We had an amazing experience, starting with our fantastic waiter. He gave excellent recommendations and even surprised me with a custom drink tailored perfectly to my taste, which was spot on! To start, the complimentary bread and oil were great, and the calamari appetizer was an absolute must-try--cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. For entrees, "My Mother-in-Law's Linguine Shrimp Scampi" was delicious and incredibly flavorful. We also tried Vastro's Sunday Gravy, which was a wonderful, hearty variety of meatballs, sausage, lamb, and pork over pasta. Highly recommend! I can't wait to come back for more calamari! read more

I am writing to express my disappointment with our Father's Day brunch experience at Buddy V's in Las Vegas. We were a party of eight celebrating a special occasion with my father, husband, and family. Unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations. As we were eating, our plates were literally sliding off the table due to the condition of our seating arrangement. We requested to be moved and were initially told, "one moment." Later, we were informed that there was only room for seven guests, not eight, leaving us without a solution. Additionally, we ordered pancakes and were never informed that the portion was intended for only one person. This was only communicated after the fact by a manager who approached our table with what we felt was a rude and dismissive attitude. Rather than addressing our concerns professionally, the interaction made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. To add to our frustration, we were under the impression that the Father's Day brunch was priced at $55 per person, yet we were charged $65 per person. This discrepancy was never clearly explained. What should have been a memorable celebration for our family turned into an embarrassing and disappointing experience. My father, husband, and the rest of our family were extremely dissatisfied with both the service and the way our concerns were handled. We chose Buddy V's for a special Father's Day celebration and expected a much higher level of hospitality. i forgot to take photos before eating the food, so the pics are mid meal, which i apologize for. firstly, my friend and i were sat in the little "outside patio" area, which is literally just in the mall. i recommend not being seated there because it felt like we were zoo animals being observed by ongoing shoppers. also, to book a reservation at the restaurant, my friend had to put in her credit card information, and there was a $50 cancellation fee PER PERSON if you did not show up. lowkey that's ridiculous. we went to an actual luxury restaurant and they didn't even do all that. obviously, we did not miss our reservation, but that's actually bonkers. onto the meal, i did like the garlic bread, but it tasted like when your mom forgot to grab cheesy bread at the store on spaghetti night and just made it using ingredients in the kitchen. i expected more from a famous chef's restaurant. also, the fettuccini alfredo was so thick and creamy, like actually too creamy. i typically like my fettuccini rich, but this was way too much. i tried to thin it out by pouring some water into it. swear, i poured half a glass of water into this pasta to thin it out. and i lowkey needed more water after that. i just kind of gave up and ate it in the end. the picture i took was before i poured water in. so if extremely, overly creamy is your style, you will love this. it was my friends birthday, so we did get a free desert. it was so good, honestly the best part of the meal. the complimentary bread they put out was fire too. unfortunately, this whole dining experience was so mid. the servers were really nice and attentive, though! it was pretty okay price wise. a little pricey, but it is vegas. it's whatever. read more

With no reservations easy walk in was seated immediately. Our waiter was excellent, always checking in on us serivng us water, drinks and the BREAD! I wish i had his name, he had a great attitude. You get fresh bread with olive oil & vinegar once you order. We all ordered the $40 price fix dinner menu. Soup, salad, pasta dessert i thought it would'nt be enough for me but wow i was full! This is our go to Italian restaurant whenever we're visiting Las Vegas. Please make reservations ahead of time. You do have to put in your credit card to secure your reservation. They will not seat you until your reservation time. So if up show up at 5:15pm and your reservation is set at 5:30pm, you will have to wait. They have a menu at the front, so that gives you time to look and see what you'll want to order. Service is quick. Once you sit down, they get your drink order. You get complimentary bread & that is yummy. We've been eating here I'd say..., for the last 2-3 years & the food never disappoints. Flavors and quality of food is consistent. Their desserts are good too! But if you get a dessert to-go, it will not have ice cream. It's best to eat the dessert there. So try to make room for it. Decorations up on the walls are rustic, Italian. There's even rolling pins & whisks hanging. If you're looking for a quiet, romantic place, this isn't it. It's loud & casual. Spectacular dining experience. Host sat us next to the window so we got a little view of the strip. I was a little hesitant with a "celebrity" restaurant but I was honestly very impressed! The pasta dishes that we tried were amazing and I'm still thinking about them. We got the chicken Parmesan and the rigatoni dish. The meal comes with a little bit of bread and oil. This is located at the Venetian and right across the restaurant is the Carlos bakery shop - as a former watcher of the show I had a great time and it was cool to visit this in person! read more

