Been in here twice now. Couple of alignments (one custom, they nailed it), one new set of tires (not only price matched but price beat), and some tires removed from an extra set of rims. All the service writers and the techs seem to know what they're doing. Friendly staff, clean facilities. Pretty timely work, had a little hiccup today with a VIP in front of me. Didn't set me back too much and everything else about both visits has been A+ so I'll overlook it and go with 5 stars. Stops by buds to get a radiator flush (oil was accidentally put into radiator) and Andrew, one of the employees working there was friendly and quick about asking what kind of service I needed for my car. After explaining to him about how there was oil in the coolant system he told me it would most likely take two flushes. I was not to happy about that but after some talking he got the price down to 120$ for 2 flushes with tax and chemicals included when it was originally supposed to be 199$. My daughter purchased a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from a local auto dealer on 05/15/2018 with 28758 miles, one tire started developing a very slow leak after 35411 miles on vehicle, she finally decided to have the tire repaired on 11/07/18, tire was not repairable, she then had to buy a new one, another very slow leak developed on another tire this past week with 40722 miles now on vehicle, that tire also was unrepairable, due to previous repairs that were not properly done to both tires, they used gummy plugs, and tires were not caught by dealership mechanic during their Certified Pre-Owned Inspection, she had to buy another tire, but this time it was at a greatly reduced price, thanks to Bud Luppino owner of Bud's Tire Pros in Riverside's, Woodcrest area. bud's tires, This is a copy of previous reviews with additions at the bottom. It seems as if buds tires will continue to send me trash, spam, unwanted and repeatedly requested to STOP harassing me and filling my emails with their unwanted mail. My email is my property not buds tires, it is for my use, not for buds tires to interject their garbage on me. You charged me an additional $90.00 when you installed my tires. A double payment as I had already paid Goodyear online. You asked me to sign the contract so you could start working. Silly me, I trusted you. It was a blank contract and you added to it, charges of which if they had been there prior to my signing I would not have signed.  Bud's tires also tried to force me to buy a battery because they said mine was dead. I had it checked by my mechanic and he stated it was good. It has been years and I am still running on it with no problem. I make trips into the desert and mountains by myself and I cannot afford to have poor equipment. It would be life threatening as I have COPD emphysema and COPD asthma requiring 24/7 oxygen support. I have tried to get bud's tire to stop sending me advertisements. I have emailed requests to get you to stop. I have tagged the click here to stop, I have called y'all on the phone. I believe that I am being harassed by bud's tire. I will not ever return to bud's tires. I let all of my friends, co-workers and acquaintances know of your dirty and dishonest dealings.  Those I know I forward to an honest and hard working Goodyear tire distributor. Stop bothering me! Stop harassing me. I have done nothing to cause you to harass and bother me. You stole from me, not I from you. I paid you good money, even though you were stealing from me, initially without my knowledge. I contacted bud's tires and spoke to a manager face to face. His words, "You signed the contract so there is not a thing you can do". But I created this letter on the bud's reviews to warn other potential theft victims. Bud's requested I call them. I have spoken to three "managers" with zero results in my favor. I have asked to stop them from sending me junk email to no avail. So I am sending email to you, and reposting to bud's tire online review pages since y'all refuse to stop bothering me. No, I will not put you into spam. A simple refund of the stolen money would have been nice. Stopping the harassment of me would have been fine. Buds tires now has decided to have their other outlets in the Untied States of America to send me their SPAM, and advertisements. I am supposed to travel all the way across the USA to have them inspect my brakes for free? Ha, they would probably try to have me sign a blank contract again and then hold my car for ransom until I paid the "additional" added on charges. Buds tire has spoken to me, they have my email, name and phone number yet they will post a reply for me to call them rather than stop their abuse of an elderly disabled man. No, I will not call them, be on hold, give up more of my time to them, listen to the latest bud's tires manager promise to stop their ill deeds to me, and then it will continue as it has multiple times in the