Taco pizza and BBQ chicken bacon pizza

Pizza was to die for and the waitress/cashier on 7/30 was such a sweetheart! She took such good care of us and was so kind! Love all the Wisconsin decor too! On Wisconsin!

If frozen pizza can pass as fresh this can pass as "Margarita" opener is obviously a joke of a pizza "maker?!?"

Absolutely a disappointing establishment. When an owner is outright disrespectful to a customer to the point he's laughing at me and asking where "my expertise lie" Charging $18+ dollars for his "take on a margarita pizza" (let alone it's somehow crispy and cold at the same time.) Just would have expected more professionalism then an owner laughing at me while I try and speak rationally. Definitely not going to be a loss to not return here, just wish the $50 dollar we spent was close to worth it. Love to know where his quote "20+ years of pizza making" is from... obviously no where credible. Definitely the easiest pass of food in the area. As a quick note to finish both the roommate and I had some severe stomach issues for the couple days so wouldn't be shocked if this place was the reason.

Was amazing, affordable, and the girls working were all super fun and friendly. I got the Buffalo Mac and cheese and my friend and I shared an order of the garlic cheesy bread and both were fantastic. Will be coming back every time I am in the area and recommending it to my friends!

Have ordered pizzas and salads from here a couple of times, and in a town of a whole lot of nothing, they are a decent option. The staff here is always very friendly and helpful which is totally refreshing nowadays! Have tried a few of the different crusts here and they are all flavorful and delicious. The sauce definitely has a weird undertone to it which I believe may be cinnamon, and while it is different, it's not necessarily inedible but definitely could be improved. First salad I had here was fresh, crunchy and delicious, second time, uhh not so much and it was same type of salad. Bucky's has a bunch of sandwich, calzone, pizza and pasta options in addition to a cooler full of frozen pizzas and pastas to cook on your own. Super clean location and the employees really make the place!

    Perfectly done pizza

The pizza was flavorful and lots of cheese. The eating area was clean and bright. The server was attentive and very pleasant! I will definitely be back. I can't believe we driven by many times and have never given it a chance. Our loss.

The sauce is not tangy enough and has too much oregano. It might sound picky, but sauce is important!

The pizza was "meh" at best. I opted for a pepperoni pizza, and it had almost no pepperonis. Delivery was fast and friendly though.

But from the moment we sat down, it was all uphill from there. The Italian wedding soup was excellent, rich, flavorful, and clearly homemade. The pizza was decent, nothing extraordinary but solid with plenty of cheese. We also ordered the lasagna, the spicy chicken dish, and spaghetti and meatballs. The standout was the spicy chicken: the "spicy red sauce" turned out to be more of a creamy, spicy blend, and it was fantastic. Everything came out piping hot, which I really appreciated. They also bring out warm rolls, and those were surprisingly tasty, soft, fresh, and perfect for dipping. Overall, I highly recommend this place. Despite the rough first impression, it turned out to be one of the best restaurants in the area.

Mike immigrated here legally from Albania and became a U.S. citizen, and you can taste the pride he puts into every dish--everything is homemade, even the pasta. I had the spicy chicken arrabbiata with Alfredo sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. The homemade garlic knots were mouthwatering, and the salads were fresh and crisp. My friend ordered the shrimp pasta and loved it. I also brought home two pizzas for my family, and they said it was the best pizza they've ever had! The service was excellent, and the restaurant itself is spacious with a great bar area. From now on, Mike's Italian Restaurant will be our go-to spot whenever we're in Baraboo. If you're in the area, give Mike a try--you won't be disappointed!