WOW my boyfriend and i were walking around trying to find a good spot to eat and we stumbled upon Buddy V's. We got the À la Vodka pasta and i got the Carbonara. The carbonara was fresh, delicious, creamy, cheesy, super flavorful !! probably the best i've had . Had an early dinner at Buddy Vs (5:30 PM) in the Venetian shoppes before our Rod Stewart concert across the street at Caesars Palace. The Caesar Salad was delicious. Instead of croutons - they used crispy polenta. Which was so good. My salmon was cooked perfectly. With just the right amount of greens underneath. The cannoli for dessert was meh. I'm giving this place a 5/5. This was such a great dining experience from start to finish. David, our waiter, was amazing. He took great care of us and was genuinely funny, which made the whole meal even better. We ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, a margherita pizza, lobster spaghetti, and wine. The lobster spaghetti was hands down the best pasta I've had in a long time. I would absolutely go back just for that. The margherita pizza was also really good with a crispy thin crust that hit just right. The spaghetti and meatballs were okay, not bad, just not something I'd order again when there are better options on the menu. One small thing, we went at night and the lights from outside were really bright and a bit distracting. Maybe adding some curtains or something to help reduce that would make the experience even better. Overall, the food was great, the prices felt fair, and the service really stood out. My daughter and I enjoyed a late lunch at Buddy V's during our 48 hours in Vegas recently... Our experience was solid. I called ahead to make sure they were open and could accommodate us and the hostess said to come on in. The restaurant itself is a bit difficult to find as it's in a hallway of the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resort, but we made our way there and were seated promptly. Buddy V's offers a fun old school Italian ambiance. It's clean and spacious and has comfortable booths, tables and I think a bar as well. Service was attentive and friendly. They also asked right off the bat if we had dietary restrictions. (We don't but I appreciated them asking). We decided to order a Caesar Salad with shrimp, a plain cheese pizza, and the eggplant parm appetizer to share. They also brought some delicious bread with olive oil for dipping. We enjoyed it all. Needless to say, we had more than enough food. I felt bad that there was so much leftover and we were heading home that evening so we couldn't take it with us. We were too full to try dessert even though they offer an extensive dessert menu. If you find yourself in the area, this place won't blow you away, but it's very good! read more

My husband and I dined here for the first time last night. The staff was super attentive and friendly. The food was tasty and fresh. The ambience was beautiful (we sat in a booth over by the windows facing the strip). As the sun went down, it was a beautiful view of Wynn and Treasure Island right outside the window. From the time we checked in for our reservation until the time we finished dining, the full staff made sure we were comfortable, happy, and our bellies were full of tasty food. We ordered a bunch of items in the menu - the eggplant parm and steak tartare to start with fresh focaccia bread and oil/herbs, the wild isles salmon and chicken parm as our main meals, and the "my mother in law's" shrimp scampi linguini and short rib pappardelle to share. We also placed two pizzas to go at the end of our dining. All of the dishes were so tasty and prepared perfectly. We wound up with a ton of leftovers - we simply didn't have room for all of it - but made for delicious leftovers for lunch the next day. It was our first time dining at Buddy V's and it certainly won't be our last! Everyone made our experience feel special. Surprised at how great Buddy V's was! It wasn't really on my radar and I'm glad my friend suggested it before our No Doubt show. We ordered the Toscano salad and garlic cheese bread to start. Both were amazing!! The hostesses were all super personable and even stopped by our table sharing their enthusiasm because they could see we were going to the No Doubt concert at the Sphere. The pepperoni pizza was perfect, and so was the chicken à la vodka and braised short rib pasta. The inside of the restaurant was lively and busy because there was a big conference at the Venetian. Always make a reservation for your restaurants in Vegas as you never know when there's a big convention in town! Nice, old school, informal, quality, Southern Italian restaurant with all the classics you'd expect, cooked well and with friendly service. Let your hair down here as opposed to the fine dining palaces that dominate the Venetian. We had the tomato soup (great), the caprese salad (meh, too many extra ingredients and too much balsamic), and they kindly split the chicken parm main into two perfect lunch-sized portions that were very good. After wandering around the Canal Shops of the Palazzo and Venetian, we stumbled upon Buddy V's and we were desperate enough to walk in. As soon as I approached, I realized I had been here many years prior. We were seated promptly by a very friendly hostess. After being seated, we were greeted by a very friendly and outgoing waiter. I swear we had him years ago on our prior visit. This guy was outstanding. Anything we asked for...he made it happen. Everyone ordered something different. I never order alfredo, but for some reason ordered it and it was quite good. Everyone else raved about their selection. The focaccia bread w/ the pesto oil was a huge winner at the table. The restaurant itself is nice. It's pretty hidden amidst the vast Canal Shop area...and it's even at the end of a long hallway that leads outside. Everything was top notch...service, food and atmosphere. If you're on the fence, jump over and enjoy a good meal. read more