past. I really gave Bud a challenge. A difficult customer challenge. I have a trusted friend and mechanic that lives and works about 40 minutes away from our home, and we have used Bud's Tire Pro's for just tires in the past. We have always been happy with their service. Of course I would have been happier if the tires were free, but lets stick to the real world. Anyway, our transmission was starting to slip. We were hopeful, that having bud flush it out would fix the problem, but we knew it was a risk, and it might just make things worse. I think bud suspected / knew that the flush was not successful because they actually charged us about 50 dollars less than we discussed on the phone. My wife picked up the care and showed me the bill later. Well she (my wife) ended up stuck in reverse in the Circle K parking lot, and we wanted the car to go to somebody we really trusted to get the straight news about our tyranny and possibly rebuild or replace it, so with some help from God and a surprise gift from another local close personal friend we managed to get it towed to our trusted mechanic friend. Well our trusted mechanic friend now has egg on his face (something he is not used to) because a young apprentice he hired brought him a yellow dipstick from my car that was unlabeled, and showed it to him. Since the fluid was not red and tasted like oil, he called me and told me that whomever put fluid in my tranny filled it with oil rather than tranny fluid. I questioned him several times as to whether he was sure but thinking he did the work himself I assumed a very bizarre mistake was made at Bud's. So I called up Bud's in confidence and told them that my trusted friend and seasoned Mechanic told me that my tranny had oil in it rather than tranny fluid. They took it seriously, and said they would call me back with next steps. I drove strait to Bud's in my commuter car after work and they were certain that they had put tranny fluid in, so there was a bit of a paradox and a stand-off for a few minutes. Bud took the bull by the Horns and ordered a Tow from 25 miles away at his own expense just to get to the bottom of it even though they were already sure. I didn't know what was going on so I went the next morning to beat the tow truck to my friends shop. My trusted friend was pulling a sample personally to have it analyzed chemically. When he saw that my car had two yellow dip sticks, and he pulled fluid out of the actual transmission and saw that it was new transmission fluid with metal shavings in it, it became clear what had happened. His apprentice had made a mistake, and it had cause him to accuse Bud's of ruining my tranny by putting the wrong kind of fluid in it. Definitely impressed with my friend and Bud's at this point. Impressed with my friend for owning up to the error and talking to Bud to explain and apologize and offering to pay for the tow truck coming out. Impressed with Bud for keeping a cool head, staying humble but confident, being willing to tow my car at his expense. His manager understandably got a little defensive with me and my friend, but stayed professional. Bud was firm but kind, humble, and generous. They really showed great character in the face of an accusation and unjust loss of profits. Not even sure if he made any profit given what he charged me for the oil and tranny change. I am so impressed with them, and a bit embarrassed because I have egg on my face for standing by my friend. My friends only mistake was failing to realize his employees potential for error, and being willing to fight for me, but of course it is embarrassing to get your dukes up only to realize your getting ready to punch a good guy in the nose because of a misunderstanding that is really your own fault. Trial's and conflicts reveal character. Sorry for the unwanted Trial and test of your character. You probably have enough drama, and don't need anymore, but at least you came through with flying colors. Top notch guys! I have been coming to Buds at this location since they opened. You can expect reasonable prices and great service. Jesse and Donovan are absolutely great. In fact everyone you meet there is friendly and professional. They service my entire families vehicles and my work fleet. My teenage daughter takes her car in on her own and they go out of their way to ensure great service. They treat her like an adult and take the time to explain the problem, fix and pricing. They even do services for free like installing wiper blades. Overall a great location, staff and service. I took my suburban in to have the air fixed, they tried to recharge my freon and found that my hose had a leak, the owner Bud called to see if they could do the repair as I have an extended warranty, the answer was no but he went out of his way to check. They are always professional. I took my car in and they were able to put new tires and a headlight on without me having an appointment.

