Will not be returning to this restaurant ever.... horrible customer service. After football practice one night my family and I stopped in for some dinner on our way home. Not only were the girls rude after Forgetting my kids tots and an order of mushrooms. They treated her like a total POS who was trying to steal some fried food. When she let the ladies know that she worked law enforcement (because they advertise how much they "back the blue")and wasn't trying to steal from them the asked to see proof.... so she showed them her ID... the "manager" came over and said rudely "that is not our policy" "go get all your food and bring it back to the window so we can go through it and make sure we didn't give them to you." She came back to the truck, had to wrap the half eaten burgers back up and throw everything back in the bag, when we went back to the window for the 3rd time the lady stuck her hand out the window with a bag, "we did have your stuff, sorry!" A few days later she returned to work at her department to find out the OWNER of Buds Jolly Kone had made a complaint about her "threatening them" ... over fried food?? They messed up our order, and they want to try and ruin someones career over false claims?? Thank god she has worked for her department for 12 years and they know she is a very non confrontational person and would NEVER threaten anyone, especially over fried food. Sorry for the lengthy review but now that the "investigation" is over I can now talk about this incident. Spend the few extra dollars and drive to Corning to get Bartels or down to Los Molinos to get Burger Shack! They will treat you much better and not try to ruin your career over a small tater tot and mushrooms. read more

Stopped by here to grab a quick bite on our way through. I try to support as many small businesses as I can, especially these days with many small businesses struggling to make ends meet in the pandemic. However, it has been frustrating to see some small businesses, including Bud's Jolly Kone, not abiding by the statewide mask mandate in order to keep our communities safe. It's one thing where the customers aren't abiding, especially in an outdoor setting, but to see employees with total disregard to the current COVID climate is very disappointing. Due to this, I had to walk away and, unfortunately, take my business to a larger chain. read more

Family has been going to Buds for over 20 years. Last couple visits have been less than desirable. The service is terrible, the communication is poor and juvenile and at times rude. Previous ownership or leadership was stellar, today, it's a meh and a "thanks, but no thanks" from me. Probably won't be back when we are passing through town anymore. I made a Yelp account just so I could leave this review. This establishment offers very poor customer service. It is run my a legion of rude white girls and the food is okay but overpriced.
