we read such rave reviews about this company so we emailed them twice through their site and never received a reply we gave the description of what the job consist of and just wanted a free estimate that their site say's you can get. We had a great experience with Budget Flooring. We loved that we were able to take home several samples to see them in different light. We choose our floor and Don came out to take measurements and gave us what we considered a fair price. Chris was in charge of the install and did an excellent job. He worked hard, took pride in his work, and double-checked to make sure we were happy with everything. HOWEVER, all Don does is hire 3rd party installers (this wasn't explicitly told to us, he made us think he was going to be doing the work) and once you're done paying Don for the floor, you'll never see or hear from him again. The guys who installed were friendly enough but I am very unhappy with the quality of their work. We asked them to come back 2x because they "forgot" to do certain things. I entered the showroom and was immediately greeted by Jasmine, she explained the different types of flooring to me allowed me the look at all the samples & pick the ones that I liked & showed them to me in different lighting and angles and I found exactly what I was looking for. We sat down & made an appointment to have my room measured. In 2 days this was done floor ordered and received a call a week later that material received and appointment was made for install. Within a week installers came two brothers Marvin & Abe such knowledgeable guys pleasant and friendly we even chatted I asked how they learned this trade and they told me they were taught by their dad I thought how great is that teaching his sons not only the job but teaching it correctly with pride. I am very happy with the recommendations made by Don, the owner of Budget Flooring. He suggested a stationmaster carpet for my house that is just wonderful. No pet stains left behind on a new carpet. All you need to do is use some water on the mess and it is gone. He also recommended shutters with a larger than normal slat. I am more than happy with product. Not only does it look nice, but it lets in a lot of light and sunshine. I did have a small problem with tile installation where the tiles did not match exactly. I just had budget flooring installed in my house. I shopped all over town and ended up in the budget flooring store where I was helped by the owner, Don. He was very patient and took the time to explain the different flooring options and present and cons of each. I don't know how many samples I pulled out but it was a lot. He was so nice and explained to me how each was manufactured and how to tell a cheap floor from a good one. When I went in to actually place my order, his daughter was there and was just as helpful. She had her adorable son with her. It's such a great feeling to work with a family owned company. The installers just finished in my house and they were extremely friendly, professional, and obviously quite knowledgeable. They did an excellent job and had the upmost respect for my house. I wish I had written this review months ago but health issues etc. We got our flooring done in February in 2021 and the installation was subpar. Particularly the areas of the stairs, there are large gaps between planks. Someone was supposed to come back and finish this small piece next to the stairs. Never called or came back. They didn't screw the closet sliding doors after the bedrooms were completed. The installers were not professional. I noticed the days my husband left for work, the crew got comfortable and increased the volume on their music playing. Also was more chatty with me. I never got a call from the owner or anyone asking how the floors looked or checked to see how the installation went. read more

The store has a good selection of vinyl plank flooring covering all the quality and price levels. Vanessa was knowledgeable of the products and provided excellent customer service. All the displays/sample boards have a price per square foot, which is a package deal. Price includes many extras that cost additional at all the other flooring stores. Don, the owner, did our estimate, which his 30 years of experience was on full display. He took the time to answer all my questions and even gave me advice on removing the old tile. Walked in to check out their flooring, guy was sitting at his desk with a sour look on his face. No "hello" "how are you" "how can I help you" just a sour look staring back at me. We had to greet him and ask him questions. Literally had to pull it out of him! Went to look around and found one that we liked but he wasn't sure if it was back ordered. Didn't even show us one similar or try to help us find other colors. He went back to his chair and sat down. He didn't get up and walk around to help customers, just awkwardly stares at you Didn't even get his name cause we wanted to get out of there but he had long hair with a clip in it. So we had budget flooring do the floors in our new build. Don was fantastic, so helpful and super nice. Everyone that works there is amazing, and super helpful. They also carry a great selection! We had them do Mohawk carpet upstairs and vinyl plank flooring downstairs. We also had them install new baseboards. PROs - price! They were way more reasonable than what everyone else was quoting! The price and how kind everyone was is what sold us on having them do our floors! - communication - it was very easy to get a hold of and get information about the job -time - the job was completed very quickly! I was honestly surprised how quickly they were able to get everything done - the flooring we wanted we found at another flooring place, and budget was able to get it for us - and at a better price! - the work was decent, I think our floors look great, and the work was great with very few exceptions (see below) CONS - (this is with the installers - not Don or the company as a whole) Not a lot of attention was paid when installing the flooring in regards to plank placement. There are several spots in our home where identical planks are laid right next to each other and it doesn't look great when you notice it. - I'm not sure if this is because we have a floating floor but there are a lot of gaps in between our floors and the bottom of the baseboards - there is little hard spots under our carpet. I assume it's left over carpet pad from the one that was removed, but when I walk on it every so often I can feel something under the carpet. - So from what I understand traditionally flooring installers will order 10-20% extra to account for cuts and to make sure they have enough. The installers ran out of vinyl planks before the job was completed and had to order more. Also no extra was left with us, I know it's traditional to leave what is left over with the homeowners so if hey ever have to replace a plank they can. I'm not sure if any was left, but i believe there had to be something, and I'm not sure what use it would be to them but we could use it. Overall I love our floors! They look great!! The only things I wish I could change would be 1. Not having identical planks right next to each other 2. The gaps under the baseboards 3. There is one gap in between our planks 4. I wish they would have left some extra flooring. 5. The hard things under our carpet read more

If I could give them less than one star ... I would! I didn't buy anything because of the saleslady that waited on my husband and I. She was rude! I asked what I considered a legitimate question and was answered with a snarky, condescending question. I was looking at two different samples of tile and asked if they had a variegated pattern like the one on the floor. Saleslady said, pointing to the sample ... "You don't see it, do you?" I do know that you can get variations even in batch runs. I didn't respond to the saleslady ... I just walked out. I will not spend a dime there. I'm not sure why there are such poor reviews of this company. We had a very positive experience with them. I was hesitant to hire them after reading mixed reviews, but trusted my intuition instead which said "it will work out just fine." And it did. PROS They let us take 10+ samples of flooring back to our home to see what would look best with our set up. The owner, Don, despite what other reviews say, was totally honest and kind. He even personally delivered a box of sample flooring of one of out wood laminate "finalists." The installers rocked!! Poncho, Rene, (sorry if I'm misspelling/butchering your names) and the whole crew were 100% professional, considerate, and did an AMAZING job installing our floors. The attention to detail was superb, especially on the stairs. They also always were on time and called before they arrived. Great, trustworthy guys. After meeting them the first time, I felt comfortable giving them the key to my house so I didn't need to be there all the time. Price was very fair. We had three other estimates; only one was slightly cheaper but it wasn't from a licenced and insured company. The product itself was awesome. We chose a Mohawk laminate that everyone thinks is real wood! OKAY ASPECTS There really aren't any cons, in my experience. Here and there, certain things could have been more "perfect" but it's not worth writing about because the good faaaaaaaaar outweighs the tiny areas for improvement.