They have big leather swivel chairs that are actually comfy. The bar was very lively on a weekday at 4 pm. Watermelon mojito was one of the best I've ever had , followed it up with a great espresso martini. Ordered the fried clams appetizer which was good but many pieces were so small and thin that they seemed pure batter and no clam. The escargo was covered in a mexi-cheese blend that I found strange at first but tastes delicious- just more like Wisconsin escargo then French . They came with delicious crispy bread bites that we soaked up all the extra cheese and juices. Broccoli cheddar soup was the best I've ever had and absolutely loved the steak medallions with onions and dude of sauce . Steak was perfectly cooked. I loved this place and can't wait to come back

The original bar is in the old darker section - more traditional for a supper club.. We stopped there for some old fashions before dinner - they were solid. Service was very good. We ordered our meals after some tough decision making after snacking on their very tasty warm rolls. I tried their special of crabbed stuff shrimp. Five large shrimp that were very good with a baked potato on the side. My wife got the encrusted salmon and was surprised that it was encrusted in a bread crumb cheese mixture. She really enjoyed it. Our friends got the chicken with pasta and the walleye - two thumbs up. We decided to try their ice cream drinks for dessert. One pink squirrel and one brandy Alexander. Both were good but we have had better and bigger versions at other supper clubs. Prices were typical for a supper club - not cheap.

I…read morewas happy to hear that my wife secured reservations for us and another couple to try the restaurant out for the first time. Being the former Basil restaurant space, the interior is more intimate, darkly lit and a sure romantic spot for date night. The waitress was prompt and helpful selecting drinks off of their menu, inclusive of wine, beer and craft cocktails. Everyone at our table ordered a different drink or glass of wine and there were no complaints. For appetizers I ordered a bruschetta, which was served on a very crispy slice of seasoned bread. What was interesting was that the tomato topping (which was perfectly seasoned with basil, garlic and other spices) was served in a bowl on the side to allow everyone to top to their taste preference. It was a nice touch. We also sampled the cheese curds, which held up well to our Wisconsin standards, and a soup which I can't remember the name of but got high marks. Now for the main course. I was not expecting to be mind blown, by my god. The namesake dish, the Osso Bucco, was absolutely phenomenal. The veal was literally falling off of the bone and was easily, effortlessly separated with a fork. I have rarely had meat this tender. On the other side of the bowl was a fantastic risotto and a perfectly seasoned stew of carrots and onions. I did not indulge in the bone marrow, but I have heard it is a delicacy. Altogether this dish was worth every penny, and I will absolutely be having it again. To finish off this fantastic meal we opted for the tiramisu, which was elegantly plated in a creative manner I have never before seen. I enjoyed the wonderful ending to this delicious meal, and when you visit this restaurant I'm sure you will too.

I had the seafood stew, and it was quite underwhelming; it was more of an under-seasoned pasta dish. The bay scallops and shrimp were pretty tough and overcooked, BUT whatever whitefish was in the dish was outstanding. My hubby had a Caesar salad and the scallops entree. Both were wonderfully executed. The dressing on the salad was the perfect amount, lettuce crisp, and just plainly done well. And the scallops were perfect. Elaboration would take away from what was just 'muah.' :) Server was attentive, but not overly pushy. Ambiance was low key, quiet, and warm.

Ambiance: cute, cozy and intimate lighting which is perfect date night vibe and there were still some bigger parties accommodated. Arrived and it was packed and still not very noisy. There's a level of pride in the work that he does that screams unreasonable hospitality (IYKYK) and paced my courses out beautifully. Wine recommendation was on point and attention to others didn't lapse. All tables felt his presence. Food: House salad was easily the best red wine vinaigrette that I've ever had. The garlic was the perfect kick. Scallops appetizer were sweet and perfectly cooked through and the spinach/basil cream sauce that was under and surrounded the dish was amazing (and I don't or at least didn't think I liked basil!). For dinner I hate the halibut and mushroom risotto which was cooked to perfection. The risotto does have onions which I missed and didn't care for but they took care and offered me a separate bed which I thought was incredibly nice. The cheese curds arrived hot, fresh, and perfectly tasting... absolutely delicious! The old fashions and Bloody Marys were also made to perfection.
