Typical sports bar. Food wasn't greasy. Tried the fried green beans, pretty good. They've got 2 pool tables and lottery machines too. The bar is well stocked and the bartenders were great at remembering my drink even on a super busy night. I'd probably go back. read more

Their smoked prime rib on Friday night is the best in eastern Oregon. It comes with salad, your choice of potato (try the garlic mashed!), and vegetables. Had a great experience there service was excellent, staff very friendly, food was outstanding (had their special; a bacon wrapped filet with salad, potato, veggies and bread for $14.95). I love Bud Jacksons. On Fridays their prime rib is the best. I have had the rib eye steak and it was perfect and so tender. The mushroom swiss is very good and believe me I order them everywhere. I had the Asian salad and it was really good. I am going there today to order us lunch and can't wait to try something new. I'm sure it will be good. It is my new favorite place. The bartender is nice and the waitresses are on top of it. I have ate in both the bar and restaurant and like them both. read more

Initially I figured we would be stuck eating greasy bar food, but I was pleasantly surprised by the great selection the menu had to offer. I was ready to order the Blue burger and mentioned to our waitress how much I love blue cheese and she suggested the backwoods ribeye. O-M-G! What an amazing dinner! The garlic mashed potatoes, the veggies, even the salad was great! Our waitress only added to our experience, my husband was going to order a burger as well but was guided toward the ribs and he was thrilled by "his" choice! (; Our waitress Christina, was absolutely great and was a wealth of knowledge on the wine selection. We had a great time laughing and joking with the bartender as well. The staff was laughing and joking and seemed like they genuinely loved where the work which made us fall in love with this little place.
