Stopped for a few beers and of course a pizza, always delicious with the freshest ingredients. Matt is always walking around checking to make sure everything is good which it always is!

Now that the craziness has calmed down. I suggest you check out Buffalo Deep Dish. We have been there several times and it is always perfect! Best pizza I've had. Matt and his crew have been working hard to make this happen. A little patience is needed at times. Grab a beer or drink from Briar Brothers Brewing and relax. The flavor, texture and taste for the Detroit style pizza is worth it. We look forward to many more visits for delicious pizza and great beer.

I will forever be dreaming about this pizza. The Detroit style, "Star of the Show" was phenomenal! The combination of the crispy crust and soft pillowy inside was perfection. The toppings (pepperoni, ricotta and hot honey) complimented the tomato sauce well. I'm so happy they're back and even better than before being inside Briar Brothers!

Amazing , I'm so glad these guys are back . Such a better spot than the old one. Fantastic pizza and ownership . They're super busy because people have been waiting forever for them to come back. It's worth the wait. Grab beers at briar brothers and wait . Go get your pizza!

This pizzeria is located inside the same building as Briar Brothers Brewing. So grab a table at Briar Brothers, get a beer, and then walk over and put your order in for a pizza. The deep dish pizza is the closest thing I have found in Buffalo to true Chicago style deep dish. While it is not cheap--$28+ for large with two toppings--it was sufficient for both me and my husband. In fact we had three extra pieces we took home and both of us had lunch the next day. There really is no ambience score for Buffalo deep dish as it's simply a window where you go to place your order in the building. But as always Briar Brothers has a very friendly clientele and we greatly appreciate that they are dog friendly. Since we had not gotten any pepperoni on our pizza as it was a Friday in Lent, one of our dogs took it upon himself to find a soft touch at the next table where they did have pepperoni on their pizza.

    02/06/2026 Chunky Sausage and Pepperoni!!

I am a huge fan of Buffalo Deep Dish. The first time we tried their pizza was this past February. It was worth the wait in line (about 20 minutes) to place an order. I don't mind waiting for good food. The pizza was amazing. My wife agreed with me that this was the best pizza we have had in Buffalo. We are foodies, and will happily try a new place, just for the adventure. The pizza dough was excellent as well as the sauce, and the toppings. We ordered a Pepperoni Pizza, and a Sausage Pizza. Everything was great. We felt it was so good, we even went back and ordered one for some close friends and they loved it too! We were so happy to finally find a place that actually gave you sausage chunks, and not minced sausage that the majority of the pizza places give you. We can't stand minced sausage. You can barley taste it. We always check with the restaurant and ask if they use minced sausage, and if they do, we won't get it. We took a chance and ordered the sausage, and were ecstatic to find they used chunky sausage! Which brings up a big complaint, that they need to fix in my opinion. THEY DON'T HAVE A PHONE NUMBER. That is a huge problem, especially for a place that sells out of food. It's a bit of a trip to get to, and it would be nice to call ahead and find out if they sold out, rather than having to find out when you get there. We got a couple peperoni and sausage pizzas this past Friday 05/01/2026, and it was a huge disappointment. One of the pizzas was over cooked. The dough wasn't soft and doughy like it's supposed to be. It was tough, and and not pleasant to eat. On top of that, they switched to using minced sausage. I had to take a double-take, because I had to ask my wife (who ordered the pizza) if she ordered a sausage and pepperoni. She said she did, and when I looked more closely, I saw the minced sausage. Not Good. The second pizza wasn't cooked as hard, and was a little better, but not by much. I would have called to let them know the pizza wasn't up to par, but you can't. I hope they fix these quality control issues or people will stop coming there. Please, Please go back to the chunky style sausage. It makes a world of difference on a pizza. Will I go back and give them another chance, yes I will, because I know how good their pizza can be, but it won't be for a couple months, at least.

