Stopped in for dinner as I was looking for a nice supper club and the reviews looked good. I had an old fashioned at the bar that was very good and had a pleasant conversation with the bartender about where to hike in the area. I was seated and ordered the all you can eat salad and seafood buffet. The salad bar had fresh crispy salad fixings and side salads as well as some fresh whole wheat bread. The seafood bar had deep fried cod and perch, baked cod, sautéed shrimp and fried chicken. I tried a little of everything and it was all delicious. My only negative was that the baked cod was just a tad dry. I would definitely recommend for the buffet and it looked like they had many other interesting menu items to try next time. read more

We have been to Woodbine several times. Every time the food and service has been excellent. We've had the filet, pork chops, and beef Wellington. All were excellent. The bar area is nice, and the salad bar is good. The hot buffet is okay. The plated meals are much better. Highly recommend. And don't forget to get a yummy ice cream drink for dessert. read more

The steak was chewy and the all you can eat shrimp are mostly breading and so tiny with the tails on that you don't taste the shrimp at all. Just the breading. The service was good tho. read more

First time coming here during a weekend trip. Very nice ambiance and excellent service. I ordered the char grilled cod with fries. This was the best cod dinner i have ever had! The smoky flavor and crispy exterior of the fish was excellent. Fries were delicious of course. The brandy old fashioned drinks were on point. Salad bar was great too! Highly recommend. The Woodbine's chicken is pure heaven. Truly the best chicken I have ever eaten. Divine! Their salad bar was also very fresh. I couldn't have asked for tastier cuisine ... my only negative is that we were with two other couples and they wouldn't give us separate checks. Since we didn't have cash it made for a bit of a hassle for us, I thought this wasn't very customer friendly. The food though .... yum! read more

Our rambles took us to Necedah around supper time so we gave the Woodbine a try. We lucked out! My wife raved about her pan-fried perch. My char-grilled cod was flavorful and perfectly done. Plenty of parking for cars or campers. Olde world interior with supper club feel. Nice salad bar and soup with all dinners. I had the grilled cod and smashed red potatoes. My partner had scallops and twisty fries. All was very good. Service was exceptional. Get there when they open so there's no wait. Reservations for tables of 8 or more. Haven't been here in years ! Won't be returning any time soon !!! Ordered pizza , cheese and sausage, lady said 20 mins, I arrived on time to pick up. Pizza wasn't ready, and she couldn't tell me how long it would be. It took an addl 20 mins for me to walk out the door. Ok, things get busy But the pizza was a real disappointment, Soggy crust (too much sauce), and the sausage balls were so big, that they were not throughly cooked. Very Disappointed ! Just amazing! Wonderful service, friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and good portion sizes. Drinks great! Would highly recommend. Went here for a friday fish fry yesterday. Was not really impressed with the fried cod. The fish was good but the breading left a sharp aftertaste. Possibly pepper? Hard to tell, but definitely was not agreeable to my pallet! Our group of four all had different meals, mine being the only fried fish. Others was the buffet, which they enjoyed. read more

We were extremely disappointed with their prime rib buffet. Everything on the buffet was barely room temp & dried out & did not taste fresh. We told our waitress that it was not hot (not even warm), she suggested that we check the other buffet in the front part of the restaurant, it wasn't any better. Then asked if we wanted it warmed up in the microwave. That would be a NO, who wants meat in the microwave ? Needless to say, we were not satisfied. A woman that appeared to be the owners mother asked how our food was, we told her that it wasn't warm, she said she'd tell her son, but nothing was done, not even a sorry for the issue. No one ever came back to the table, except to bring our bill. Needless to say we won't be returning. read more

First visit after the new owners took over about a year ago. Decor and ambiance very nice. The hostess and our server also spot on the entire evening. Now the food; I had the prime rib buffet that included chicken, ribs, sausage, mashed potatoes and sliced carrots. All were absolutely delicious and always well stocked. Also included salad/ soup bar that was equally superb. Others in our group enjoyed the prime rib sandwiches and the shrimp scampi that was large enough portions for two people. While camping in the area we decided to try Woodbine Inn. It was great. Corbel Old Fashioned was excellent. The salad bar is very good. My husband had prime rib which he really enjoyed. I had Beef Wellington which was delicious. Service was friendly and excellent. We will be back when in the area again. read more

The food is unreal, the food warmer could be turned up a hair more. The service is phenomenal. I highly suggest trying it out.

Their Steaks were cooked to perfection but I will not order the beef Wellington anymore the puff pastry was not cooked all the way. The waitress made it up when we went Saturday, April 3 but she was very overwhelmed. I would go as soon as they open or wait until about 7 PM. Fantastic food! Manned salad bar. We split the ribeye and the lobster and it was amazing. Bartender made a margarita that was so good it was dangerous and a very good old fashioned. A couple near us ordered the deep dish pizza and they said it was really good as well. Get out and try this place. read more

Really good spot for food and drinks in this area. We sat at the bar and ordered a pizza later on a Saturday night. They've got a good selection of wine and beer (a few beers on tap). The pizza was really good, surprisingly good as you might not think of this as a pizza place. It is so worth the drive to eat there, we had six in our party, it was prime time, did not have to wait long at all, and everyone had something different to eat, everything was great and the waitress was wonderful even as busy as she was. Don't write reviews to often until I come across one worth mentioning and the new Woodbine is worth it. First, new owners are doing it right. Quality of food and service are spot on. Dine in menu is more extensive than the To Go menu on line. The Beef Wellington is perfect. The staff are very courteous and attentive. They all work and walk with a mission. Didn't have a reservation, but the seating was certainly within the estimated wait time given. With many of the local restaurants having staffing problems, the Woodbine has figured it out. Try it, you won't be disappointed. read more
