I called on a Wednesday to set up an appointment for Friday and my information was taken and I was told a time frame they would respond out. Friday comes, I wait all day and never heard from them to say they were coming. I call around 3 pm and the man who answers the phone doesn't seem to know about my scheduled appointment and said I will call you right back and hangs up immediately. I never got a phone call back. Its now the weekend and most places don't do service so my damaged windshield has only gotten worse. read more

I was hoping to give this place a great review because they were able to come out same day but eh... Here is the Reader's Digest version of my issue: So I was sitting in my car in the parking garage before I went into work and all of a sudden, my driver's side front window just shattered! Nothing hit it, it just shattered and thankfully it didn't fall into my lap, it stayed in place. My husband googled some places and I called around and ended up calling American Auto Glass. (They must work with Budget Auto Glass because they were the ones who actually came to do the job). Anyway I explained what happened and the person who answered was helpful...friendly NO. whatever. He said that someone might now be able to come out because it was raining. I explained that my car was inside of a parking garage. So he said he could have someone out late morning and that they'd be calling me. I hadn't heard anything so I called back just to see if the time we selected was still fine. Reason being is that I understand he's on the go and sometimes they may not be able to come at the time planned PLUS I had to use my lunch break for this. So I called and the man I had spoken with earlier sounded like he had an attitude that I even called to follow up. "Well I told you he would call you. He will be there at 12:30." RUDE! Anyway, I clocked out at 12:20 so I could start my trek in the rain to the parking garage which is about a 5-7 min walk from job. I get a call at 12:22 from the guy who is coming to fix my window and he says he will be there in 30 mins. -____- Anyway, He shows up at 12:56 and replaces my window. Didn't take very long at all which was only thing on the list of things that were positive about the entire experience. I asked him how this may have happened and he said "someone hit it." And I said that no one had, that I was the only person around when the glass broke and then he says it may have been a crack on the edge of my glass. That made more sense. I thanked him for coming out to replaced and he just nods his head yes.............ok. He then goes on to say, " you're going to have to pay for me to get out of the garage."LOL... you know what. it's the holidays, this guy fixed my window and I don't have to drive in the rain and worry about glass falling in my lap so I let it slide. I had no problem getting him out of the garage but his tone was just awful. I can tell good customer service is not stressed at all with this company. As far of the price. I had to bite the bullet and pay the $163 because other placeI called was cheaper but were stated they don't provide their mobile services in the rain. Bummer Anyway, two stars for fixing my window same day but nothing more than that due to the nasty attitudes and being late. I will definitely look elsewhere for my glass needs next time. read more

What a joke. To preface this review, I received this business' information from my dad who uses them for their work vehicles. I called two weeks ago and scheduled an appointment for this morning. I called this morning to let them know my husband was running five minutes late. They stated they didn't have an appointment for me today, the owner then said he could have someone out in less than an hour. I sent my husband to wait and after 90 minutes of waiting with no one there I begin to text the owner. I'll attach our conversation in the photos. I called the business number several times with no answer prior to me beginning to text. I asked for a discount since our wait time was now at two hours. The owner responded by screenshotting our conversation and sending it back to me, not his employee. He stated we would not get a discount. I then made him aware he was still texting me. He blamed his employee not himself on our wait and then told me he would rather not work with "people like me" I can only assume he meant people who hold others accountable for their actions or lack thereof. So now it's 12:37 when I had a 9:30 appointment and the windshield still is not finished. The owner has not apologized or done anything to try and make it right. The only reason they are getting my money is because when the tech finally showed up he shattered the windshield completely trying to take the rearview mirror off. CONSUMERS BE WARE. They lie and make excuses and do not care for their customers at all. I will tell everyone I know it's better to pay Safelite double the amount for a windshield because then at least you won't be receiving rude texts from the owner blaming you for their own problems. After this review was posted the owner then called my husband and I explicit names and wrote our credit card information down on a scrap piece of paper. No printed receipt. I'll be watching my bank account closely. Never have I been more disgusted with a business. read more

Called Budget Auto Glass to replace my windshield was quoted 190.00. When install was finished was told it was 249.67. I was charged 131.76 for the windshield and 110.00 for 2.3hrs. of labor. Install took less than an hour. When I checked the receipt it was from American Auto Glass. If they told me American would be doing the job I would have called someone else. American has the worst reputation in the area. Check reviews for American Auto Glass LlC, American Auto Glass LLC., and Budget Auto Glass. Glad I paid cash. Credit cards seem to be charged multiple times and still don't get the jobs fixed. read more