I'm always on the lookout, keeping my ear to the ground, for great pizza places in Buffalo…read more Although sometimes, I just want to try some place new. I had heard good things about Naked City Pizza, so I decided to take a break from my usual spots and give them a try and overall, I am very pleased! I called around 4:45pm on a Saturday and a gentleman took my order. He was courteous and friendly and said my order would be ready in 25-30 minutes. I arrived about 30 minutes later, easily finding a parking spot in their large parking lot, which is a mixture of pavement and dirt/gravel. Walking inside the shop, it's similar to most Buffalo pizza shops where it's relatively small and really about take-out, not for dining in. There were a few young guys working the counter and ovens, they were able to get me in and out quickly. From the limited time I was inside, the workers were friendly enough, they seemed to get along well. For dinner, I ordered a Quarter Sheet (6 slices) Steak and Three Cheese pizza but the gentleman who took my order over the phone put my order in as a Half Sheet (12 slices). They realized the mistake too late and gave me the Half Sheet for the Quarter Sheet price! I really do appreciate that, it's great customer service. I have half a pizza leftover for a quick dinner now! Naked City Pizza nails the traditional Buffalo-style with a doughier undercarriage and nice crispy, chewy crust. The dough was airy but it didn't seem as "heavy" as many other pizza places around Buffalo, but maybe I was just REALLY hungry. haha For their steak pizza, it seems like they use thicker pieces of steak, which was great, definitely felt more substantial. Most steak pizzas come topped with banana, hot, or sweet (bell/green) peppers, but Naked City uses roasted red peppers, which are sweet and have a more distinct flavor and softer texture - I was impressed, this paired VERY well with the other components! Along with them, there's also onions on top. The three cheeses used are cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan, which of course are delicious. In addition to the roasted sweet peppers, the other component that I was surprised by was the white garlic sauce as the base. Steak pizzas around Buffalo vary from using a "hoagie oil/sauce" to just a huge variety of cheeses, no base sauce of any kind. I tend to stay away from white sauce on pizza as it's usually associated with garlic (I don't want my breath to be too... fragrant haha), but this wasn't too garlic-y, I didn't feel like I was "wearing it". I enjoyed the added creaminess the white sauce added to this pie. After six slices, I stopped myself and put the other half in the freezer. The six slices I had were delicious and filled me up nicely - The squares were cut nicely and they were plenty filling with tons of meat and cheese. I have a feeling these will reheat in the oven nicely. Looking at the prices, I was impressed too with how affordable Naked City Pizza is! All-in-all, I'm glad I gave Naked City Pizza a chance and had a great experience! The staff are friendly enough and quick, it's easy to get in and out quickly, and the pizza is traditional Buffalo-style so it's on the heartier end while being affordable. I look forward to ordering and trying a red sauce pizza from Naked City Pizza to see how sweet their sauce is.

From the outside, the restaurant was inviting, with a clean and nicely kept outdoor seating area. The inside was equally pleasing, with a full view of the pizzas being prepared! The greeting upon entering? It felt like a longtime customer coming back for another visit! Enthusiasm, laughter, and genuinely good energy right from the start. Love that! On the menu for this visit: Panzanella Salad, a half-pepperoni/half-sausage pizza, and Affogato. The Panzanella was beautiful in presentation and tasted just as good. Firm, fresh tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, red onions, crostini, and dressing that all complemented each other perfectly. Refreshing and delish! The Affogato...AffoMazing!! Such a simple combination: espresso and vanilla gelato/ice cream, but goodness!! Sometimes simple is all you need. Now, the : At first, I was getting ready to be unimpressed. But NOPE! I haven't been to Italy in a little while, but this pizza was freaking close, if not spot-on, when it comes to authenticity! Brick-oven baked with a light crust, chunky real tomato sauce (forgot to ask if it was home-made), just the right amount of cheese, and REAL pepperoni and sausage. And did I mention...very little grease?! The taste was light, fresh, and not overly filling, just right! Overall, Forno Napoli was a fantastic choice! Great atmosphere, warm service, fresh food, and pizza that brought back a little taste of Italy. Definitely worth a visit! Ciao

I took my son there for lunch the other day, and we were warmly welcomed by the owner, who as it turns out, I knew from his previous restaurants stops. I hadn't seen him in about 15 years, but I recognized him instantly. Great service, polite and courteous staff, and delicious fresh food, are my initial reactions. I was surprised how good the San Franco pizza was! I also had a bowl of Pasta Fasola which was outstanding. I live in the city of Buffalo between Delaware and Elmwood and there are many pizza places around here, plus, I grew up on Bocce on Bailey pizza. However, the Forno Napoli pizza now ruins all others for me. I have never been to Italy, but I imagine this is what pizza is like there. Authentic and fresh. I'm taking all 3 of my kids back there tonight. Trying their salads and pasta as well. This place was very busy on a weekday at 4pm, so it is not a secret. It is also not cheap. You are paying for the quality of the food, and it is worth it.

