I came here with my dad and was very pleasantly surprised. I'd had some bad experiences in the past a other Bdubs locations but I figured I'd give it another try. The place was very lively and clean with flat screen TVs everywhere. Our waiter was very polite too and the management seemed on top of things. If you're up for some spice, try their Blazing Hot Wings -- as pure capsaicin as you can get. For a less gastro-intestinal-tract-burning experience, try the Spicy Garlic sauce. I should have gotten to writing this review awhile ago but anyway, here it is. Friday is bar crawl night with my friends Danny and Ashley. We met up here because Danny was eating dinner with his other friends. Ashley and I joined after they ate. They had already had two beers and were ordering their third round. I ordered a Yuengling and Ashley a shot and miller light. We were all having a good time time until we went to order a second round. The waitress stated she wasn't comfortable serving us and our table was cut of. At 9:50pm on a friday night in Blacksburg we were cut off at a bar. We thought she was joking but no we were done. We asked why and she wouldn't tell, we had done nothing to warrant being cut off. We asked for the manager but once a server decides to cut you off no one can serve you. Would literally eat here everyday if I could afford it! Just like the commercials say: wings, beer, sports. Doesn't get any better than that! I ordered a medium all flats, buffalo style on 5, medium on the other 10, with ranch and celery. I love anything spicy but i have to have water with my meal! I needed a refill for about 20 minutes of our lunch. I was there with my friend, her daughter, and my son. The server stared at us any time we corrected our kids and would not look away.. Kids are kids and they're gonna be sassy and need to be disciplined. We didn't need an audience for disciplining our children. Other than that, GREAT FOOD! Mediocre service. Average. The food's not bad but it is extremely over-priced for what you get, which is about the same as every other burger joint in town. Good wings, though. Loud. Good sports bar for students, not great for anyone else just looking for a meal and a place to talk. Having been at this great location for the past few months. I can safely say I can write a more than adequate review. Positives: The food, drinks and cocktails have been served in a relatively fast pace. Was informed of the trivia game they have going on and the weekly specials. Was given the drinking specials for each occasion Some of the hosts did give me great customer service Could Improve: On several occasions was not told what the days special was. Negatives: Horrible service from some of the staff (was charged full price for a cocktail during happy hour :|) (was actually handed the menu and eating utensils at the entrance before sitting down at the table :|) (was given more wings than I had ordered) (was told of certain events that occurred during the week, that never came to be) (had the menu forced on me on 2 occasions). This might be one of the reasons why some of the waitresses working at this BDUBs can afford to have a BMW and work at this place. :| Overall its safe to say, Im not heading in that direction ever again. Absolutely horrible service. I am a local customer, who regularly orders wings on Tuesday during the deal. I understand they are busy on these nights, but tonight I called my order in two and a half hours in advance (online ordering doesn't work, by the way. They'll lose the order and blame it on you, regardless of the confirmation) and when I arrived at 7:30 to pick it up, I had to wait for over twenty five minutes before they would hand me the food - that was in the warming tray the whole time. The wait staff will not respond to complaints or bring in a manager, no matter how long you wait. Ridiculous way to treat customers, with not even an apology. Don't waste your time. read more

This place has NTN Trivia, which is awesome! The drink prices aren't great, but there are specials on Sam on saturdays and Leinekugel's on Tuesday. If you can stomach generic beer, there is usually a special. Wing night is Tuesday, so matching this with Leinekugel night makes for a great Tuesday. DO NOT EAT HERE. My friends used to work here and I've heard horror stories about the management. They do not train the new employees at all, so the service is going downhill fast. They are disorganized, rude, fake, and they treat their employees horribly. One of the managers routinely screams at his employees and makes them cry. One of the kitchen employees sliced his hand open and was not allowed to go to the ER even though he needed stitches. The GM is petty and does not care about her employees at all. They are in it for themselves, they could care less about those under them. All of my friends that used to work there quit after the management changed. DO NOT give them your money. I have been a regular at BWW for the last 5 years and I don't even eat meat. The kind of regular where my drink used to be poured as I walked in, I'd buy over 500$ of gift cards during the holiday season to get my bonus bucks and I'd spread my purchases out to help the various members on the wait staff get good sales. I was chatty with the managers and staff. Felt like a neighborhood bar. I'm downright addicted to Buzztime trivia. Since their move to the new location, everything has gone down hill and I just have no reason left to go anymore. Last night, I gave a gift card with 41$ on it to a stranger because I just won't go back. We've noticed that the "regular" staff from the previous location is mostly gone. I wish them well. The new staff is not well trained, apathetic and just not good. They regularly don't know the menu or what is available. The wait can be mind numbing. Beverages and food items are often not available, making me think that management isn't very on the ball. They make you feel like you're just a number or an order. There is nothing at all special about this. The new location has all the feel and warmth of an airport terminal. It just seems as if they are going through the motions and not caring. If this location wants to get by on out of town visitors who need name recognition when they come into town, or college students on cheap wing night, so be it. They will be paying the price when students are gone and the place is deserted during break. read more

I've always had a good experience, it can get pretty busy during wing night (Tuesday and Thursday) and you may have to wait a little bit to get a table. The wings are always good and if you aren't into wings you should try their Black and Bleu burger, which is one of my favorites. read more

Have never had a problem while dining in before. Our experience today is by far the worst that we have had here. Initially we walked inside and it took five minutes to be greeted and seated, when seated nobody talked to us or asked our drink order until 25 minutes later after we had talked to a manager. People who had done walked in and been seated after us had done ordered and their food was slowly coming out. While talking to the manager a customer came up and hugged the manager, and it was like the manager had forgotten that we were there upset. He continued a conversation with the person who walked up and hugged him. After our order was taken we waited an additional 50 minutes on the food to arrive to our table. Our food finally arrived to the table and our boneless wings came out as traditional. It took another 10 minutes after that to receive the correct order. My cousin, his girlfriend, and I ate here last night and we were greeted warmly and serviced almost immediately. We had good draft beer and the best chicken wings we've ever had. I myself had never eaten at a Buffalo Wild Wings until last night, but I was so satisfied with the food and service that I left our waiter a twenty dollar tip. Do not eat here. For a chain that is going downhill this franchise is leading the charge to the bottom. I used to eat here a decent amount, I really enjoy the trivia and is has always had OK enough food. However, if you go in and there are more than 3 other people in the restaurant the food will take forever to get to you. To be fair, I do order chicken wings mostly so it probably catches the kitchen staff off guard. You know they are in bad shape when they have to guarantee lunch in 45 mins or free, the reason other restaurants don't is they can get food out in a reasonable time. Aside from that staff is hit or miss, many are friendly enough but there are more than a few that are extremely upset that you are bothering them enough to place an order and treat you in kind. I gave them another shot during the playoffs and it was the worst idea I ever had. Stay away there aren't a ton of other options for sports bars in Blacksburg but ANY of them are far superior to this store. read more