So someone threw a rock through my passenger window. budget was the only place available for same day fix. Now my window won't go up without help . It tilts and gets jammed. I called them to look at it and the lady starts getting loud and arguing that it was already like that. All of my windows worked just fine the day before. Bad enough I paid 250 for a window now I have to pay for a new window regulator. Thanks budget read more

Budget Auto Glass gave the best price to replace our Ford Explorer windshield. They were very friendly, efficient, and had time in their schedule to come to my office to replace. The windshield was replaced about 2 months ago and everything has been great with it. read more

This business not only met, but exceeded my expectations. The job was scheduled promptly and completed in the same manner. I enjoyed a good conversation with the gentleman installing my new passenger-side window, which is always a plus in my book. The clean-up of the remaining broken glass (which I didn't expect in the least) was exceptional. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a replacement glass on their automobile. If they can get the part, they will do the job, plain and simple. read more

At first, I was really impressed with the work these guys did replacing the windshield on my car. The guy came out to the house on-time, the windshield looked good, and it was cheap. The first time it rained, though, I noticed that the rain sensor wasn't working so I called them up and asked what was going on. I was advised to take my car to the dealership to have the sensor "recalibrated." $140 later, the dealership informed me that there was nothing wrong with the sensor except that these guys had put it back without the gel sensor ring! The people at Budget Auto Glass were extremely rude when I asked them to fix it, and it was only after multiple phone calls that they agreed to replace the part that THEY lost. They refused to come to me so I had to leave work early to get the car to their shop, only to have them accuse the dealership of removing the sensor ring when they ran the diagnostics on it. Even then, the guy didn't put the pod back on the windshield correctly and I had to re-mount it myself when, the next time it rained, the wipers still weren't working. I asked for a partial refund of $140 (out of $380 that I paid them for the job) to cover what the dealership charged me since THEY told me to go there and THEY caused the problem by re-assembling the sensor incorrectly, but they refused. They didn't do any permanent damage, and the glass itself looks fine and hasn't leaked. If your windshield doesn't have a rain sensor, these guys may do just fine, but they have no idea how to handle rain sensors and if anything goes wrong, the customer service is horrible. read more

No matter how inexpensive, do not ever use them to replace your windshield. They were $100 cheaper than Safelite and closer, so thought how tough can it be. I have a 2013 car that when he took off the moldings, he broke all of the clips and blamed on the manufacturer and me. The woman that is talked about in a review is actually the co-owner and is unbelievably rude to say the least. So they moaned and complained that it would be a $100 for the clips, etc. I said I didn't have time that day, it is fixable? He (the co-owner husband) said no problem, he has adhesive that would hold just fine. One week later driving down 264, the left side molding came flying off the car when I was driving. The next day I was near their shop so stopped in. The woman co-owner told me she wished I would have called first (almost yelled at me?) and wasn't her fault. All I said was I would pay the additional $100 and could come back when the parts where in. She called her husband and not only yelled and screamed at him, but referenced me to him in a derogatory manner several times. She went into the back, and after waiting 10 minutes, I just left. The next time I went in to get my oil changed, I asked them to replace the one that had flown off and the other one thinking was only a matter of time. It was $477 to do! Now I was up to $777 for the windshield. They asked if had leaked but I said no. We had a lot of rain and the car smelled a little funny but thought my kids' wet boots and my wet shoes were the cause. Well when they took up the carpet to look, the windshield was leaking from a totally different spot at the bottom. They said the sealant that was used for the replacement of the windshield was some generic non approved brand and sloppily applied. Was really a mess. Had to spend another $180 to have the windshield taken off and re-adhered. Total of $957 now. I am a small business owner and really like doing business with other small business owners, but these are ones I would stay far away from for many reasons. Not only the cost, the concern that my non-rust warranty may be voided now, but the incredible inconvenience and possible permanent rust problems from the leaks, not to mention the woman co-owner being a miserable person. PS, she also mentioned when I was getting it replaced that she goes in and tries to manipulate her reviews and gets lots of friends to write reviews to ones like this pushed down. read more