If you followed any of my Vegas dining experiences, you will know Cipriani's refused to let me order a side of pasta with my eggplant Parmesan. This was definitely not the case at Buddy V's and they were mortified when I told them about my experience at Cipriani. They more than happily allowed me to order a side of pasta. And, it was beyond delicious! There are those very special Italian restaurants, mainly in Italy, where a simple pasta dish is the most delicious thing ever and this was the case at Buddy V's. I'd order that alone in the future. Management is friendly, waiters are accommodating and very professional, and the place has a great friendly familial vibe. Look for the unique decor highlighting Buddy's journey expanding the business and coming to Vegas - like whisks and rolling pins. Other standout dishes were the meatballs, rigatoni bolognese and basically anything else you order. The focaccia is fresh and plentiful. A fabulous experience. We'll be back on our next visit unlike our boycott of Cipriani's in the Wynn. read more

We were seated pretty quickly and ended up with a window table, which gave us a beautiful sunset view of the Strip. Obviously, I had to order it My partner ordered the chicken piccata, which I thought was a little on the salty side, but I got the chicken rigatoni and we both agreed it was amazing. The hostess greeted us, and had a conversation as she took us to our table and then shortly after we were asked about our drink order from a staff member. The restaurant is casual, but has great views of the strip. We looked over the menu and decided to order the cheese and meat board along with eggplant parmesan. Goodness! They were both so delicious. The eggplant was crisp with a great sauce, while the cheese and meat board came with a variety plus pickled vegetables, that was just as tasty. We started dinner with Calamari and a cocktail. The server suggested trying the calamari Hoboken style. We took her suggestion and have found a new favorite condiment. The bar has a few themed cocktails in honor of the Wizard of Oz. The cocktail was whimsical and something a little different. The food was outstanding. A solid Italian restaurant but nothing super special to me. If you're looking to have pasta or pizza in a higher end establishment and don't mind making a reservation and paying a premium, this might be the place for you. The staff were all very attentive and kind. We were served delicious, warm bread with balsamic and olive oil to dip. We tried the shrimp linguine which came with perfectly cooked jumbo shrimps. The flavor was also very good. The eggplant and chicken parms seemed pretty basic and standard. The place was well decorated for Christmas and had lots of festive looking drinks coming out from the bar. Overall, I don't need to come again but I had a pretty good experience! read more

Easter brunch. SO good. The service was fabulous -- quick to get you more mimosas and clean out used plates. The restaurant has stations setup for brunch, each with quality food. The Sunday Brunch Buffet was the best meal we had over four days in Vegas. I don't love buffets but this one is exceptional. Each food station was loaded with great dishes and constantly being refreshed. The selection of house specialties, the carving station, breakfast and desserts was fabulous. The hype is real. My husband and I arrived around prime dinner time, which is 6:30pm in our eyes. The hostess let us know the wait time was 2 hours for a table. We did not have time for that as we had a concert we needed to get to. The hostess recommended we eat at the bar, which we did. The bar area was super cute with picture of buddy's grandma and cookbooks. The bar tender was so friendly and charming - gave great suggestions, answered any questions about the menu, and seemed as though he genuinely loved working there. My husband got a beer and I got a cocktail which were both excellent. I got the short rib parpadelle and my husband got the pepperoni pizza. The wait for the food was fair as it took a total of about 15-20 minutes for it to arrive. The food was the perfect temperature and tasted amazing. I am not sure if the pasta noodles are made fresh but they certainly tasted like they were. The flavor of the sauce was packed in each bite. This was my husbands favorite. The pizza was equally as good; we've had pizza in Rome and it wasn't exactly the same but it was close! I thoroughly enjoyed it. We couldn't leave without trying the tiramisu! Definitely the best we've had in the US. I would return alone for the tiramisu. read more