I think we tried almost every flavor, but the standouts were the Buffalo Chicken - which I would never order but it was so incredibly good and the crust is perfection. I think we got 10 slices, and ended up getting 2 more slices of the Buffalo Chicken to take home - yes we ate pizza for 3 days and so worth it lol. When you first enter, there is a phenomenal selection of specialty pies, and all are included in their two slice & soda special for $9. They offer both fountain sodas and a generous selection of refrigerated drink options also. Once you order, there is a back dining room with several different size tables, but all with Bills chairs, which is a neat trend we loved seeing in this area, despite being from Florida. The man who greeted us was kind helpful and I was impressed with the pizza options. We ordered: - Buffalo Chicken: had a really good flavor & was my favorite! - BBQ Chicken: my son loved it - Margerhita: also had a good flavor - Pickle: the best we've had by far - Beef Pattie: looks like a Jamaican one but isn't spicy and had a very strange almost veal or lamb taste. Overall the flavors of the pizzas were really very good, but unfortunately every slice was so overcooked and burnt that it quickly overtook the great flavor of each bite. Now, the thing is, everyone likes different kinds of pizza, and apparently Brooklyn style isn't necessarily our jam, but for something we really don't like (black crust), it was still very good and we would highly recommend it to people who like more cooked pizza.

This time I ordered their take on a WNY specialty pizza: the chicken finger pizza. In short, it was fantastic! Since I'm a member of their rewards program, I received a "$5 off your next order" code and figured it'd been a couple months since my last visit. The coupon couldn't have come at a better time. I placed my order online on a Saturday around 4:15pm for a 5:05pm pick-up. I know, you lose a bit of the personability when you don't call the restaurant to place an order, but online ordering is so easy and quick, and I love being able to pick my pick-up time and know my order will be ready, and paid for, when I arrive. As of 07/2026, the inside of One Pie Pizza Co. underwent a remodel. It's not as spacious, but I think it opens up their kitchen more, which I'm 100% on-board with since that means more pizza and other goodies. The staff are just as friendly and courteous as ever, I'm glad that hasn't changed. So, for dinner, I ordered a QTR Sheet (six slice) from their "SUPER Specialty Pizza" menu - The BFLO Chicken Finger (blue cheese base) cooked "LIGHT WELL DONE", which is a choice between their homemade red sauce or blue cheese base that is topped with diced chicken fingers, mozzarella cheese, and Frank's (medium) sauce. The "LIGHT WELL DONE" option is for cooking the dough underneath a bit more, firming it up, making it crispier. I like a little extra cook on my pizza as, sometimes, the Buffalo-style dough is a bit too limp, almost soggy/wet, which makes holding a slice... challenging. haha Now, I've had a few chicken finger pizzas throughout the years and while I love them, they don't always love me back. They're typically very dense pizzas thanks to all the cheese (blue cheese base AND cheese blends on top) but I was impressed with how well One Pie Pizza Co.'s sat. Don't get me wrong, this pizza is absolutely loaded. When I opened the box, I was worried how I was going to pick it up as it looked messy, but as they say, appearances can be deceiving! I was impressed and didn't finish my meal wearing it all over my hands and face. Every slice was generously topped, the flavor was spot-on. Now, I love a cheesy pizza, but I really appreciate the constraint One Pie Pizza Co. showed with not going overboard with a "blend" of cheeses on top of a blue cheese base - The layer of mozzarella was plenty, a great flavor on its own. As with all of their pizza, this left me happy and full. With that $5 off coupon, this brought the price to under $20, an incredible price, especially in 2026! One Pie Pizza Co. remains one of my favorite pizzas in Buffalo. I'm glad I finally tried their chicken finger pizza, this was excellent.
