the better ones we've tried. Service was, well they were understaffed for sure. She was friendly but juggling a lot. The pound of boneless wings is huge. Like share it with someone huge. The tater tors were a massive portion, crispy, and tasty. French dip (philly style) exceeded expectations and was filling. House chips were better than expected. Fettuccine Alfredo was OK, but not great. Ambiance was... kind of mixed bag. A mix of very industrial with likely whatever preceded them in that space. I stopped here while in the area for work. Upon first impression it's very clean and has some nice badger memorabilia on the walls! The waitress was super friendly. Explained the buffet wasn't available for lunch on Thursday just dinner, so i ordered the mostaccioli. I was the only person there and it didn't take too long. When it got to me it was seriously huge! I probably could have two more meals from it. It tasted really good, however when I got to the middle it was a bit cold. Other than that it was good. Absolutely a disappointing establishment. When an owner is outright disrespectful to a customer to the point he's laughing at me and asking where "my expertise lie" Charging $18+ dollars for his "take on a margarita pizza" (let alone it's somehow crispy and cold at the same time.) Just would have expected more professionalism then an owner laughing at me while I try and speak rationally. Definitely not going to be a loss to not return here, just wish the $50 dollar we spent was close to worth it. Love to know where his quote "20+ years of pizza making" is from... obviously no where credible. Definitely the easiest pass of food in the area. As a quick note to finish both the roommate and I had some severe stomach issues for the couple days so wouldn't be shocked if this place was the reason. read more

Have ordered pizzas and salads from here a couple of times,and in a town of a whole lot of nothing, they are a decent option. The staff here is always very friendly and helpful which is totally refreshing nowadays! Have tried a few of the different crusts here and they are all flavorful and delicious. The sauce definitely has a weird undertone to it which I believe may be cinnamon, and while it is different, it's not necessarily inedible but definitely could be improved. First salad I had here was fresh, crunchy and delicious, second time, uhh not so much and it was same type of salad. Bucky's has a bunch of sandwich, calzone, pizza and pasta options in addition to a cooler full of frozen pizzas and pastas to cook on your own. The pizza was "meh" at best. I opted for a pepperoni pizza, and it had almost no pepperonis. Delivery was fast and friendly though.

We were excited for trying this place as we had had our fill of turkey. The staff was friendly and business was clean. We ordered pizza and soup. Soup was OK. Pizza lacked sauce and was tasteless. We added parmigian and black pepper to give it taste. On my wife's and my pizza scale, we gave it a 2.5 out of 5. This rating means the pizza was as good as a frozen one from the store. The sign out front said #1 pizza in the area, but there isn't many options in this area. Not sure if we'd go back. read more

They have a great weekday luncheon value. You get two large slices of pizza, breadsticks and a soda for $5! The pizza & breadsticks have always been fresh and hot when I have picked up my orders. I have tried a few different sandwiches also, which are huge, reasonably priced, and taste great. An interesting place in the middle of Adams. Located in a newer strip shopping area, Bucky's is easy to get to with easy access parking. Bucky's appears to be a sports bar without being a bar. It's not a bar, it's a sports-themed Italian family restaurant built around Buckingham U. Badger, otherwise known simply as Bucky. He adorns the decor along with photos of UW Badger heroes. (You'll find some familiar names on the menu, too!) The menu is limited to popular items, making choosing easier. You'll find appetizers, wraps, pizza and pasta. Besides soft drinks, you'll find the usual mainstream beers and a few Wisconsin microbrews available along with wine from local wineries. We ordered a pizza, dipping breadsticks and a half-size Mama's Favorite, a Fettuccine Alfredo dish with sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms and artichoke hearts. The half size was more than I could finish but remember, I don't eat much. We brought home half the breadsticks, half the Fettuccine and a couple of slices of pizza because it was all more than we could eat. The portions are generous and everything was to our liking. The place was about half full on a late Friday afternoon, testimony to the popularity. Several carry-out pizzas went out during our visit. The restaurant is modern, very clean and the staff is enthusiastic, courteous, friendly and fast. I don't get to Adams very often, but when I get there at meal time, Bucky's will be on my radar. read more