I love eating at Buddy V's! Everything we've ordered here was delicious. Having a reservation ahead of time is a plus! We made a reservation for 16 people on the same day and they were able to accommodate us. Upon arriving, we waited for about 15 minutes before we were seated. After the waiter took our order, the food came out promptly. We had eggplant parmesan, chicken marsala, grilled salmon, Alfredo pasta, and so many other dishes. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Our favorites were the steak tartare, grandma's meatballs, veal marsala, and Alfredo pasta. The chefs here will not let you down. So yummy! We didn't have time for dessert, but I have had the cheesecake before and it's so good! If you like good Italian food, come here and give it a try. Visited Buddy V's as part of a food tour. Really glad this was a stop as I had passed by it early Sunday morning and they were closed and I thought, it looked really cozy. The tasting was focaccia bread with olive oil, a meatball and eggplant parmigiana. All three were delicious. The focaccia was crusty and flavorful. The meatball was moist and pure Italian. The eggplant was cooked perfectly. Not greasy and the sauce was really really good! Our tour guide shared that when they were opening Buddy Vs the family came to taste the family recipe's execution. They weren't happy with how the sauce tasted. They postponed the grand opening until they got it right. It resulted in San Marino tomatoes being shipped from buddy's home state of New Jersey ! If the story is true, way to go Valastro family. Our Server was kind, prompt and informative! Definitely will be back and highly recommend this wonderful Italian and homey location for a great experience and wonderful meal! read more

Went Buddy V's Saturday night 12/13, the day after my 50th birthday to celebrate . Our evening included a comedy show at the Palazzo so we wanted to find a local restaurant nearby to have dinner beforehand and Buddy V's hit the spot. Great atmosphere and big windows that looked out over the vegas strip made a good first impression. As soon as you walk in the smell of the food gets you excited to eat! We had a party of 7 and everyone seemed to enjoy their food. I ordered a caesar salad and the chicken rigatoni alla vodka and both dishes were excellent -10/10 Ceaser dressing was top notch , fresh romaine lettuce topped with fresh parm..... yummy. Chicken rigatoni had a creamy tomato sauce that was out of sight delicious, i had the waiter top my dish with parmesan and red pepper flakes and it was a perfect spicy pasta dish as good as i've had at any Italian restaurant anywhere. Service was good , no complaints across the board ....... if i'm ever down on that part of the strip again, i'd definitely eat at Buddy V's again. A lot of great meals in the 30-35 range, great atmosphere and fantastic Italian food. read more

Buddy V's Ristorante really came out of nowhere with this one. I grabbed two slices of pizza, the buffalo chicken and the chicken bacon with white sauce, and both were way better than anything I expected from a hotel food hall. The flavors were spot-on, the toppings actually had some weight to them, and nothing felt phoned in. The real surprise was the crust. It tastes like it might be sourdough, and whatever magic they're doing back there works. No flop, just the perfect crisp with great flavor. They make that in-house, as we were told plenty of times since it takes so long to get out. Worth it (!) just a little bit of a wait, so maybe get an appetizer if anything. We got pasta and calamari to go with the rest of our pizza. Our pasta was cold right when we got it though, before even leaving the restaurant, and drenched in oil. Our calamari container was WARPED from being microwaved. The calamari's plastic box and side of sauce container were both COMPLETELY WARPED from THEM MICROWAVING IT. We did not heat it up at all because there was no need to, but we noticed before eating that all of the plastic was funky and messed up. Not good at all. Unfortunately, for what we were expecting from price and reputation, I'm sad to say it wasn't the best experience (based on price, food, customer service, overall.) There was one really nice server who spoke to us about the pizzas, and fairly, made us excited to try it! Otherwise, other than the hostess, servers were busy, unhappy, and it seemed a bit understaffed. The pizza was good, but we were incredibly bummed about the calamari appetizer.
