The fleet seems to be getting upgrades, and in addition to the Altimas, they have a few nicely appointed Toyota Avalons as well. I was also informed that they were about to get another fleet refresh, so maybe this National location is looking up. I'm also happy about the personalized service. The car I was taking out had some dings on it, and I went looking around the parking lot for a staffer, and came upon the guy who does all the car damage assessment, who assured me that the cameras would capture anything in or out, but made sure to annotate my reservation booklet appropriately. Best of all still is the "local fuel option", because as I'd said in my previous review, if you rent from here, you're probably going to Bentonville or Rogers, and you can choose an under-100 mile rental fuel option, and National will charge you a flat $12.95. You could probably do better at a local gas station, but with so many flights leaving at 6AM, it's nice to have it as an option. I actually look forward to coming back here. Let's see what the next visit brings.

There is also no place on yelp to review this airport location for budget. When we booked our vehicle for this location online, there are options to select compact, mid size, standard size suv. We selected a standard suv. We received a compact suv. "Compact suv" to anyone's standards, Google, including the vehicle manufacturer, but apparently not Budget's. When approached about the size difference in the vehicle to what we paid for, budget doubled down that the vehicle we received was "standard." We paid for a standard because we needed to fit 3 car seats in the back row. We did not receive a vehicle even "similar" to what is listed when we reserved. If this is normal practice, budget should change their listings for suv reservations. Staff at the desk(Avis) were not friendly. They were just there, barely spoke and really had nothing to say to try to fix anything. The vehicle was also not cleaned like many others have reviewed before me. We would not recommend budget/avis and/or this location to anyone.

We made it in 10 hours from Dallas. They gave us a car with half a charge so we had to stop three different times to charge it. It was a horrible experience because we were in the middle of nowhere and we search for about an hour and we finally found a place to charge. You paid a charge you have to download an app a different app for every charging Tower it's so annoying. This was the worst experience I've had with the rental car and a very long time. Avis is a no for me. So are EVS. So disappointed.

The person checked the car and circled gas full. I had only used less than two gallons. I went inside and checked in. Only to find that they added $21 to a prepaid $41 fee. Since they had my card, they didn't mention the "under 75 mile charge..$15.00" I walked away and noticed the rip off. I went back and the guy removed the stupid extra charge. So, today I called the customer service representative. Expecting her to say..oh I'm sorry..instead she said and I quote..well some customers like it! In other words we are going to charge you a gas fee even if you filled it up and you ought to be darned happy. So, here is my review. I will not ever in my life rent from Budget or Avis and neither should you unless you want charges added in case you didn't notice. I only wish I knew where to turn them in for consumer fraud.