I took my truck in to have a diagnostic test done due to a flashing check engine light. After keeping my vehicle for 2 full days, they replaced 2 fuel injectors but were unable to diagnose the problem. The head Mechanic was tireless in trying to resolve the issue and refused to give up. Unfortunately, the problem called for a GM specialist to solve (who of which was referred to me by Buds). But I am pleased with the way I was treated and the good customer service. They even waived all fees (diagnostic test and many hours of labor) due to the fact that they could not fix the problem. I was only charged for the parts installed. At no time did I feel I was being taken for a ride or mistreated. Buds was more than fair and I has my respect. I will definitely go back to them in the future. read more

Not even 10 mins later one of the technicians came out and gave me the bolt they removed from my tire. Fortunately it didn't punctured through. I just want to give a shout out to buds tire pros AGAIN! My brakes were squeaking so I took my car into mountain view by my house for a free inspection. Came back with needing front rotors and front and back brakes. They quoted 740ish dollars. Or 470 for the front rotors/brakes only...Took my car to buds tire pros cuz they were so kind when I got my 4 new tires a while ago. They inspected and let me know that I in fact did NOT need rotors. That while my specific car is a tad more difficult they could still handle it and shave/rotate whatever it is you do. So all I needed was front and back brakes. These guys saved us over 300!!! They're not only kind but they're HONEST which is a huge thing! Comes w a 2yr warranty as well! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them! Sure it was a 30min drive but sooooo worth it! Anything that needs to get done for me and my husbands cars will be done here! Thanks to Jesse for being so kind and taking care of us! I came in for a tire balance since I had bought the warranty when I bought my tires and rims from tire pros. I came in 5 minutes after 5 o'clock and didn't realize that they closed at 5:30. The very friendly employee ("E-Z" that's what he said his name was) managed to squeeze my truck in. I was impressed and very thankful. I also saw a customer that was not very Happy with his vehicle situation and was speaking to another young man at the front desk. The employee was being very calm and understanding. But when "Bud" (the owner) came out to speak with the customer I was amazed how courteous, calm, understanding and helpful he was in handling the situation. I've been to the Woodcrest location. They did the front and rear brakes on my 2013 Camry a few months ago, they offer dealer's quality work at affordable prices. Today, the owner welcomed me and sent his best mechanic with me on a test drive to hear the noise that was coming from my 2005 Chrysler Pacifica's front brakes. The SUV was done on time and runs great. The owner and the entire crew are very honest and wouldn't recommend any work unless the car needs it. I've never done a review before. Pretty upset over the service here. I first brought my truck here because this place was highly recommended by my stepson who works for the Riverside PD, he said the PD uses Bud's for their police cars so I felt pretty good about bringing my car here. My check engine light was on and my truck wouldn't stay running. My first visit (September 2015) was over $500. My truck ran okay for a few weeks, then it started doing the same thing. It wouldn't stay running. I ended up bringing it back here (November 2015) they told me I needed to replace the battery and MAF Sensor & Cam/Crank Sensor. So I had them repair what they advised. This time is was $600. March 2016 my check engine light came back on. I brought my truck in again and asked them to check why the light was on again. The young man I spoke with wrote up a list of things that he said needed to be done and he tried to say that they had told me this information in November. That is NOT true. In November, I was told the truck needed a battery and a MAF Sensor & Cam/Crank Sensor, so that's the work that was done the last time. If they would have said my truck had more things wrong with it, I would have asked them to take care of it while my truck was already here for repairs. They gave me a list of items and an estimated price. I didn't have that kind of money at this time so they cleared the check engine light and I took the truck home. May 2016 the check engine light came back on again. I brought the truck back. Diagnosis is $89.99. I was told it needs a speed sensor, an EGR valve, 2 oxygen sensors, a seat belt clipper and an oil pressure switch. The cost for these things was kind of high so I let the person I spoke with know that at this time, I can only afford what needs to be fixed engine wise. I've never had a problem with the seat belt so I let him know that could wait and he said the oil pressure switch is not an emergency. I asked what the price would be for the rest of the repairs that needed to be done. Total is $706 for everything; diagnosis, a speed sensor, an EGR valve, 2 oxygen sensors. Most places if you get the repairs done the diagnostic cost goes towards the repairs. Not here. Anyway, we agreed to go ahead with the repairs. The next day I get a call and now I'm told there are 4 oxygen sensors, not two as they had previously told me and that will be another $200. I asked for a discount due to the fact I was told one thing and now I'm being told another. I was told it could be done for $150 but no less because that is the cost of the sensors. I don't understand that if a truck has 4 oxygen sensors, shouldn't the mechanics have known that to begin with? This makes me question their knowledge. Also, went online to check pricing for oxygen sensors and found them for $34.95. I must say the staff has been friendly. Apparently from reading the reviews, it's a good place to take your car for tires. But repairs on the other hand, needless to say, I'm not happy with the service here. 8/2/16 - Update on my previous review. After I posted my review, Bud called me and arranged for my truck to be picked up and looked at again by his guys at the Woodcrest shop. They had to order a part, they contacted me once they received the part. They came and picked up my truck and I got my truck back up from them on Saturday 7/30/16. We'll see if this does the trick, got my fingers crossed. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks Bud!! read more

The first time I came in Jesse helped me out and he was fantastic. This time I brought it to Juan and Bobby has been my follow up guy. These guys are experts in customer courtesy and service, the prices are reasonable (not cheap but better than most) and the work is quality.
