Customer Service- Had to obtain service for employer vehicle.  Little did I know that it would take 2.5 hours just to get  authorization  for approved vendor.  Hans at Bud's Tire Wheel  displayed patience and did due diligence to get the process completed.  I was able to get the vehicle serviced (new tires, oil lube, general inspection).  Due to time constraints,  I was offered shuttle  service and facility allowed me to work in waiting area. I'm so impressed with Bud's Tire Orangecrest. Top notch service and repair. I like sharing my ongoing experiences on yelp so others will feel comfortable that they aren't getting ripped off. I took my truck in for inspection when my brakes were making noise. I was concerned because I had just had my breaks done 6 months earlier. I also thought I was due for an oil change. After the mechanics checked out my breaks, they said the breaks were working great and didn't see anything wrong even after taking it out for a test drive. They said they'd replace the pads at no charge if that made me feel more at ease. They also said I wasn't due for an oil change yet!!! I'm blown away they didn't take the opportunity to charge me for repairs that I didn't need. Buds, you have integrity, honesty, and a great work ethic. Apparently they do not do oil changes if you bring you own oil and I was told they haven't been doing this for a long time but at my last visit 2-3 months ago, they performed an oil change got me with my own oil at a wonderful price. I called in advance to confirm and I was told I could come in for a quick oil change at opening hours. Very disappointed as this was becoming my go to spot for all my car needs. Wish this idea of only doing oil changes with their own oil was better clarified as most mechanics allow you to bring your own oil. read more

Dropped off 4 brand new rims and tires at 9am when they opened just to have mounted . I had painted rings for the bead lock rims I asked the manager to be careful and not Scratch them because they were freshly painted . Not only did I have to come to pick them up after closing which was at 3pm because they weren't ready but the manager himself stacked the bead lock rings on each other peeling the paint on not 1 but all 4 and then actually still charged me 1/2 the amount to mount them . This is by far my favorite mechanic. I trust them completely and that is hard to say about mechanics. I have had many dealing with them on various cars and they have always been there to fix any issue and they are very friendly and quick to get my car back. L/F tire had a slow air leak. Jesse said they couldn't find anything embedded in the tire. He said the tires were weather checked very bad . They recommended two new steer tires and alignment. The guys at buds know their stuff and are honest. Donovan called later said the car was done.I was at work so they delivered the car to my wife in Orangecrest,at no extra charge. Went in today around 11:00 with a screw in my rear tire needing repair. They asked me what they helped me with today, I told Them I have a screw in my tire and need repaired. Almost immediately when they realized I didn't need tires I was told I have 5 people in front of me and they don't have time for me today sorry... So I went down the street to Ramona Tire, they took me in immediately, evaluated my tire, repaired and balanced in 15 minutes for a fair price. I told Martha at Ramona I would be back! One and only experience. We had a nail in our 6 yr old tire (in good condition otherwise). Took it to Bud's since we live nearby. We asked them to 'repair only' the tire. They gave us estimate of $35.00+ and we were told to leave it and give them 'a couple hours'). We went home waiting and a approx. 2 hrs. Later, they called and said they cannot repair we need to buy a new tire. We said No and we went and got it and Drove it straight over to America's Tire - it took them 20 minutes to repair it while we waited, and charged us ZERO (yes, $0)! That told us everything we need to know about Bud's! What a ripoff! Beware people: anytime you see them advertising about being voted as Inland Empire #1 - RUN (and just go to America's Tire. After my previous review of Bud's Tire Pros in Orangecrest, Bud responded to me on Yelp saying "I would like to discuss this matter with your further, please feel free to contact me at...". I don't believe we should be rewarded by business owners for writing bad reviews of their businesses. Just doesn't feel ethical to me, so, I never responded to Bud's reply of my original review, thinking that maybe he wanted to offer me a discount on my next visit, which to me, would be like a bribe. Bud's reply, however, did make me want to give him another chance. So Monday around noon I called this time, instead of using the online appointment system, and made an appointment for 8:00 am Wednesday. I arrived just about on time, maybe 5 minutes early, and told them I had an 8 o'clock appointment. I would be getting an oil change, free tire rotation (free because I originally bought my tires there and they promise free rotations for life), and an air filter. They told me they'd get right on it and it would be about an hour. I was in and out of there in about an hour-and-a-half, which is acceptable to me. I try to be a reasonable person and understand that unforeseen problems sometimes arise. I was very happy with their service this time, and I sure can't complain about their pricing. I agree with the other posts: DISHONEST BUSINESS! you won't believe this. Scheduled serpentine belt replacement and dropped off vehicle. First call was you need new tires, "Not yet worn down to wear bars" so I said no. Next call was: It needs a harmonic balancer "$700.00" I said no car is old I just want to drive until it breaks. Manager tells me if you don't agree to the harmonic balancer then we are not going to replace the belt. I went down to get my car and told him if he would not replace the belt, he would lose my business forever. He said, "Do whatever you got to do" So be aware they do drum up their own business thru bogus estimates for work or tires that don't need repair or replacement and when they can't get the mark-up, they refuse to do "any" repairs you have scheduled. I am a Costco tire buyer and have been for years... I have a 2014 Toyota Tacoma and I wanted bigger tires.. So of course I was planning to go where I have always gone. My long time friend Ryan (who is the lead mechanic here and has over 15 years experience as a ASE Mechanic) tells me to call his shop and ask if I can get a good deal they have a sale going on. I call and speak with Mike and I get a quote over the phone on General Grabber AT2 285/75/16 with install and road hazard warranty with a free alignment check for less then Costco. They didn't have them in stock but promised to have them in by the next day. They had them in and I drove down there, very nice shop. I meet with Mike and he shows me my new tires. My first dealing with this location went well, I purchased new tires and for the most part service was good. Once my tires started having problems I went back for service and you could tell the staff didn't really care about my service. In addition, I had to go back a second time to get them fixed again cause they never took the nail out of my tire. I scheduled an appointment at 8am but made me wait until 9am. This place has terrible service, only cares about your money and no customer services. I never hear employees greet the public or thank them. Not going back. read more

