Clam Chowder is still beyond delicious - and they provided a splash of sherry too! Sunset dinner menu is okay. Definitely wish a few others were in the meal option list. My steak was medium well despite asking for medium, the mashed potatoes couldn't be swapped for anything and weren't great, and my son asked for no mushrooms but there were plenty in his dish. Chicken Fettuccine sauce is delicious, but the chicken is a bomb of lemon in your mouth. Salad was a little too heavy on the dressing, but good flavors and a good portion size. Fried artichokes had a delicious garlic aoli included. Creme Brulee - my son loved it to the point of scraping both of our bowls to the last tiny bit. I though it was okay but the sugar was bitter. Highlights: Clam Chowder and our awesome server (he had a beard). Both are worth returning for!

My children and I were visiting family in Washington and someone suggested we try Budd Bay Cafe! So happy they did! The views of the marina were amazing! Especially since we came at sunset. It was a big party so I can only review what my kids and I ate, but everything looked amazing! I had the surf and turf and it was fantastic! The lobster was a little cold but the hot lemon butter sauce was hot so it made up for the cold. My steak was made exactly how I ordered! My children ate shrimp pasta and they ate all of it! Which is rare so I know it was good! The service was outstanding! The pricing was to be expected as it was seafood! The waiter was on it even with the big party! Thank you when we get back to Washington we will definitely be back!!!

Food was amazing and delicious, portion was perfect and the soup was delicious and filling! The meat was tender and the calamari was crisp and fresh! Of course the bread was probably the best bread we have had in awhile! Service was top tier even on a busy day! And the atmosphere was amazing, by the dock so we can look at the water and peope walking by! Definitely deserve a second visit! Thank you for having us on a Valentine's Day !

Amazing clam chowder and all around fantastic food taste. Service was a bit lacking and slow We came on a Monday before 1pm.

Such a disappointment. Dated atmosphere and subpar food. Service was good. The rolls are hard, the crab cakes were peppery, the chicken parm was confusing. Sliced rubbery chicken that was pre sliced, floating in a watery Alfredo, topped with cold marinara, and sliced Parmesan that didn't melt. It was inedible and thankfully was taken off the check. Would not recommend, will not return.

Caesar Salad and side of king crab legs

Nice waterfront location. We sat next to the window and had a nice view of the water. Staff were super friendly but service was so slow. We were there for almost 2.5 hours and most of that time was waiting. We had ordered a coconut shrimp appetizer and it never came. I guess the server realized it and brought us out a fried shrimp appetizer with a side of fries. My colleague told him we had ordered the coconut shrimp. He told her since it took so long g the cook added fries and this was going to be free so. . . it was kinda like he was implying, "just deal with it". We did have fresh sourdough rolls. So good. . . but sourdough is my fav! I didn't really see anything small on the menu and all I wanted was king crab legs. So I ordered a small Caesar salad and a side of crab legs. The crab was so good. I wasn't expecting 2 legs! I ate the crab and took home the salad and had it the next day. I don't even remember what my colleagues ordered but they seemed satisfied with their orders. As good as the 2 crab legs were, they were not worth the $43. Will I be back? Most definitely and hopefully with my husband or someone I can share a plate with.

Amazing food and great job plating. Friendly and attentive staff. Cool view of the water. Over all a very good experience. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

The shrimp was good, through the seasoning was inconsistent despite my best efforts. I ordered the spiciest option, and the shrimp was the only part I got the spice from. Sometimes I'm there was no heat, other times it felt like it was trying to kill me. My biggest gripe with the food was the lack of potatoes. Why get stingy with potatoes? There were only 2 in the boil I got. It was a generous amount of food overall, but I feel like potatoes are the weirdest part to skimp out on. The restaurant looked nice and had good lighting. My biggest complaint overall was the choice of music. Objectively, it was not appropriate for a family joint. It was Kanye West, Childish Gambino, Tyler the Creator, and other similar artists. The songs were explicit, and there were many families with children in the restaurant. I can't rate it too low because all the food I tried was great, and I hope to come again in the future.

Looks like they have an outdoor patio as well, it was under construction today. Bet it's amazing when it's up and running. Our waitress was patient and so nice. Man oh man was our food fantastic! I'm not a fan of scallops but my husband and one of our friends said 8/10 maybe a little springy texture wise but still very very good. I, along with one of our friends ordered the halibut and French fries basket. Omg! It was so good! Love we had the option of beer battered or panko crumbs. We went with beer battered. The French fries are double fried I think and holy lord so freaken good! Cole slaw was also tasty. Husband ordered the Drunken Chef, which was a mix of rice, mushrooms, shrimp, scallops and salmon and super saucy! He loved it! Everyone tried it. Our other friend got the wedge salad and a bowl of clam chowder which was very very good! This will be a regular hang out for sure. They have a little area to buy charms and oyster ornaments! Very cute! We might return tomorrow that's how much we liked it! 10/10 go give them a try!

Next best was the bread - it was perfectly soft inside with a crispy crust. Between how oily the dish was and my nose running from the increased spice as I continued eating, I wouldn't return for this dish. The eggs weren't noticeable in appearance or taste- I had to search for them. The "creamy grits" were creamy, but the black pepper taste was STRONG. Definitely ordered the side for the "creamy" factor, hoping when the server said harissa in the eggs would have a mild spice, that the grits would calm my mouth. The amount of pepper made this unsuccessful. But if you like black pepper a lot then you'll enjoy them. My son enjoyed the beignet's. The server was also the host and he was kind. It was easy to get his attention when needed. I didn't see anyone with a grin on their face after taking bites of their food. I looked around quite a bit out of curiosity. So for ambiance, kind and prompt service, and the possibilities of the menu I gave it 4 stars. We only tried the few things I mentioned. I did also appreciate the bottle of water ready on every table. Note that there is no kids menu and it's mostly table seating. So maybe try on your own or with other adults, and leave the kids at home?

We started with the patatas bravas, gambas pil pil (butter garlic shrimp), oysters (both raw and cooked), and a hummus platter, and everything was excellent. It was wonderful to look out on the sound and soak in the sunshine. Our waitress brought out warm bread and butter to start. We then each chose 1 option from each course for our dinners. My husband had the Caesar salad starter, portobello mushroom entree, and crime brûlée for dessert. I had the shrimp cocktail starter, smoked salmon fettuccine entree, and the chocolate mousse dessert. It was all delicious and I enjoyed the leisurely courses, it gave us ample time to chat and enjoy the views. I would say the fettuccine could have benefited from a little more lemon. I asked for a couple extra lemon wedges and it was much improved to balance the creaminess of the sauce. For 3 courses at Anthony's, $35 is a pretty great price. I probably wouldn't opt for 3 courses on the normal menu, and I don't usually go to Anthony's since it's pricey.