Over priced, food made incorrectly, when attempting to discuss my food order being wrong after spending 70$ there I had to wait to talk to a manager. I spoke with Greg the next day who took my name and address down to send a gift card in return for our food being made incorrectly and 2 weeks later nothing was ever received. After I called to address that nothing had ever been received in the mail I was then told I would have to wait to talk to Greg and was treated as though I was no longer important as a customer only the ones there were important. Back in August I posted a very positive review of Bucky's Brick Oven Eatery. Today's visit, our second ever, was quite different. My main complaint was the very awkward and slow service we received from our server, a very young-looking teenage boy. He hardly spoke to us, waiting for us to initiate conversations about the drink and food order. He charged us $5 for a pitcher of water and when we questioned him about it, he insisted they charge for water until another employee corrected him. We also asked for jalapeños on the side with one of our pizzas and they came on it, making it inedible to the little ones in our group. Aside from the poor service, the pizza tasted great, but not one of our three pizzas was cut all the way through so we were trying to use the provided butter knife to free each slice from the pie. And let me just mention that we were the only customers, the pizza took awhile to come out, and the workers just seemed to be goofing around by the registers. I'm not sure how they can possibly deal with any sort of rush. read more

My family recently purchased a cottage in Adams. For anyone who's been in the area, there are very few options for restaurants in the area. I will say that, even if this weren't one of our only pizza options in a 10 mile radius, I'd still come back. I really liked their crust. We opted for the Frank and Tank (I think that's what it was called), then added some sausage to the mix. We had cheese dipping sauce on the side. I'm not sure that was necessary. It tasted a little sweet to me, but wasn't by any means offensive. The staff were very friendly (though extremely young...I'm not sure if anyone in the establishment was over 18, haha) and attentive. We also started with cheese garlic bread and polished it off without any problem. The decor was exactly what you'd expect in small-town Wisconsin...Badgers (and some Packers) all day every day. They certainly remain consistent with their namesake. Seeing as we'll be back in the area regularly, I'd stop in again. I might also explore whether they deliver to my family's cottage. Just a note...the location has since changed since a few previous posts. It is now in the heart of downtown Adams. I was concerned about parking (you know, Chicago girl), but needn't have been. Ordered delivery when we first moved to town. Over an hour to get two pizzas and we only live 4 blocks away. The dough wasn't even cooked all the way. We decided to give it one more try and ate in the next time. My wife and I both ordered wraps. They were gross small portions of meat and cheese they managed to shove a ton of lettuce in more stalks then leaves. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

This place treats people like shit when u call and tell them the diver drive never offered u ur change back. So we called because we gave the person $30.29 and the order was only $25.29. They also messed our food up so we told them that. They wanted to fight with us over it and we told him we never got our change back and they said they would bring us ourchange back. Beer is a little expensive but the food makes up for that lol. If you're ever in the area I would definitely recommend this to my friends. Way over rated on yelp. We ordered a medium meat pizza "Sicilian" style, which the waitress says was deep dish, and per her recommendation. Pizza took forever and came out half cooked. The crust was so doughy and still cold. When we mentioned this to the waitress she said she was sorry and went to tell someone in charge. The person we told just turned around a looked at us. GREAT addition to this area! A well needed decent place to grab some food. Being a vistor to the A-F area over the last 15 years or so i've been used to seeing bar's open and close and get sold, fast food places come and go, and alot of fly by night places pop up and close. I sure hope Bucky's is here to stay, Driving buy it definitively stands out and makes it known that they are there. I stopped in this past saturday for lunch with my fiance as we were in town. The people working are very nice and attentive to our needs. We ordered the garlic cheese bread sticks (6) of them. And they came out quick. They were pretty good. The best I've had? No but given the area it was better than i was expecting. Me and my fiance debated getting a pizza or something else, We decided to get two different things. I got the Italian beef, with Mozz cheese and my fiance ordered the Mama's favorite pasta. The Italian beef was well sized for the price, The bread was really good. The odd thing to me was that it was almost like a conventional sandwich with two pieces of bread rather than your typical italian beef with the one end split open So it made eating the sandwich a bit different, But the beef itself was very good. My fiance seemed to have really enjoyed here pasta that she got as well. I'm sure we will be back when we are in the area. read more