Definitely I will not take my car there again, they said my car needed a motor mount because my car was shaking and making noise, when I got my car back the car was still the same, we took the car back and they said it needed a motor mount which, I questioned it because that's what I paid for to get fix last time, they just said they only change one, my question is why they didn't say that in the first place. I'm very disappointed of them because it was hard for me to save that money and paid for that and for them to tell me and it needs more fixing. read more

Dropped my car off at720am first person in the door. Manager Ricardo Vazquez opened the door early told me my car would be done by lunch time. I told him I needed an oil change, brakes and most likely rotors because by car was shaking going down hill. He told me no problem they could replace the rotors. I received a call around 11 am. 3.5 hours later saying I needed new brakes and rotors which I had stated in the morning because I already knew and wanted it done. I came by the shop at 2:15 pm and nothing had been done, I was advised the mechanic was on lunch so I gave them some time. I called back at 4:30 pm to be told they don't close until 7 pm and my car was in line for alignment. I finally received a call at 6:30 pm to be told my car was ready. When I asked the manager why it took so long he told me you need to understand we are under new management and under staffed. These things take time and you need to be patient. Manager Vazquez showed no empathy that a simple oil and brake change package took 12 hours to be completed. I will never go back to company that acts like a customers time doesn't matter read more

No joke, the dumbest laziest people I've ever brought my car to. My parents and I have both brought our cars to get repairs there and they overcharged by hundreds and they didn't fix issues that needed to be fixed. They charged me $1000 to have an engine issue fixed when I was 17. They then charged my parents $2,000 and couldn't even fix the check engine issue which was ONLY o2 sensors. Read the update below: People say that Bud's Tire Pros is a good place up here in Orangecrest and I do try and support our local businesses but I did not have a good experience. When the tire store doesn't have tires it's kind of like when EL Pollo Loco doesn't have chicken. There are reasons and there are excuses but it's still not OK. Especially when it's a car because in this area and we cannot be without our car for more than a day. Bud's Tires had me without a car for a day and a half for just 2 tires. They also said that they could pick me up to bring me when my car was ready and they failed. There are too many other great tire places nearby to get this type of service. Disappointed and will not return to Bud's Tire Pros. UPDATE: Often times the sign of a good business is not that they don't make mistakes, but what they do when a mistake happens. Upon receiving the above post, Bud himself called me directly to discuss the problem. He took personal responsibility and made it right. When something goes wrong the usual response is to brush it off or placate the customer. But the right thing is to own it, apologize, and do what you can to fix it. Bud did that.
